Train everybody to be a cop, and there will be no crooks around anymore, and we will have an army ready to go all the time.

That's already been done before. I believe it was known as the Third Reich. But you already knew that.

It's easy to advocate for tight policing when you're not a victim to their profiling.

If the Third Reich thing were true as you stated, there wouldn't have been any concentration camps. Sounds like you are part of the group who wants to subject some people to enslavement.

Cool

I'm confused by the way you worded your statement. Are you implying that there wasn't a Third Reich? Or are you claiming that there weren't any concentration camps? Either way, it sounds very Alex Jonesy to me.

Gun is made to kill but on the other thought gun is made to protect someone or to protect the integrity of your republic. So for me cops who is well trained is the only one who can use gun to avoid barbaric situation. Because in this world there is only one life. Therefore it must be worthful.

I believe in the US the 2nd amendment can help keep a Govt. In check. Part of the checks and balance systems our founding fathers put in place.
Gun control only affects law abiding citizens. The criminals who use illegally imported guns or stolen guns are not going to care. Making more criminal background checks or requiring more ID won't stop the criminals or even make it harder for them. Only law abiding citizens will have more trouble acquiring firearms.
I think most people fear guns because they haven't been properly taught how to use or handle them. But they are just a machine that only does what you make it do. I think we should invest in gun education and teach the gun safety rules vs more gun control laws.

The issue of the guns already present can be solved with a one or two-decade long buyback program by the government. Of course that would cost a lot of money, but this could still be economic IF it's proven that the removal of guns would significantly lower violent crime (a claim that doesn't have sufficient evidence).
In the end, I think we can both agree that the more effective solution is a treatment of the roots of crime itself, such as education and poverty, which if resolved sufficiently, I think, would render the gun debate unnecessary in the first place. I also agree with you on the necessity for firearm safety protocols for avoiding tragic firearm accidents

Everyone should be able to carry as long as they don't have mental illness or are a criminal.

Its proven that you are safer if you carry a gun, you can prevent crimes.

You can't know if a person will be criminal in near future
Gun control should't be allowed in any country

O.K. I'll add my 2 cents worth.  Why haven't we banned automobiles?  Or at the very least why haven't we changed the speed limit to 10 miles an hour so no one gets hurt in a crash?  Way more people die on our nations highways and roads via automobile accidents then are killed by guns.  So I would think we would want to address the bigger killer of people first before we worry about something that percentagewise kills far less people a year.  Just my random thoughts on the subject.  Guns are not the problem.  People that use guns incorrectly are.  And in my opinion you're never going to control that factor.  Not completely.  I say an armed society is a polite society and I'm all for everyone that wants to own a gun being able to own one.  I realize there may be some people who probably shouldn't have a gun but I tend to get very concerned when you start making all these rules about who can and cannot have one.

Yes!

And what about the medical? People go into a hospital for some minor thing, and die because they caught some disease spreading through the hospital. But the medical tries to cover it up. And then there's the hundreds of thousands who die every year from accidental mis-treatment or accidental mis-diagnosis. And anybody can see (if he puts his thinking cap on, steps back for a moment, and takes a look) that radiation and chemo kill cancer patients way more than the cancer does. And you can't listen to medical statistics about this stuff, because the medical lies to cover it up.

Medical is way more dangerous than guns. Ban medical, and enforce it with guns.

Now that the London allows armed police force to carry guns it is becoming a common sight to see guns around.
USA their citizens carry guns so I won't be surprised if they start to let citizens in the UK to legally carry guns as well.

That would be really bad in my opinion if UK citizens could carry weapons. We should have international gun laws for every country the same. Weapons should only be allowed for the police and military, not for citizens. Everybody who wants to shoot should have the opportunity to go to a shooting range and shoot under supervision.

Well guns are also business I don't think that is not going to be called as 'freedom' only if the police and military unit are the allowed ones to carry guns. But I do agree with it, I'm just thinking that there are certain group of 'human rights' that are going to protest that it is against their right to prohibit them to carry even they could afford.

Yeah let everyone carrying guns ! It works well! That's why USA gets much less crimes than Europe!  Oh wait...

Why would you think that everyone carrying guns has anything to do with less crime in the USA? Relatively few people in the USA carry guns on a regular basis. Many own guns. But few carry. And that is the problem. Let the average, honest people on the street be the judge and jury against the criminal, right on the spot. It isn't the average, honest people on the street that are bad. It is the people who are trying to take away the right to own and use private property, guns or anything else.

Actually, everyone in the world carrying guns all the time in public would solve the world's problems. Why? Because governments would become so small and scared, that people could go on their way and live life. As it is, lack of guns among common people makes them fearful of government, and they can't live freely and prosperously.
