To some gamblers, loosing the money is also part of the fun to them, because they realized that gambling is not only for a winning for winning event, we paly to try our luck for winning or loosing, then we have the fun at the end as one of the most expected benefit we should always seek after with gambling, this makes it that not all gamblers are that eager or too desperate in making a win by all means, some are only after catching the fun and being satisfied like  that, everyone of us cannot have the same approach to how we are gambling, but at least, one of our expectations must be meant for each purpose of gambling. 

However, in sports it still depends on luck because every gamble definitely hopes to win, so if we gamble in sports we definitely hope to win for the team we support, the same thing with online or offline gambling, everyone hopes to win and the gambler's win is not because he was great at gambling but it was a stroke of luck for him.

Yes, it is true that those who gamble on sports definitely choose their favorite team or a team that they think is very good at competing, but every good team doesn't always win, there are bound to be losses, so if we choose a team that we think is good and has great abilities, then the team loses to a team that we think is bad/not good, we definitely think it's just luck. Therefore, gambling still depends on luck. therefore luck plays a role.

Gamblers' wins and losses have no long-term effect. Because a gambler never stops at a win or a loss. But there are some gamblers who gamble with the money they cannot afford to lose. Gambling becomes no fun for a gambler when he bets such money and loses. It is normal to be depressed when a gambler loses his money. Gambling is considered fun by those who accept loss and win. And gambling does not bring joy to those who strive only to win. A gambler must be prepared to accept both profits and losses. If there is no high expectation from gambling then losing in gambling will have no regrets.

I don't know what fun is when you lose money as there is no fun for me.The fun when playing with friends and socializing is a good one but tell me one person who get to play a huge amount of money when he is gambling with friends unless he is completely drunk or he is rich,for these type of persons for rich persons they don't care how much money they lose as long as they are enjoying what they are doing,the drunk persons only realizes tomorrow when he wakes up what he has done and for the normal persons,most of the normal persons there is absolutely no freaking fun when you lose money,just read the chats in casinos,people leaving parents money,or money that they need for major other things.

The beauty of gambling especially casino games, you win and lose more often which keeps the bettor to keep betting and they will adjust their betting amount based on their results which decides whether they could leave with a bankroll or going to bust their balance. Nobody feels fun when they lose but on the other side, the hope of winning the next bet keeps us engaged.

Although you may not like it, the mathematical probability of you winning is low, with failure being a possible outcome. However, for everyone, gambling cannot simply be a dichotomy between winning and losing. For some people, the pleasure derived from gaming is valued more than any potential outcome. The adrenaline rush, the thrill of competition and the social aspect of playing with friends can make up part of its appeal.

For some gamblers, winning is a reward but for gamblers like these, it is their experience. Approaching gambling from an entertainment perspective is something they do, knowing that it can lead to losing money but accepting it as a price to pay for fun. What gambling is depends on each person. No one can say whether someone gambles for the right or wrong reason because everyone has their own motivation and satisfaction from it.

Let's put this debate to bed, time is money and if you are going to gamble without anything to show for in terms of a profit then it's simply a waste of time. And why would anybody in their right mind call losing money fun, comeon let's be honest with ourselves.

True, gambling is a combination of skill and luck especially when you are involved in the type of sports betting that does require skill and knowledge to at least help bring you closer to winning, but still in the end you will lose if luck does not come at the right time, meaning that no matter how skilled you are and have a lot of knowledge it will not work to bring victory if luck does not come at the same time. But this makes sense and confirms the reason that gambling is always about uncertainty in terms of winning.

Every gambler has their own perspective and goals in gambling, some come for entertainment and some come with the full intention of winning, all of that is up to you because you have the right to make whatever decision you want but on condition and note that you must really understand thoroughly what gambling is actually about, because in some cases usually someone who comes with the aim of making them do not have the ability to accept the fact of losing which makes them instead dominated by emotions which ultimately makes them experience a greater number of losses. On the other hand I understand that everyone does not like losing, but this is gambling which will always involve the possibility of losing, simply put if for example you don't want to lose anything then obviously it's better not to gamble, but if for example you still want to stay involved then obviously you must have the ability to accept whatever the risks are.

