Gambling to have fun is never forgotten by the many. But it just so happen that when we're having fun that much, we're forgetting that there should be a limit to it. And when we hit those limits, we're removing it because of the entertaining part that it has given to us. So, we're willing to break our own rules for that and even so, there's no way to change our minds with that knowing that problems will occur when we're going to continue because the reason changes from having fun, to getting money.

You are exactly right and you are perfect that at a time of getting more funds, the user becomes addicted and forgets that it is only for fun. As a result, the user loses control of the addict's loss/win at that time, and the gambler who won the fund finally becomes the winner. When I make loses which I cant afford I'll stop gambling and/or when I win a lot of funds I will stop gambling.

These are really good points OP,  and Will be helpful if gamblers follow these facts. For the first one, i also saw some people who start gamble when they need money and stake with the remain fund. But they should think that, their problem will be more critical after losing these remaining funds. for the second point, this is serious common problem what will be found in most of the gamblers who lost their fund and trying to get that back and thus they keep injecting more money which cause more losses. For the third one, yeah when some people feel upset or disappointed and don't find anything to do then they start gambling and betting randomly which caused losing in gambling. Besides when anyone win the game, he should stake full amount in the next game, cause if he lose then he'll lost everything what he have. Should follow rules and discipline, otherwise a gambler will fall into serious problem

Indeed, we should gamble to fill our free time because if we sacrifice other activities just to gamble, I think it doesn't make sense, I mean don't force yourself to spend time gambling, it should only be done when we have free time. In addition, there needs to be a limit so that we don't gamble non-stop.

People who have spent their entire salary on gambling, in my opinion, are people who gamble without limits. Actually, why spend your entire salary just to gamble, if the reason is to get profit, then why do many people experience losses? From there, we should realize that we should gamble reasonably by not allocating excessive money for gambling.

If someone constantly goes and gambles, they are losing in both ways, one with their money, and two, with their time.

The most successful people on Earth use their time in a wise manner. The most bang for your buck, or investing it for a potential future reward, like when studying something for example.

Gambling constantly only makes the casino richer, basically.

Gambling is for having a good time, and that's okay, it's not okay to put hope on it for becoming ultra-rich, especially in the long run.
Yeah, in my opinion, in the long term, money is simply lost and that’s all.  By the way, this applies not only to gambling, but to everything in general.  For example, you went on a trip to previously unknown countries and places.  We spent money, but we enjoyed it.  And in general, all your actions to receive paid services in any case do not bring you anything tangible, but bring you pleasure and take money.  And in this slightly philosophical sense, gambling also refers to this type of receiving a paid service that brings pleasure.  Although sometimes they also bring grief.
But tourist travel can also be unsuccessful for many and not live up to expectations.

Golden analogy! The thrill of gambling sometimes can never surpass something like it. This is the gist of it, and there shouldn't be hard feelings along the line, as you spent your money well, and had a blast doing it. That's an ideal scenario.
Now I, too, have begun to talk in much the same way about the fact that losing money in a game of chance, having lost it, is not just an offensive loss of money, but it is simply payment for the fact that you spent your free time having fun and even got emotions.
By the way, these emotions are not only negative.  But you also received positive emotions because when you started playing, even before the loss you were in a natural and good mood.  And you had a bright hope of winning.  But this time it didn’t come true, you lost.  But next time it will be different and you will win.
These are approximately the thoughts that are the result of any gambling game, perhaps for any player.

You can add these two:

When you win little, do not gamble on that day again. But some gamblers will feel like they should continue to gamble and they will lose at the end of the day.

When you are addicted. Quit gambling for a long time.
Quitting gambling can never be achieved because there we have the vast majority of gamblers who solely relied on gambling in their free time. It's not as if they're addicts but they're anticipating in games and they ensure they grab good hold of profits. These two measures are important but it sounds more like relenting efforts for these gamblers. There are many other ways to comprehend the operation of the market, its not mandatory we held our hands tie down to just one sector of the gambling system. Addiction kills slowly, and it affects most of the gamblers existence in the space.

Quitting gambling is quite achievable and so is every other addiction, remember how an addiction starts in the first place, it doesn't happen overnight, its something a person keeps repeating constantly and it becomes a part of the person, The same way you got addicted to it you can stop by totally restricting yourself from engaging in it, this wouldn't be easy it might a while, but you would notice that if you keep it up for more than 3 months you'll start losing interest in it...it's all about decision anf discipline

Well there's time for everything, there's time to gamble and time not to gamble too. Like one of the best time not to gamble is when your emotion is not in the right, or when you are exhausted. You know I don't understand are most people will keep on saying that they gamble for fun and whn you feeling tired and sleepy you still gamble, I have heard alot of cases like this and most like it always result to huge losses, so what fun are you looking for when you're exhausted, the best thing to do is to have some rest. Because you gambling when you're is a sign of greed , and also a sign. Of you gambling for the money alone or for you to get rich quick.

And the other best time to call it a day is you're winning or losing, because most time will let greed to help us make some decisions that don't always end well forus , so once you see that you're winning stop and go with the ye little you have made for that day . Or when you losing stop to avoid making things worse by chasing after losses.

The ability to stop while gambling is the most important skill for a gambler.
Only it can show the strength of spirit and self-control of a gambler. I consider those gamblers who after winning simply turn off the online casino on their phone, or if they are in a physical casino, just get up and leave with a feeling of victory, to be absolutely strong. Most gamblers do not do this, they want more and more and are ready to continue playing, while zeroing out their deposit with a series of unsuccessful spins or bets. Greed and naive dreams do not allow them to stop.

