I'm consistently putting small amounts into ETH and LTC as a kind of emergency fund that likes to grow.  When, exactly, do you guys think that the recent surge in BTC will result in a "catch up" surge in ETH and LTC?

maybe today is the day when Eth and ltc growing together with bitcoin
because both altcoins are rising now, and i hope this green price movements will continues to eth and ltc until the end of this year Wink
Price of bitcoin already over $7000 which made the price growth on the other coins as well so you had little more time to invest on ethereum and litecoin so if you didn't buy yet then this is the last opportunity.

Looks like bump on ethereum also started now,on some exchanges the price of ETH grown as 10% more in the last 24 hours which is high value when compared to the previous days. For litecoin it is 20% growth seems they are catching up.

Ethereum can beat bitcoin as I think and they can compete to the bitcoin someday even now but for now bitcoin is remain king.
Litecoin is potential and that's my top 3 altcoins for me right now but I don't think it can catch up bitcoin but maybe someday it will achieve that if litecoin have more investors coming. Litecoin, bitcoin and ethereum is good for your money .
I still think no matter what happen in the future ETH and LTC will never be able to catchup with BTC because BTC is a great asset worthy for long term holding but ETH and LTC are just altcoins so it is hard to get more attentions of other investors, i believe not any altcoins can defeat BTC unless BTC goes down by its own and let younger altcoins take its place.

Nope, it's way too far to Bitcoin at their current state right now, they can't even make a move without following the trend of Bitcoin. If they are independent of the price of Bitcoin and can make growth even if Bitcoin is in the bearish trend. That, i think they may have the chance to compete Bitcoin but for now, i don't see any progress.

If you mean catch up the price of bitcoin or to reach over, well nope it will not happen, but ETH and LTC can pump the price at least.
In the history of cryptocurrency, I dot thin there is any coin that has ever dominated BTC, I know they are all new and still developing, but as they are developing, so is bitcoin too developing rapidly. I have even noticed that several time, anytime BTC rises, most of these altcoins at the top also rises along with Bitcoin, which means a part of them still depend on the increase in BTC.

If that is them the case, there is no way they can meet up, because the percentage increase of BTC will always be higher, it is only during altcoins season that they all have the tendency to really grow very high, while bitcoin remains redundant, but they can still not catch up.

Never use the word EXACTLY in this forum specially when you are asking about speculation because never or none of this will be answered
No accurate answer in this profiteering so what we need to do is wait and hope that there will be favorable things to happen

I don't think Litecoin will ever catch up with Bitcoin. Litecoin is just more recognized version of other coins alternative to Bitcoin like Bitcoin Cash etc. But, in the future Ethereum will probably have a market cap closer to that of BTC.

Ethereum certainly has the opportunity to catch up with bitcoin, of course not in a short time, it takes at least 3 years from now, this is because ethereum is a coin that is supported by many devs. so that it can make ethereum use continue to increase.

maybe someday it can happen, but too far to chase the btc price, it takes a long time and of course requires a large investor on both coins. I think that LTC and ETH are still many investors who are interested in these coins without having to be equal to BTC

if in my opinion eth and LTC to pursue the price of bitcoin requires a long time because with the number of supplies between bitcoin and eth, ltc is very different, so we must be patient to wait between the next three years

Yes, but usually bitcoin has to wait for correction after bitcoin rises, only after that altcoin starts to soar after bitcoin.

I do, but it looks like you are a new adopters of crypto right? have you seen the old chart and that should be 2017 chart and the price of anyother coins will grow after bitcoin has down with its pump. Price of ethereum and litecoin will follow the surge that happens on the bitcoin price after it has stopped.
This pattern was repeating so many times and it's so easy to know where will be the direction of crypto.

That's right bro, like when this happened. Yesterday bitcoin went up but altcoins tend to run where there is no movement, but when bitcoin corrects, that's when altcoin starts chasing bitcoin like today.

Happy trading for today, today is so beautiful when you see the green market haha

ETH and LTC are clearly impressive altcoins ever since they existed. They had a good team around them. But if we are going to talk about ETH and LTC catching up to bitcoin, I think it will take a lot of time. If Ethereum and LTC are going to the moon, Bitcoin will probably go to other galaxies. BTC needs to choke hard to get down to the level of the two.

maybe soon enough and as soon as possible, I see on both of these coins the development is very good. but if the price of ethereum and litecoin is told above the price of the bitcoin will not be able to because the price and quality ratio is very far.
Yes, Bitcoin is the king of all the coins currently circulating in the exchange market, so it is quite difficult for Altcoin like ETH and Litecoin to pursue the price of Bitcoin, but what I like about the Crypto world is that nothing is impossible.
Everything in this market is getting better and lots of good information related to this market. I think anything can happen in this market as long as you have confidence in the coin you have chosen. I believe that the price increase of LTC and ETH will only be a matter of time because in the last few days the market is showing signs of a very good recovery and we can trust that this bull market will happen again before things start to the moon

I totally doubt the possibility of this, and why do we need the price of LTC and ETH to be at equal with BTC before we can benefit from them. These 3 coins are all doing very fine and if anyone is to invest, it should be now, whatever increase they get to during the surge will be enough for us to get a very big profit, but Itwon’t be possible for them to be as high as BTC even if BTC stops growing.

There is no coin in the market that bitcoinwill not always outperform, so rather than thinking of the time they will surge high as BTC, just put any amount you want now, you will get a very good price on the surge.

i'm pretty sure about ethereum we will see a nice and huge rally in this coin by the end of 2019 but in lite coin case i truly don't know i think it's already overvalued right now good luck for all Smiley
Among the altcoins that I have personal analyzed , I think litecoin is the most undervalued coins and because of the development and how good it is,  I think it is going to grow in future.  I have been following events on litecoin and even when it was pumped above $300 some of us take the advantage of buying at the low price and takes profits then.  I think ethereum and litecoin are good to invest now as the future is very bright and we would do ourself good by buying as other investors especially the whales will be flipping in future.

Well we cant tell yet on when ETH and LTC catch up to BTC, But as of now its only BTC are smoothly increasing the price. We hope some coins also will be join of BTC increasing the price because that we waiting for to increasing all of coins the prices.
Now only Bitcoin has increased and other pennies are having very bad prices in the last few days. If Bitcoin continues to rise, then altcoin will probably have a very low value this year. I hope that Bitcoin in the next few days has a slight and stable adjustment at $6200 because if Bitcoin doesn't have a lot of volatility, then surely all leading pennies will be able to raise prices higher. Now is not a good time to invest and we should wait patiently for the Bitcoin price to return to $6200
