Most of us in the cryptocurrency space has made more losses than we could count and regaining the losses is a very keen desire. In regaining the losses, we need to be careful Inorder to avoid the risk of loosing more funds to the "get rich quick" scheme such as the ponzi schemes and high yield investment schemes. I've decided to regain my losses by trading cryptocurrency and doing bounties.

I do not make crypto as my main job because I am still actively working offline. so I'm not very dependent on crypto alone. if the coins I have do not match the price that I expected or I have previously targeted I will not sell. I will continue to invest in coins that I think have a good future and have a large volume in the market.

My mindset always positive even I lost 60% of my capital its not easy to mange emotion especially in this kind of situation everyone dream to make profit not to lose.
My best strategy to avoid losing again and to recover my fund is make an excel of risk management then always think to your mind dont be rush to enter inthe market make a good timing if you think you have a make profit then sell it and dont be greedy aside from that I only buy 30% of my fund.

I involve in day trading and participate in bounty campaigns and airdrops in a bid to minimize my loss. It was my unfortunate that I joined the crypto world much later when the market started declining with majority of coins declining in prices. As a result, I have suffered much losses. Now I am much active in bounty campaigns and airdrops to reduce my loss.

Nobody is at stake. Loss is when you choose to lose. Losing means you can withdraw your investments below the purchase price of cryptocurrency. Do not consider any fluctuation as a loss. Market fluctuation is a crypto feature, and that's a good thing, otherwise no one would make a profit.
To recover your losses, you just have to wait. Investing in crypto is a long-term investment, so we have to wait for it to win. The one who has the stronger nerves wins, who does not, lose.

The very best thing to do to recover losses is simply do not panic on selling because it can not help but increases losses. Hold for long and wait for the market recover can do help to cut losses. Wait because market will always recover anytime.

You have a long list of altcoin portfolio that have tanked down by 90% since you participated in the ICO.  What was $5000 is now worth $500.  You are at a loss of $4000 and there happen to be an upcoming token sale that is pretty hyped.

You are in desperate need to recover your losses and you plan to invest in that hyped token sale in hope that you can earn 5-10x.  Would you:

1. Pump fresh fiat out of your pocket into the token sale or
2. Trade off the the altcoins you have for BTC/ETH and invest into that hyped token sale.

Firstly if you are thinking of selling more of your tokens at a loss because you are scared of losing more, don't try it. Just take your mind out of it or be patient. While your mind is off you previous failing investments, you can invest in new ones have low value, good trading volume and has the capacity of doing *5 very easily, buy bulk those cryptos in bulk and do short term trading with them

I think you should not use other money because the risk is to increase your loss, if you don't need to withdraw your money in short-term you can try to change some tokens to Eth and BTC and hold them for long term....

Actually, there is nothing to do right now expect waiting.

If i were smarter i would sell when it was worth some money and buy back around now. But right now, i am just hoping price will return to old values.

All hype tokens for me is the same with other. It got a lot of attention at first and then die after it. So to be safe you need to hold onto your portfolio and wish for the best as i dont see how you will recover from it unless bitcoin are pump up again. We all have gain a lot of loss and to be recover we need to buy more stable coins and hope for the best. ICO nowaday is not the same in the year of 2017. Lot of ICOs now just as the same shit token. Most of them has no values at all even hit in exchanges.

With the ico, especially if you are a little suspicious or are you investing in ico, do not invest in investing buy tokens to ico just enough and so just because of the ico really do not lose the risky if big whether your due to the token value and your bigger loss for good is just hold it because you have the chance to recover your losses using the hold of your purchased token can only be do let's wait for it and do not just look at your wallet because it affects you so you do not have to worry about longterm and have your token value potentially because someday the price will increase is still good to do now buy altcoins with the potential to recover the loss.

Do not invest more than you can risk. Even if the 5000 bucks remains ETH or BTC, you still lose. It is best to wait for the next bull run. Because you can lose more by investing a lot and this will cause you to make big losses.

As long as you don't sell your ETH and BTC, you do not actually lose because you still have a chance to sell at a high price when the market can increase back. But if you are desperate and you don't have the patience to wait until the market recovery then you lose because your money is decreasing too deep and you don't have a chance to sell when it increases.

That is why you need to use the money you can afford and don't be greedy and expecting a big profit if you don't want to see a big loss. So you need to hold your coins no matter if it's ETH or BTC, wait for a while and don't lose hope in cryptocurrency because everything will fine in the future.

Glad to see you
we have all made mistakes in this market. some of us made small mistakes leading to small losses like -30% but some others remained in denial of the dumps and lost up to -95% of their investment.

what you should do after a mistake is to learn from it and do not repeat it ever again. in this case it means never bag holding any altcoin that continues losing value or invest in any  ICO which is obviously going to fail sooner or later.
I, too, in 2018 lost more than 85% of my Bitcoins. But this year I will invest and trade, I want to restore my capital.

I have a bit different way to minimize my loss. I increase my participation in bounty campaigns so I can get more free tokens to recover my loss. In my case, I have suffered a big loss as all my coins have declined almost by two thirds. But I have not sold off them in the hopes that one day they will increase in prices and give me much benefits.

1. I wouldn't invest in hyped coins just to recover my previous losses. There are lots of people who are paid by companies to hype their coins.
2. If there is no progress in the coin in the market and only a few people do trade, then I might consider to trade it to bitcoin but I won't buy the hype coin.

Agree! Don't be fooled with that hyped token sale. You might end up losing your money again. You have to think wisely on where will you invest your money. Invest with those who have a potential to grow in the future. Not just because of that hyped.
You should not take it as long term investment but just try to pick it up for short term investment and look at how promising will always give investors a huge profit and if we have been getting it and just sold them asap. that's the strategy in the token sale market.

You might loose all your tokens if you will go for the number 1 it is better to trade your top pick coin for you to earn even a little it is much better rather than an instant profit from another investment. You only need to have a patience when trading coin because you can earn from it but not that huge.

Invest some altcoins that are already on the top 10 list. Just look at coinmarketcap. They are on their dump price so you can sell your reward token and buy established and old coins. Do not just stick to that coind you have. Or, you can also buy at least ETH.
