As usual I read some specific telegram channels, this topic is really popular. Then I search some top-sites such as icobench. Last time found two interesting project: Jibrel Network and Confideal. Also my friend told me to search info about ZXC. It is so hard for me to understand, maybe one can tell me what the point.

Other than this forum, you could try icobench. They list ongoing and upcoming ico's there and rate them from 1-5. Devs just use this forum to see how would the community respond to their project.

Where do you find interesting ICO or crypto projects to invest ? Here on bitcointalk announcements or on other websites related to new ICO  announcements !

I wouldn't judge from here or social media twitter/facebook as there will be a lot of people saying a coin is great because they are on the social media bounty campaign.
Instead there are plenty of ICO review sites. Hacked I think is the best and most thorough.

Most of these ico listing websites charge to be listed and are very expensive. I have been trying to list my project ico. They charge from 0.05btc to 1btc depending on how famous the website is.

determining which ico will succeed is a very difficult thing to do, because almost all ico projects can not be guessed, sometimes ico projects are famous and big, not even last long, and otherwise small and rare ico project followed, sometimes even successful and lasting

I usually find interesting ICOs on twitter, I follow a lot of traders and crypto investors. When you see many experienced people talking about or mentioning the same ICO, I suppose it will be interesting.
Twitter is how I find ICO's that have the price flexibility to move more than 20 times the starting price. Social media is how to get the information on 2017 coins.

1-bitcointalk
2- twitter
3- websites like icoalret
So nobody is using facebook for that ?
Facebook is even the last on my mind to find interesting ICO. I have always kept myself abraised with the ANN thread on this forum and some few websites online that announces any latest ICO.

Lately though, I have seen some groups on telegram with the chance of deliberating on a particular ICO and then discuss the possibility of it making some sense eventually or not. All the same, all these usually end with my own due diligence on any project I will ever want to invest in.

Firstly i find in this forum, but I also look for other review of the project on the youtube, there are many youtube channels from experienced crypto market analysts who already know about blockchain technology in detail, so it will be easier to give rate and review a project.

There are different sites wherein you can find interesting ICOs. We have icobench, icotracker, icocountdown and many more but for me, the best site to look for it is on this forum. Aside from the information that you can ind about the upcoming ICO, you can also read feedbacks, reviews and complaints from the members of this forum.

Majority of the ICOs project launching prefer to announce it here first, on this forum than on social media or other crypto related forum and crypto related website. Bounty and campaign participants are their workforce and social media marketing crowdsourcing but not all ICOs are legit and not all ICOs last long. Before i joined the bounties and campaign, i would see to it on how they laid out their white papers, the dev team's profile, business affiliates and partners, and their service advocates. Many ICOs are a copy of the other existing ICOs the only way to succeed to their ICOs is their credibility, intergrity and transparency to investors and campaign/ bounties participants.

There are many sites that list ICOs and token sales.  However, they are subsets of the list on Bitcointalk.org's Announcement (Altcoins) page, for the following reasons:

  • Not all of the project teams will know about all of the ICO sites, but they all know about and will announce on Bitcointalk.org's Announcement (Altcoins) page
  • Not all of the projects will pay to get listed on these ICO sites

However, Bitcointalk.org's Announcement (Altcoins) sorts the announcements based on which ones had the most recent comments.  Therefore, on the first page, you'll see announcements that were originally posted months ago and even announcements whose token sales have ended.

To find the most recent announcements, go to Bitcointalk's advanced search page and:

  • Enter ANN in the "Search for:" field
  • Check the "Search in topic subjects only" box (but I'm not sure if this narrows down the search results)
  • Change the "Between 0 and 9999 days" field
  • Under "Choose a board to search in, or search all", uncheck "Check all".  Then click on + to expand the list and check only "Announcements (Altcoins)"
  • Click Search

This will show the announcements for the days that you selected.