I used to gamble to fill my free time, but more and more often I started to notice that I don't have much free time. Sometimes I even have to give up something to free up my evening for gambling.

If we talk about losing your entire paycheck in gambling - in my opinion it is very similar to a step of desperation and such people clearly need help.

If we can use gambling to fill our spare time and not have any intention, we will not trying to spends too long in gambling because we will know that gambling is just part of our activities that we can use. We should not trying to give up something just to playing gambling because that can make your minds to thinks about gambling. If that happens for some time, our minds will be difficult to distract gambling and just to give up something to playing gambling.

Sooner or later, we will becomes addicted to gambling without we notice and that can cause us to use too much money. We will not thinks about limitation because we will not care about that and only want to playing gambling. That is something that we must avoids from gambling besides of a will to make money from gambling or recover our lost. We playing gambling because we want to enjoy our spare time and not return to casino for some time distract our minds thinks about gambling.

But I don't agree that chasing losses is greed, it's a different context in my opinion, it shows more that people are in addiction, or he wants to get money back because he used money that he couldn't lose in gambling, so he is chasing money that has been lost.

If you don't have greed, whether you win or lose, you will stop playing according to the original plan. Your desire to regain what you lost also comes from your greed, because you cannot control your emotions. As you also said, greed comes from our emotions and if we cannot control our emotions then we are clearly greedy people.

Is everyone who is not good at controlling himself a greedy person or makes him greedy? I think not, many other aspects can be concluded to say so, the correlation is quite saturated for that sentence.

Don't use the excuse that we just want to get back what we lost and say that it doesn't come from greed. Not to mention, is there a guarantee that if you get your lost money back you will stop playing? Obviously you cannot control your emotions because from the beginning if you consider gambling as entertainment, winning or losing you will stop according to the original plan.

This is not an excuse, but it is still different to think that people who chase defeat are greedy, while the metaphor of a greedy person is that when someone gets one part he wants three, so greedy is appropriate to say.

Now when he has already won and then continues to play and wants to get more, it can be stated that he is a greedy person.

If a gambler loses his entire salary to gambling, he clearly has a problem. No responsible gambler would do that because he understands the risks of gambling.

In fact, you can get rid of any addiction, but you must first realize that you have a problem and only then look for ways to solve it. Most addicted people do not realize that they have some problems, or are afraid to admit it because of condemnation by other people.
That is a big mistake if a gambler loses all of his entire salary for playing gambling because he can't fills his daily needs. He doesn't have  his self control over gambling and there is a chance for him to become addicted to gambling. He really needs to realizes of what he is done in gambling and trying to reduce his gambling activities by doing other things. That's why he needs to manage his time to playing gambling and not use his spare time to always playing gambling.

You don't have to playing gambling because of make money, recovers your losses, or other things except for fun. Playing gambling is for fills your spare time occasionally and you will know that you don't have to use gambling to spends your spare time. By always managing your time, you will prevent the gambling addiction and will not trying to deeper in gambling. You know the risks of playing gambling so you will choose not to closer to gambling.

I can only sense that you know something is missing but you can't still put the pieces together, that's why you can say that chasing losses is greedy and still say that it is another context entirely (not the direct words).

Bro, when you chase losses, you are not greedy, you are just being desperate. However, this desperation can be orchestrated by anything, it doesn't matter, what matters is that you are not with your right senses at that moment anymore but being driven by the emotion in you.

I've noticed that many users on the forum mistake this, but the fact remains that greed is not the only function of emotion, only that most gamblers wrongly believe so and it will be difficult to convince most of them to that.
Desperate and greedy are somewhat different from one another. Particularly in the context of gambling, its simple to confuse one for the another. A desperate gambler is greedy, thus they are not chasing after more money. Fear of losing even more drives them to try to recoup their losses. Its a fear of losing what they have already put in, not a want for excess.

Now, under pressure, we have all witnessed people make poor decisions. One classic case is the gambler's fallacy. Someone believing a losing run will miraculously become a winning streak is not driven by avarice. The emotional strain of loss fuels a lack of clear thinking. Recall, people, money is only a tool - not a yardstick of our value. We lose view of what really important in life when we become overly wedded to it.

Don't use the excuse that we just want to get back what we lost and say that it doesn't come from greed. Not to mention, is there a guarantee that if you get your lost money back you will stop playing?

A gambler cannot stop his game immediately when the attraction to get back his lost money arises from his body. No gambler can make this guarantee, because a person who loses money will try harder to get it, which is a sign of addiction. So a person who is an addicted gambler can never bring anything good out of gambling, because the greed for money is high in his mind.

If a gambler who has gambled heavily in the past and made a fortune suddenly suffers a loss, the gambler is sure to experience repeated losses if he enters winnings again to get that money back. Because no gambler can earn money from gambling for the sake of money.

yes a gambler who is addicted will not let go of the money that has been lost from his gambling activities, they will chase the losses at the beginning in the hope of winning at the end of the session and returning their capital, we will often find people like this in our environment, greed in the gambling activities they do is because they view gambling as a money maker, such thinking is not wrong, it's just the wrong placement if you expect to be able to make money from gambling, because we all know the basis of gambling is luck. so it's not right to have such thoughts. yes there is nothing to expect from a greedy and addicted gambler. the best way is to cure the person and change his views on gambling