Sometimes gamblers' thoughts also make sense. but some gamblers are aware that they are betting and have the hope of winning. Even though the results depend on luck, gamblers still bet happily.
if there are gamblers who still think gambling doesn't provide fun for them. I'm sure the gambler is under pressure from losing a game that is increasingly making him frustrated. However, the impact of gambling varies for each gambler. and their responses are also sometimes unique.

Gambling is both combination of luck and your skills, but decisively we win by chance. Your bets are placed based on your already gotten knowledge as you have already said, of which you stake on those predictions within your risk tolerance level and accept any outcome of your bets.

My take on this OP,  is gambling isn't fun as well as either you lose or win. We all just take part in a probability game that is uncertain, we accepting this fact shades us from Ill feelings of which we keep betting nothing more or less.
Of course judging from normal Human perspective it won't be fun if don't all lie to ourselves, we all know and accept lose as part of game so it becomes fun when we lose then if am to put it this way. In essence gamble responsibly with your set rules so as not to reach a stage you become  emotionally unhealthy and then the fun dies off the game.

If you don't want luck to disrupt your gambling experience, get into sports betting. The outcome of a sports event isn't always dependent on luck because it's not like a gambling game where you press a button and then wait for the RNG to generate the result for you to see if you were lucky or not.

In sports betting, you place your bets based on your knowledge about the teams and players involved in a game and you know their capabilities and abilities and how much skilled or unskilled they are, so your bet wouldn't be based on luck in sports betting.

I know that luck can affect games sometime, you will see a team losing that you expected to win and statistically, it was ahead of the opponent. However, this doesn't happen all the time.

Yes, that's good if we can forget about the losses because that will no use if we still reminds that lose. We can't makes gambling as an entertainment or an activity in our free time if we still remember our lose. We must change our minds about gambling to make money because that will not work easily as we will face many losses while we playing gambling. Many people lose their money but we can prevent the big lose with self-control and becomes responsible gambler. We don't have to lose much money like them because we already learned many things to prevent the big lose. If we lose, we aren't trying to recover our lose but we will thinks about to stop playing gambling and leave the casino to prevents our minds telling us to continue playing gambling. When we can limits our gambling activity and not used gambling for make money or as a source of income, we will prevents the big lose and we can enjoy gambling as an entertainment.

Yes, that happens, and it happens because after spending money in a casino they get bored, I know many who do that when they are in a casino, in fact some are businessmen, but in the world there are so many millionaires who don't do it, they don't mind spending money in casinos or anywhere, they only care about having fun, and anyone who has a lot of money or whatever bores them, so this type of thing is what we should always see, for example when I see that someone is looking for fun and has a lot money because they have already tried physical casinos , physical casinos are what they are looking for the most, until now the ones I have told them to enter online casinos have been very poor, in fact some have not. You're right but when they get to their peak and they just want to roll it over and have fun, they can spend it easily to gambling or anything that they want to spend just to pastime.

It's true that they might be too strict in spending but time will come that they're going to look for ways to spend it for something else that they think they deserve.

I would say that most people that actually earned their money through business or investments will probably not spend too much time at casinos.

That's the reality, usually it is simply the people that want to be rich the ones playing at the casinos, and ironically never becoming rich.

It is a millionaire's or wealthy guys way of having fun, to lose money and that's the payment they're doing to the enjoyment they're getting with everything.

That could be with girls, casinos or anything that's giving them the pleasure so, unlike us, we gamble with the hopes to have some money.

While them, they're expecting to lose money and that's why they're gambling no matter is the result, it's okay to them as they can make and take that money back easily.

We wants the best for ourselves. Gambling is ultimately for those that have good jobs and they're just here to catch fun and not some random guy that entirely depends on gambling for generating money. Losing money is fun? Not to me because I work hard to earn a good living and watching myself making severe losses will definitely make me angry and upset with the system. I'm just here trying my best to suit with the system, always gambling and hitting the harder spots because I'm pretty sure the system favors or wait for nobody.

I will agree that we have different mindset of gambling but out of hundreds participants of gamblers it's few of the gamblers that doesn't gamble because of money, and when you check in this forum you will also notice that many people in the forum it's few person's that know quite well that they gamble to catch fun, but majority out of hundreds percent is gambling to enrich themselves through gambling,  do you know that most of us who is a gambler our intension and mindset is different and mainly our mindset is to make money through gambling not to catch fun, I disagree with some people whose gambling and said they were catching fun.
