I usually greedy, this is my mistake.  When the coins grow well, I think - let them grow a little more, and then I will sell them.  But later the correction in the market begins, and I again feel sorry for selling them, because I know that they cost more.  So, do not be greedy.

Look at the chart of your altcoin normally people will sell their altcoin when the price is high. But there are some who sell it when the price drops by looking at the possibility that the price is not rise again. Just depend how the market is going.

Its depend but generally its your own decision when to sell your altcoins. No one can decide but you.
But one thing bear in mind that most altcoins lose their price over time. They simply bleed their value away slowly and sometimes rapidly. Take this into account when holding altcoins for the medium and long term, and of course choose them carefully. What kind of altcoins are recommended for the long term?

Remember, this is only when there is a reason for making a trade. The coins that have a higher daily trading volume and which have a widespread community behind them, and with continuous development. Smiley

No one knows this. It is very difficult to make the right decision. In fact, there are people who choose and decide to sell or hold on time and bring great profits. However, in addition to the information from their team or close friends. You really need to be lucky to make the right decision.

It is no brainer, the time to sell your coin is that particular moment you have made profit not before. And if you want more profit you could still wait to sell in the future for more profit. In nutshell, when you sell is when you hit your target price.

If the increase in the price already on its peak and start declining.

If I saw that the price will not go high and will just go down.

If the team has no future goal for the coin.

Lastyl,  if I really need the money for my daily needs.

It's based on the exact situation - sometimes I need money to re-invest - in this case I may sold something in which I don't believe like 100%, it's ok for me, but in other cases I make my best to hodl.

profits in that business when we sell higher than we buy time so if our coins are worth the price I think it's time we sell our coins and not wait too long for the price to go up higher

If you are not a hardcore trader and just selling your altcoins with some profit, then you can always set a bar or amount where you can confidently sell your alts. That way, you can be satisfied that you sold your alts in the right amount.

I don't follow strict strategy. I am trying to follow the market and decide to sell when the market show a sign. Like the price drops after good increase for example.
Is just our own decision to sell if we gain profit already. Of course not all the time a certain coins may pump after buying,  that's why we should take a moment to wait any longer for it will have a good price to sell.

In my case, I am a long-term investor and sell tokens when money is very needed! And this is usually not always on time!)

when the altcoin price I hold increases more than 50% of the price when I buy it, it's a great time to sell the altcoin I hold.
If the coin is going to high in value I just sell the coins. If I am looking at a coin gaining 50% then it would be too late for me to purchase anyway.

It is very easy to know when i'm sell my altcoin . if i'm buy $2 par coin and when it is reach $3 i'm sell on that time.

For all crypto currencies we know that joining of this type of investment is risky and unpredictable so therefore this is the best strategy in terms of selling your coins and we called this a sell it high and buy it low strategy in which even you earned a little for sure but at least you earned than lossing your investments at all.

I sell my altcoins when their values appreciate significantly as compared to the previous market value and that usually happen when the altcoins get listed on the exchange.

IMO only sell when you are in need of some fiat to use in real life if you have no use HODL, using indicators to tell you when to sell would not be a great idea as FUD could make one sell as they could want to salvage some money from their altcoins.

but one thing I tell you is if there is a crash and people are panic selling thats the best time to buy, the market has shown this formula to work several times!
