I agree. The government should give people new rights and opportunities. To deprive the rights it can't. Fought for it for generations.

The weapon is a symbol of America. I think that will not work to restrict access to arms. Only people quarreled among themselves.

Why is this symbol of American weapons? I believe that it should be sold only with government permission. It is only appropriate for people

In the USA the government is supposed to exist by permission of the people, not vice versa. The Bill of Rights does not grant people rights, but is a list of rights that the government can not infringe upon specifically.

I also believe that the responsibility for violation of rules of storage of weapons should be. Children should not have access to weapons.

I think we need full background checks and because having guns is a right all gun owners have responsibilities if your weapon is used in a crime and was not secured or a child gets a hold of it because of negligence you should be held responsible also the clips that hold massive amounts of ammunition need to be banned

To fight only with illegal weapons. If you fight with all weapons it will take in an illegal. Then it will be even worse. The passion of the people to arms invincible.

Man can kill with a stick. So, now sticks to deny. If you take the statistics that the majority of murders committed with a knife.Maybe ban knives?

I think an adult person should have the right to have a gun if that person can successfully pass some tests on mental health. And in the case that person is caught doing anything illegal or showing mental unstability the gun should be confiscated immediately.

I don't have a gun and I'm not going to, but I think free people should have the right to have it.

Free people don't have to prove that wanting to exercise their human right to self-defense isn't a mental illness.

Sorry, if I didn't make myself clear, but I didn't mean that the willing to have a gun to protect yourself can be somehow interpreted as a mental illness. I was just saying that only people in their right mind should be allowed to have guns. I think it's an obvious thing, we don't want armed lunatics on our streets.

But who is going to allow them? Government? Government are the people who are NOT in their right mind, or there wouldn't be any gun control issue.

Cool

Government are the people who we are voting for. At least in democratic countries things are more or less like that. Of course I know that some of them are not in their right mind, but it is scary to believe that all of them are mad, right? Smiley So we better make them to decide what is better for us. )

From https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.16709818 regarding the Bundy win at https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.16705981:
Quote
In America, Presidential elections depend on on the electoral college... not the popular vote of the people. If Trump doesn't win enough of the electoral college votes, he will lose, no matter how many people vote for him.

If Trump loses when he has a great majority of the popular vote, but less than a majority of the electoral college vote, is for people to sue their local electoral college delegates for voting wrong.

Cool

Guns are made for one purpose, and that purpose is to kill.
I believe that guns are not weapons, they are tools. How they are used is up to the person holding it.
Guns are especially dangerous in the hands of people who don't know how to use them (i.e., kids and teenagers) as well as those who are mentally ill and/or have a temper problem.
Gun control will not stop violence because a violent person doesn’t need a gun to be violent.
After the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, support for gun control increased dramatically.

Generally in America, the support for gun control has outweighed the support for gun rights.
Are gun control laws constitutional?
What would be your ideal set of laws regarding firearms?

I do agree that guns are made for one purpose which is to kill. Kill with purpose it can be self defense or intention. If we're going to do this just for the sake of killing people you should be aware as well that it can take ur own life as well. Before holding a gun you should be fully trained and be aware of the future consequences.

Target practice.    Cool

I have the pistol and assault rifle. But I'm not going to shoot people. And to my house no one goes in. What's wrong with that?

That's the way it should be! Please post "No Trespassing" signs at the doors and windows so that people are warned in a fair way. Then, if they enter without being invited, shoot 'em dead. Just be careful that it isn't a family member.

Cool
This is especially necessary to also sign on the door to the villain saving his life knowing where to go to plunder, and where not? Let him think first before doing evil.

This approach puts people at a disadvantage.Someone can protect themselves with weapons, and some don't. It is not correct.

Right! Let the rest of the people arm themselves.    Cool

And I believe that guns do not kill, people kill. You can't restrict people. You need someone that will always find guns, but law-abiding citizens will be unarmed.

And how many such cases? They all say, but there are no official statistics. Without numbers it's just words. I don't believe them.
