When the price of bitcoin become $1 or less, i'm sure people will leave and stop using bitcoin anymore. The price of bitcoin is really matter for bitcoin user.
I just got back from a conference where one of the topics was blockchain and crypto usability. The conclusion is that crypto s still too complicated to be used by ordinary people since most of users are IT guys and geeks. This is correct. It would be 2 weeks to teach my parents to use crypto easily and safely.

I've actually noticed that too, once i was trying to tell someone if how he can start using bitcoin and joining this forum for getting information about it, and he actually had no much knowledge about IT and i found it quite hard to explain it to him, telling him about creating a wallet, using faucets etc, so basically it is still really hard to make ordinary people understand about the complicated use of bitcoin.
Well me either, because IT people can just get into the trend of technology easily. But for those people who aren't IT. Well they are having hard time to adopt the trend of technologies. But they must still be educated about it, and even they aren't an IT if they want to use bitcoin , they will.
But they are maybe reasoning it because they are just lazy I guess.

Well the fact that IT people can just easily understand it but for an ordinary people of course it will be very difficult for them.
So you are right, crypto currency is not easily to learn if people are not an IT, but even they aren't IT if they can easily cope up, then that's way better.

In my opinion, propaganda on the media and communication with the crime just stops people from using Bitcoins. And also perhaps a lack information + psychological factor, namely the habit of living in the old order and the usual reluctance to move forward into the future. This applies to the older generation.
Well media really has a factor in making something popular or make it humiliate just like making a bad news for for something media wants to destory the reputation of an individual or something. Just why media really has a big factor why people stops using bitcoin.

People do remember bitcoin price were at 1000 dollars ,and the same way they exposed it then they made the same when the price went to 200 dollars soo i believe this is the main reason and the others is the image connected to dark marketplaces.
Maybe that's one of the reason that people stops in using bitcoin, maybe they just don't feel the value of bitcoin against dollar. But you are right, for sure people will remember it and go back to bitcoin easily and going to use it once it reaches $1,000.

I guess people are afraid that they will get caught in possession of bitcoins. They seem to have the impression that bitcoin is illegal. I have no idea how they get that impression, but it does happen.
I think it's because the dark net associations with bitcoin. But seriously, if they don't use it for illegal stuff, then they're fine.
It's not very difficult to answer this question. People still do not have the habit of using digital processes for transactions with money. But this is changing gradually. It is a path with no return.
Although bitcoin is more popular now, still many people are not using computer or should i say didnt know how to use it. not everyone are fortunate to have a gadgets that can be use for surfing online.

this will happen when most of the world get electricity and internet connection to be able to use these digital money. and after giving them the power, they need to be taught how to use it
i think their ignorance is the biggest wall for them not wanting to accept bitcoin, people always fear what they don't know, it's the same with bitcoin imho

Didn't you just post this on a different thread?Yup. You just did and I even checked your account activity posts to verify it. We get that you want us to know that Paypal is trying to build a platform that accepts bitcoin payments but you don't really have to spam it you know. As what I've said, there's already a seperate thread about this created a few weeks ago.

I think that people are just scared to try something new, it's similar to joining new company or community, you are feeling weird and not comfortable at the beggining.
Maybe the lack of informations.. But mainly bloody ignorance. Many whom I tryed to explain about Bitcoin they imideatly say that they like cash (don`t want to hear about 'virtual money') but when you study theyr habbits you see that they barely use cash (they use almoust all of the time CC (wich is 'virtual money'))
CC isn't virtual money in form since you will pay for it after. In bitcoin as virtual currency, the payment was reel time since bitcoin itself is the money.
Yes lack of information is one of the factor because if they will go on to a pure research they will know what bitcoin is capable of.
They think that it is not reliable because it is virtual currency and it is not regulated by the government thats all I can say about now because still fiat is in the upper hand when we use it without hassle and not too many site using bitcoin when compared on fiat.
