600$ lost in 5 seconds when I misclicked a trade. It was a year ago, and I still punch myself because of it.
surely all have good or bad experiences in crypto. I also feel the same way, at the beginning of entering crypto in 2017 I had a pretty good start by participating in the Ebtc airdrop and starting to continue to follow the bounty and quite a number of projects that I participated in and the experience I experienced must also be experienced by other bounty hunters, scams worst project and unforgettable experience when my wallet was hacked and lost valuable coins.
My worst experience was shorting bitcoin at the wrong time. The halving happened and I had speculating on bitcoin rising a year after so, I decided to short bitcoin, thinking I would buy in before the bitcoin rise since the previous halving happened at some specific time. Little did I know that there was Elon musk shilling bitcoin, the rest was history!
The worst experience for me is when I received an airdrop whose values increased to 1000% but too late for me to sell my shares the value went down to zero, I lose a few hundred because of my mistake of not following coins that I'm holding, so it's very important to check the news on the coins you are holding before you find it too late.
In fact airdrops are not good they are mostly scams and do contain personal information via kyc newcomers are more vulnerable. They greedily invest in airdrops to make more profit and lose everything later so it is better to stay away from these sites bitcoin is reliable and does not need to be checked if you hold a currency like ethereum.
The 2017 panic sell that most of us experienced was my worst experience. But I have since learned from it and now holding Bitcoin. 
I also have such stories. May be every one at the starting face off all this situation . My biggest worst experience is to loss my $1700 because of my knowledge of right time . Still I am holding this but it's price is now only $200 . Even I have lost all my $doller from my wallet. Someone steal those. But these are pathatic althoug I m on my way
That's a lot of loss that you've made but you're not alone, I've got also had my horrible experiences when I was still not that much fond of how to react during market dips and highs. And when you've been stolen by someone, I guess you've become a victim of a phishing site that you haven't noticed that you have visited and input your keys.
That is why it is important for us not to be greedy and we know to be contented for things that we already gain. If you already gain x3 - x4 then that should be enough because always remember that coin just got hype because it is still new so grab it if you already gain because once the hype has gone it will drop out right away.
Correction will happen along the way and if greed takes your focus away you'll see yourself
regretting with mistake that you'll going to commit, lots of times traders and investors allows
greed to control them, instead of enjoying with decent profits, they choose to hold and hope to
see more, and what happened next, they'll just see nothing but losing their hard earned money .
There is no shortage of bad experiences in cryptocurrency, no one can be found who has not had any bad experience in cryptocurrency. I am sharing my bad little experience with you. Beginning in 2020 On the side I sell my 100 binance coins for only $ 10 per coin. Whose market value is now above $ 30,000.
so there have been various misfortunes with crypto among the various scams and the various losses 2 are those that i particularly remember not having sold minexcoin at $ 22 and not having sold edo at $ 6 suffering an almost total loss of investments, i would also add not having bought eth when it was $ 100
if we talking about our mistake not joining in some good project at early stage , maybe we could not count it. Personally i am also have big mistake when get alot ADA, Binance and also VIDY at cheap price when it crash at early pandemic but i am panic when someone give his opinion about market future. I know all of us have big mistake , but as good investors we have to take this is as important lesson so in future we got profits to cover our mistake. I think 2018 - 2020 is the darkest time where many coins fall into the black hole, it's dark like there is no light at all, but now everything has improved even there are lots of pumps in various coins, hopefully we can feel success today and beyond.

I wanna share my sad story of investing in crypto in 2017-2018, i've been trough a lot of scams from fake cloud mining, fake lending programs, fake staking programs, and also investing a coin that experienced 80% drops in a day. For people who experienced those kind of scam nowdays, don't stop exploring cryptocurrency world, there are still more profitable chance that you could get, you just have to be careful and wise for investing your money
our bad experience will help us to improve our knowledge and any skill to earn money in forum or crypto market. TThere are alot ways to scamm our money ,and by learn everything from our mistake in the past we could avoid it if we see it in future. And i am totally agree , our faith and spirit will give us another power to get success from crypto market. Loss in an obligation for beginer but profits i a must for us. 
Here i am going to discussed worst cases. Because lot of people adopting to Crypto space and some getting more and some ended up with nothing.

My worst experience was Not exit at the correct time. there was a ICO it gave me 10X. (6500USD) but i did not exit at the correct time so it went for 400usd.
I sent ETH to unknown escrow. 200$ lost. scammers
Not aware of USDT. Its a very bad experience.
Not concern about Technical analysis.
so today i have massive experience so i know how to play the game. Lets share experiences so enrich newbies knowledge.

Yes back in 2017 so many scam and ICO mania become the biggest ponzi scheme like tulip fever. Its no different with this year which many moon and dog coin that launch which promise you to get a profit by doing it together. I think most people never learn and think crypto as a way to get a fast money and they do trying the luck that they have and i do think its completly wrong and a flaw in crypto investors. My experience in 2017 is worst like yours, i lose almost 80% of my asset but luckily i manage to get a lot profit from coin that i hold. back 2017 i have no experience and new so some execution not got timely.

I participated in looking good project. Promoted them for 7 days. So I expected high reward as they promised to send it into us. 3 months after waiting they didn't pay us. In fact they said bounties didn't help their project to success. The result no payment. I'm so very disappointed because I expect reward for my hard work but no payment.

I have a great story. My brother was farming and stealing Cake coins even when they first appeared. As a result, he sent them to his friend, but in the clipboard he had a wallet of another network and thus he sent the coins to who knows where, which led to their destruction. What is most surprising is the amount that my brother lost, it was equal to $ 40,000. Agree for a guy at the age of 22, this would be just a wonderful financial pillow.

I have a most worst experience over trading or holding my cryptos, it’s may 2020, i was got some handsome amount of cryptocurrency it’s was jrt and unfortunately i was sold it only for 0.01$ per tokens and unfortunately my bad luck after 1 month it’s was rise like a giant and value was per coin after 1 month my sold tokens values rise about 30x 0.30$ per tokens!
Saving a lot of document places that we have is also a risk in my opinion, because someone easily accessing the devices we have will have fatal consequences for the documents we have. even friends sometimes steal it. be careful with saving documents for bitcointalk and trading purposes
Worries about storing important documents on your device because they could be stolen by friends or virus software without you knowing is installed automatically when you visit unrecommended sites. Maybe for a simple solution, you can save the file in .rar extension with password security installed and hide the .rar file in a folder that is rarely known to others. 
My worst experience is forgot my private key and json file and stupid me i don't back up my important file in email. But after this case, i becoming be more carefull about all of my investment stuff.
it give us great lesson why every document from cryptocurrency market have to back up in safe place and not in single place,we must store it in several place. Its true experience teaches us many lessons. In the starting, we all make many mistakes because of a lack of experience. I also started Crypto in the year 2017 I also had several coins that rises beyond my expectations but I hold it and expecting more profit but things happen opposite to my expectations. Due to greed, I lost huge money of my profit that I can book If I exit at the right time but this is what I said the experience I gain that will help me in the future to decide when to exit.

My worst experience in crypto was, that I bought 1000 ETH for around $0.3 back in 2014/2015 and almost completely sold it for $2.1 
I thought at the time, the price has increased sevenfold, it can not go further up. Well, as we know today, I was way off the mark. With today's prices, you can no longer imagine that, but back then it was really like that.
