almost everyone has experienced bad things especially for beginners, in my opinion it is very reasonable and after that there will be a lot of good learning for the future. My worst experience in the past was when I saw the market price all the time causing panic when my assets continued to fall until I often did stupid things with stop losses until I finally regretted it. because of that bad thing I'm currently learning a lot and getting better at trading.

The worst experience I had in crypto was when my cellphone died completely where my cellphone stored the private key of my eos wallet, I lost quite a lot of money for me because that was my savings from the bounty results using the eos wallet, this taught me a lesson in the future by saving PK all my wallets in 3 places, I even print them so they don't lose again
this is also an experience for me to back up all important files. then if there is a disturbance like yours later we will not lose all the assets owned. different from you, I had a bad experience, at the beginning of the year I sold ethereum from the bounty savings, because after that the price soared to this day and if I exchanged it now, maybe I have made a lot of profit

There can be nothing worse than losing your coins in a scam project. And in my case that happened in 2013, when I had dozens of BTC in my wallet. Lost around 60% of the total holdings to the scam. Back then I was relatively new to cryptocurrency and trusted a few guys who were not trustworthy. And as a result I am still forced to continue with my full-time job. If I had all those coins, then in all probability I would have retired from my full time job and purchased a private island along with a couple of luxury yachts.

I think my worst experience was back in 2018 I mistakenly sent $1600 bitcoin to a wrong address…. Was a really long week …. I was supposed to send bitcoin to a newbie and I thought i had explained well enough, only for him to send me a wrong wallet address but thankfully it was on coinomi and the admin helped get the bitcoin back

My worst experience is selling off my hex coins thinking it is one of the many shits coins in my portfolio only for it to be worth a fortune now. I bought 30,000 hex tokens through the pre-sale stage and at the beginning, the coin was underperforming so I decide to sell them off when the price reached 0.005 cents and in a year now hex coin is presently selling for 0.45 this thought me a big lesson.

Here i am going to discussed worst cases. Because lot of people adopting to Crypto space and some getting more and some ended up with nothing.

back 2017 i have no experience and new so some execution not got timely.

My worst experience was Not exit at the correct time. there was a ICO it gave me 10X.  (6500USD) but i did not exit at the correct time so it went for 400usd.

I sent ETH to unknown escrow. 200$ lost. scammers

Not aware of USDT. Its a very bad experience.

Not concern about Technical analysis.

so today i have massive experience so i know how to play the game. Lets share experiences so enrich newbies knowledge.

Cheers

You only tell about the losses you get due to lack of experience in ICO investment. While you do not share the methods you should do to avoid losses. How can someone get knowledge from the story you write. Many ICO investments in 2017 suffered losses, because most of the projects launched ended in scams. However, in 2021 crypto investments can already be made on an exchange, or what is called an IEO. This means that investors' courage in entrusting their assets to certain exchanges is higher than before. In addition, we can also invest in projects managed by a trusted team and BM, so that the success rate is higher.

Given all the terrible boys around town, my worst situation is simply about the authenticity and for how long. To be on the safe zone, start small today and raise if the yields are good. That is the law of the game to be prosperous!!

It's important to highlight that we learn from the past and strive to avoid repeating them. The unpleasant situations, on the other hand, made one a better bitcoin investor.

Whenever you fail, don't give up easy; instead, continue attempting.Losers would never win, and quitters will never quit. Let's keep moving forward, and eventually we'll strike huge CASH.

Crypto bad experience when i start particapiting bounties most of them failed to pay via token or if theres a token it goes into shitcoins. Attending bounties is not easy you need to spend time example in signatures, social medias and many more category. Even though you didnt put up any money but spending work and time is the investment.

my worst experience happened some time ago because of losing 0.01 BTC, you can see my previous post https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/is-hitbtc-bad-exchange-5357582 and for the second one is not to exit the market at the right time because at that time I was too believe and do not realize the risk

The very sad thing that I did myself at that time was a big and fatal mistake, namely an error in sending 0xxx or wallet addresses when filling out a list of forms to join a signature project, so I lost a lot of coins from my wallet address

bad things happen because new to crypto with no experience and know little, invest straight away. this happened to me a few years ago. I do not divide my finances for urgent situations and for long-term investments. I invested everything and what happened I panicked because the price of Etherum went down and I really needed the money. in the end I had to be prepared to lose $530.

Awts, but the same with your sentiments, that's how most investors losses their money. They just jump right away because of the fomo's and not to educate themselves before doing such actions.

Panic is the worse enemy inside any trading business, if you don't know or if you don't have any ideas with the assets that you are using.

Expect that you'll be shaken once the value falls down. Take your time to investigate and deal with your deeper research, that's how things should be done. Learn from your past mistakes and try to correct it by not doing the same thing over and over.

In the beginning, I opened an account at Bittrex, at that time I had no idea about cryptocurrency. I normally created an account with a random name and later I deposited some dollars in that account for trading. But after one year, they asked all users to verify the KYC. Since I opened the account with a random name, they didn't accept my real identity to verify the account. They froze my account as I could not provide any KYC for that random name. I had a few thousand dollars deposit there.

I also recommend never storing data username and password in the browser that we use, it's better to save it in a file where only we know the location and don't be easily attracted by profit offers that require us to provide important data that we have.
Only you can protect your data. There is no way i am going to store my wallet passwords in browser cache and expect everything to be fine even if do not visit malicious websites.

The worst is falling prey to scammers when you are involved in the altcoin market of a project and still we can see many falling for frauds as they contact people disguising as customer support representatives if we have any issues or doubts and people give away their private keys to these random scammers and that is still going on and i have no idea when people will understand the basic.

The most painful thing is what I'm going through right now. When I deposit to an exchange, but the exchange does not credit our deposit on the account. That exchange is a scam, stealing customers' money. Be careful of all of you. I lost almost $5000 recently. Even more so because the coin I intend to sell the price is getting up. You better trade on exchanges that have a good reputation.
it would be better if you mention that exchanger, so others can avoid that exchanger.
we shouldn't deposit our money into a new exchanger that have no trust from people. there are so many scam project that have a goal to make an exchanger. but in the end, they just want to scam. i don't know why people still use a new exchanger while there are a lot of big and trusted exchanger have existed.
It could help but maybe he doesn't want to accuse the exchange without enough supporting documents, otherwise, it's formal if he will make a scam accusation report so everyone can see. Losing $5000 is very painful especially in times of pandemic, that's already a huge amount of money that could help us to ease our financial problems this time.

Fake exchanges have sabotaged the price of coins to be higher than the average price on other exchanges, because victims feel they are benefiting from arbitrage so deposit to the exchange in hopes of instant profits, the exchange does not credit you the deposit because the balance is in the scammer' wallet. Beware that fake arbitrage signals also spread within the telegram spammer group.

I really haven't had a very bad experience in the crypto world, I've only ever lost because I released my tokens at a price that was just dropping. so never play on an exchange that is not well known if you don't want to take the risk. just wait for the right time.
