True. Actually this have been circulating here. On how we can get more exposure. Maybe someone should make a thread for us to share on how we can make bitcoin exposed to the people who are not yet involved in this kind of currency.

I don't think that that is the reason people aren't using Bitcoin. There are many other reasons.

yup! that is one reason and most of the time that is not the big reason, I think knowledge is needed for people to realized what is the use of bitcoin and how to earn it!

My friend used bitcoin about 2 years ago and for nowadays he vacuum use bitcoin. He didn't tell me details about how he stopped use bitcoin anymore. But I'm sure he made something wrong and get vacuum.

maybe she experienced bankruptcy or have difficulty in getting free bitcoin.
I think to this end no matter that weight of bitcoin so that people will stop using bitcoin

one of my friends bought a bitcoin one years ago or something, he play on PD and he lost 0.7, after that he sold to me the 0.30 and stopped whit bitcoin, I call it a brusque approach Cheesy

It doesn't affects to the person who is interested to join but to those who are kerning about it but are not sure to some extent and to those who have fear of their assets being worth to something of no value in near future.The stability plays a very huge role.

People are eager to earn but what they expect is sudden growth which is possible only at certain level. This can't be accepted by the people those activities or mind set keeps people away from bitcoin. They don't understand that it is hard to earn and unable to face loss, only they need is profit at every situation, no matter whats going on in the market.

but it is more an issue of security of their assets. both securing the bitcoin itself and also securing the value of it which is out of their hands because of the high volatility of the market. so using bitcoin as a currency becomes that much harder.

Because you're asking the wrong question. The question isn't "whats stopping people from using bitcoin?". The question is, "why should people use bitcoin?"

Right now, I don't have a car. If I walk for an hour in any direction from where I live, there isn't a single store that accepts bitcoin. Why should I use bitcoin?

Right now there's absolutely no benefit for the average person to use bitcoin over what they currently have. It's just another thing they have to learn and spend huge amounts of time and effort signing up for various services, pay for wire transfers to exchanges, etc. A lot of work, and absolutely no benefit. In fact, it's less useful than normal payment methods, since it's accepted in a lot less places.

Why should people use bitcoin? If there's no practical answer to that for the average person, they won't use it.

I think you hit the nail on the head here. Why bother with bitcoin when there are so many other "useful" payment methods? It seems that the most valuable aspect of bitcoin is its pseudo anonymity which makes it easier to bounce money around without regulation. However, what types of markets are attracted to that feature? It begs the question: Who REALLY uses bitcoin and why? Mama certainly doesn't need it for her new pair of shoes, does she?

I sometimes feel the technical issues are stopping people to use bitcoins, like recently a friend of mine, he got scammed due to unconfirmed bitcoin transaction sent by a dude who was there to scam, so maybe that!
