never trust anyone in cryptocurrencies because it will make you lose assets and it was the worst experience I've ever had, because it's easy to trust other people we don't know so in the end I have to lose $ 1000.so be careful when transacting with escrow unless you are familiar with it. and be careful in buying altcoins during the ICO because not all projects are trusted. so you better buy on the market exchange.

My worst experience is when I have a chance to become a millionaire but I did not hold my coin for only 3 months, those are altcoins that I get from bounty one of this coin is a new coin and it is a play to earn project and now listed on binance that was really a very sad experience for me.
Sometimes the bad experience can be a stepping stone to success in the future,
it's better to just think positive maybe it's not your luck and we can use that experience as a lesson so that later we don't repeat the same thing
Luck and badluck yes they play an important role as much as other things. I remember I have the coin that supposed to be worth thousands of dollars few days later but I accidentally sold it under a cent. I felt really bad whenever I remember it , and I count it as one of my worst experience here in crypto.

@rhodel 3 months is kinda long wait and who knows that what if the coin turned bad? At least you have sold it for some nice amount. Right now, there are so many scams and most of them are new projects so it is hard to decide if we will hold them for a longer time or sold them as early as possible for a sure profit.
I ever on your position and twice moment when I try investing on coin listed at Hotbit and Lbank, first I spent $1,000 for investing coin listed on Hotbit but developer change with new coin and price dump until my fund left only 1$ right now with coin price dump. Later I try spent $500 on Lbank exchange market coin listing but have the same thing owner change smart contract address with new contract and I loss much there with my fund left 20$ right now. Maybe some time cut loss is best way before loss all fund and I will be careful with coin easy for upgrade smart contract with BSC and Polygon network.

There are too many new projects in this day, most of which are fraudulent and some of which are true. As a crypto aficionado, you must be watchful in order to determine who is who. I'm going to use this medium to expose you to a project that I consider to be a true treasure. The M-coin network is developing a dependable cloud data storage system that promises low costs and data protection for users. Please use the resources below to familiarize yourself with this new project.

I lost my best friend who decided to stop working in cryptocurrencies because what he believed was that cryptocurrency was haram according to his beliefs. I was very close to him but we had to separate, even after he wasn't with me. I'm less enthusiastic about learning cryptocurrency. This was my bad experience.
What do you mean by losing a friend? Was the loss because he was completely unheard of? If so, I don't think it's wise to split up because of differences of opinion about cryptocurrencies. You must maintain your friendship even though there are differences, in fact differences should make you even closer.
But if you just lose a partner in cryptocurrency, it's a natural thing. Indeed sometimes there is a feeling that is lacking if we lose something that is everyday together. But don't let your enthusiasm diminish because of it.

This is a common experience with everyone here I believe so. And it hurts when that happens. Losing your profit because of greed of not taking profit at the right time is something that every trader and investor will continue to experience. This is my worse mistake so far if that will count as one. I have been lucky so far on other bad sides.

One of my worst experience in crypto space are not trying to find review of exchanges I intend to make a deposit or not paying attention to fees, minimum trading and withdrawal amounts. At the beginning of my acquaintance I used to deposit my bounty rewards to exchange and not be able to withdraw them or trade, as their values were lower than minimum. Hundreds dollar worth crypto hung on exchange wallets. $10 here, $5 there, a bit there and etc... And I've lost even more from making a deposit and never getting funds on my exchange balance. Last time I got caught with that was VinDAX. Made a deposit while token was on a pump, months has passed already, but I never got my tokens.

Regret selling coins at a low price, just because it was eaten by FUD and it hurts. I'd rather lose my assets because of my own analysis, than lose it in the way I mentioned earlier.
Here I really realized that in the world of cryptocurrency we should not trust people's words, especially for no apparent reason.
Although the nominal is relatively small, but it makes me unable to sleep.

Back during the previous ATH everyone have got similar experience of missing a big opportunity to make money exiting at the right time. Myself has similar experience of losing around $20k worth tokens which on later years turned around $900. By those days I wasn't that aware of the market as well as I never believed on such growth. When sudden growth happened I wasn't able to do anything, and just left to grow further. This is not out of greed, but out of hope. To my expectations things went against my prediction.

A kind of experienced that you will always carry each time you invest your money, it's not something that

will happen a lot of times, if you missed the train the next ride might take longer. You said it's not because of

greed but more on mistakes with your own assessment, many similar cases happen around and there are

investors who can agree with that, it's always good to accept that failure and use it as a learning patterns

for much better business.

Within the years I have so many bad experience with crytocurrency but the worst I ever had was selling my one of tokens for only sixty-eight dollars and just after a few weeks the price of what I sold rises to almost four thousand dollars.I highly regretted letting my coins go at that time but It also taught me a lesson of holding coins with great p nootential for a longer period of time.
Bad experiences are learning curves or stones for us to learn on how thing works because if you dont then you would really be not become a good trader/investor. In numbers of bad experiences then I do have lots

which it do almost end up on quitting on this market because it is way too unpredictable but if you do realize on how it do works and be wise then you could at least hang on and able to deal with it.

Just move on and try to be sustainable and able to survive because this isnt something that could be handled well.

My worst experience is forgot my private key and json file and stupid me i don't back up my important file in email. But after this case, i becoming be more carefull about all of my investment stuff.
Was it a MEW wallet? Lol, same experience but it did not hurt me a lot since I don't have a decent amount in the certain wallet. But good to hear that you learn from your experience, we just have to be more careful next time as we are dealing with money here. I never thought of sending it to an email, that sounds safe but the json file only, now the private key or password.

That is primarily the issue with using a private key, which MEW does not recommend because you may misplace it or fail to save it. The best is a hardware wallet like trezor, which is very safe, but for those who cannot afford it, we should store it in a safe place, such as having it in your drive in PC, in your email, in your flash drive, and also in Google Keep, which is what I usually do in case I lose one so I still have a backup even though all of my wallets have no money but in case I really need it haha.

The worst-case was to lose seed written recovery paper on another country that I visited for few days. Later I had to transfer the coins to another cold storage and restore the first one. Imagine someone found it and spend my hard-earned coin in a few minutes, so scary.. Roll Eyes

In the beginning, I opened an account at Bittrex, at that time I had no idea about cryptocurrency. I normally created an account with a random name and later I deposited some dollars in that account for trading. But after one year, they asked all users to verify the KYC. Since I opened the account with a random name, they didn't accept my real identity to verify the account. They froze my account as I could not provide any KYC for that random name. I had a few thousand dollars deposit there.
Damn, a similar experience has happened on my trading journey too. Opening a random account on some weird exchange to trade small volume tokens and they kept asking the personal documents to verify the account. Ofc, I sacrificed my tokens for protecting my personal data, documents. It doesn't worth giving away your personal data just because someone asks to verify an account on an unknown small crypto exchange. Providing data to third parties carries some risks and I don't want to see my documents sold on Dark Web..
