The hype of ICO is increasing per day because new project or coin is coming in the market so that to handle the project there are needs of ICO and his team. Many ICO found in scam and now the time came there should be control on him to believe the investor and the crypto market does not suffer.

This is very sad and many victims have been fooled by projects that are Scam in this ICO. no sanctions are required. later the ICO will gradually be abandoned and begin to die slowly. I feel sorry for investors about ICO scams. We urgently need governments to take action to address this issue. People should not invest in if they only believe 85%. Do not be greedy, it will take all.

there are some ico that are scam and there are also ico that are legit. all of that depends on each of them. if we can choose ico well then we will get legit ico. we can't give any sanction to ico who is a scam. we just have to avoid it by choosing a good ico.

This year most of the ico has no hype already, they are generally under ico price so peoples dont participate to icos much, most of them just collecting money and doing nothing.
You might think that people are not investing in ICOs anymore, reality is more people have invested in ICOs in 2018 than 2017 which is very counterintuitive. But I think most of these investments were made around the peak...I know almost no one anymore who plans to invest in ICOs in the next months to come.
I think that there is already no hype in ICOs. ICOs started in 2017 have to show the results according to their roadmaps and many of them cannot do it because of unsuccessful development and initial goals far of the life. Also in 2017 the most interesting ideas were already used. That's why now there will be less ICO, but they should be more reliable.
I think you are wrong, there has been more invested in ICOs in 2018 than the year before, however people did not get rich.The only people who made money was the ICO team. I wonder why people keep investing in ICOs.
I believe that the ICO should be legalized-there are a lot of scams among ICO and many traders and investors are losing big money.

Regulated ICO's with a coins/tokens as the security assets are future of this market. But for now almost all use the utility loophole to not match the requirements of regulators
