What is stopping people from using it is that the bitcoin is unpredictable, not stable and has a bad name because of the media that is talking bad about it these days.
The stability of the value is the key point. I would really love to make BTC known to all. Of course one of the aims of this forum would be a source to. People who know BTC is less than who do not know it. More awareness would make more usage of BTC I believe.
People are stop using Bitcoin because of the fact that it can be stable sometimes and people just do not like waiting a ling time before they make some money with it.

I don't think few losses will make people to stop using bitcoin as people who have faith in bitcoin are well aware that they can recover their loss in future when price will rise again.

Volatility has advantage too, you can profit when you use it in trading. How it became a technology bias? Anonymity in transaction is good to avoid being watch in every action you make in your money.
Adaptability, well kind of, some people just want to stay the same and dont want to move forward.

I dont agree with you, this is not the reason of people from not using bitcoin, as per my view most of them are worried with the legal issues with bitcoin uses in real life as in most country still bitcoin is not considered as legal and if you use and get caught then you will get legal problems.

Yeah definitely the case right now. Who would want to worry about a thing called bitcoin when they don't even have sufficient nutrients to keep them alive on a daily basis? When they have no access to savings or credit?
We should promote bitcoin via a charity campaign IMO, to get exposure to third world countries.

Yes that's the main reason why people stops from using bitcoin, is they don't know what bitcoin really is. But once someone explain to them the convenience of using bitcoin and other information like how to get it, how to use it.
For sure, they are going to start using bitcoin.
I think there are a couple of things keeping the average joe from using bitcoin:
- It's too difficult/technical
- It's gets associated with drugs and terrorism
- Some people think it's a scam or a ponzi
- People don't like change
I think only old people who say that bitcoin is difficult to use. I did not experience any problems with it. because it would be difficult to tell the parents, because bitcoin for the latest generation #imo - It's too difficult/technical
