I would not sell or trade crypto currencies at the moment, because the market is still very unstable. The only solution if you want to take part in a token sale is to get some extra fiat funds and buy more crypto currencies.

To restore losses is indeed very difficult. We must have a very strong will to rise again. If you believe you can make short-term trading. This trade can generate profits every day, but you will also suffer losses. So you also have to be careful when buying coins.

I can't trade most of my altcoins off because I have lost so much from them. Instead of doing so, I will pump more fiat, buy many undervalue projects also continue to do my short term trading as I have been doing before.

I think close to 80% are not just useless but very useless to be honest. After all the hype from acorn collective and the so claimed fund raised they still shut down and I have come to a conclusion that may alternate coin are just so useless and many will still go down

You have a long list of altcoin portfolio that have tanked down by 90% since you participated in the ICO.  What was $5000 is now worth $500.  You are at a loss of $4000 and there happen to be an upcoming token sale that is pretty hyped.

You are in desperate need to recover your losses and you plan to invest in that hyped token sale in hope that you can earn 5-10x.  Would you:

1. Pump fresh fiat out of your pocket into the token sale or
2. Trade off the the altcoins you have for BTC/ETH and invest into that hyped token sale.

Share your thoughts.
What you have to do is to make a betted decision this time, invest on a more good coins so you will not lose money again. That’s usually a mistake of greedy people like newbies, they just think to make easy money well that can be the worst result to you. Its hard to get back that losses, don’t focus on that try to make a new investment and focus on your new goal.

I think I will buy and invest in btc but it will take a lot of time to recover your lost, the situation in the market is not too good so if you buy another token or ICO it could make you lost more money, even if you hold the unknown coin for a long time there are no certainty you can get profit, but if you hold btc or eth you got a bigger chance to make profit

Like many here, I lost quite a lot of money. But I will not sell those coins that I have for a penny. If I see a good project and I am sure that I can earn-I "pump fresh fiat out of my pocket".I chose a certain circle of coins in which I invest and try not to change it-not to move from one coin to another.

Add more funds into it but IF the ICO you invest is really good. If not then just cut loss and invest it to other coins. I think it's more better to give up and just cash your coins and move on to other coins or trading it with the rest of your balance.

If you experience a loss, of course, everyone must have experienced this. Therefore all you have to do is not play on one altcoin. Because you can restore your losses if you play only one altcoin. You have to play on many altcoins to prevent your losses on one altcoin and make a profit on other altcoins.

I try to multiply my assets by selling them during a small pump and buying them back upon return. This is also risky, but so far I have been lucky.

You need to think wiser to avoid  certain mistake again, option 1 can work if you already learned from the last dumped, you have to make some good research and review each projects that will be introduced, while doing that, don't trade your last investment and treat it for long term assets, you can
make things possible if you will not stop learning how to succeed from this filed of industry.

1. I wouldn't invest in hyped coins just to recover my previous losses. There are lots of people who are paid by companies to hype their coins.
2. If there is no progress in the coin in the market and only a few people do trade, then I might consider to trade it to bitcoin but I won't buy the hype coin.

Agree! Don't be fooled with that hyped token sale. You might end up losing your money again. You have to think wisely on where will you invest your money. Invest with those who have a potential to grow in the future. Not just because of that hyped.

I guess you can't do anything about that. If you wish to dump it today and take the loss so be if, but if you are willing to wait for another bull run and hope to see the your investment grows again then hold. That's why its very important you invest what you can afford to lose, so that it won't bother you in the long run.

maybe many of us are having serious problem with lossing money from many dumps in last few months, but until now there are not much way to earn our money back except for keep trading and investing, trading of course for experts who has experiences with cryptos trading and investing for anyone willing to take the risks to loss money if the new tokens failed.

It will be a learning so that we can do more selective things later, now it is better for us to be more careful in choosing investments and not carelessly, many of which already get losses but we must be prepared later with sweet things when the portfolio increases

You said that upcoming token sale that is pretty hyped, I know that you want to recover previous loss, but how about the upcoming token sale let you loss again, then your loss is much more than before, don't be too anxious. As your question, I'll trade off 50% of my BTC/ETH and the other 50% from pocket money.
