Someone who gambles will of course try to be able to place their bet and be able to win that bet and very few of them bet just for fun, but everyone who bets of course has different reasons from others, there are some people who gamble with the hope of winning of course they will feel sad when they lose because they have high hopes of being able to win their bet but those who gamble for fun of course they only enjoy the game they placed their bet on and if they win it will of course make them happy and when they lose they don't think too much about it.

If they consider their losses is a challenge, they will not have a chance to recover their losses but they will lose more money. They will understand that playing gambling needs to relax and not thinks about winning the games. Playing gambling have many surprised so they must be ready for anything that will happens. If they don't ready, they only increase their lost without they realize and that will impact to their emotion. Some gamblers can't understand that when they lose from gambling, they must stops their gambling activity immediately before they lose all of their money. But the fact is they still playing gambling games and losing their money so there is no fun that they feels because that change into an intention to recovers their lost. But it's normal that if we lose, we feel regrets because of the losing money. If we can understand that, we must stops playing gambling for a while so we can forgets the losing money.

The problem may be in acceptance, they often cannot accept the reality of real defeat. Maybe experience also has an important role and can help us in anticipating losses, maybe those who experience big losses due to poor reception are due to a lack of experience. But in order to learn a lesson, I don't think they have to feel it first, with the many cases that have happened, I think it can be a lesson for all of us so that we don't do the same thing that results in big losses. In my opinion, all gamblers hope for a win that can be obtained from gambling, but sometimes this hope ends up trapping them in trouble.

When they lose the amount of money they have, especially since the money they have has been used up just for gambling, maybe they will feel despair, in fact what you say is true, this despair can be a dangerous thing for us. because in my opinion, that despair can lead us to take actions that take big risks. such as returning to betting by selling some or even all of the property you own, or perhaps worse, ending your life because you feel you have reached the point of despair. Therefore, if we really want to gamble, we should be prepared for the reality of losing or losing the money we bet, don't think of it as something trivial, because basically everyone is not happy when the money they have is lost.

Self acceptance and realizations from the start would really be the key on having that seamless gambling experience on which on the time that you had made out yourself that anticipating for those loses on which it could happen into you.

In my opinion, it depends on how we respond to gambling, if we are ready to lose from the start then we are ready to lose, and indeed we should be ready to lose because if we are not ready to lose then what will happen is that emotions will overflow and when emotions which has overflowed then destruction and chaos can occur with the actions taken. risking a large amount of money may be more likely to lead to despair, by risking a large amount of money because of frustration with the win that is not obtained in every gambling that is done.

Winning at gambling is a pleasure that can be felt, but winning can become a trap when we only think about winning. You have to allocate a certain amount of money that you are willing to lose because the gambling you do will only end in disappointing defeat. Remember, there is no way to avoid losing at gambling because it is something that is certain to happen in gambling.

If we really know and understand the moderacy to how far we can go in gambling, we will really work towards doing things as according to how we could afford for them, we also needs to understand that not every gamblers are unhappy to every huge loss they make while gambling because some of them can afford to, while some already have done beyond they could cope with, when we are gambling, we must consider the risl of winning or loosing first because choosing a particular amount of money to stake with. 

But the deep inside of gamblers is stingy and calculating, losing money should have a meaning, instead of being random and have no purpose to entrust it like that, surely there are other goals, apart from basic pleasure, the reality is that there is nothing more fun than living in a pile of money that we just need a few gentle nudges and withdrawals. Finally, gamblers also live with the mindset of making money, they lose money but are still happy with the thought of dreaming of earning another amount of money later, perhaps losing money is to maintain the joy of hope

Well said, I was actually going to say that even when a player loses a very small amount of money all the time to gambling, it's still not really fun because over time, that which seems to be a very small amount of money can turn out to become a really big amount of money when cumulatively calculated.
And like I always say, even in times when we are gambling for fun, winning is still very important to keep the motivation high enough, because I remember that most of the time when I am playing some slot or casino games for fun, losing on a long streaks usually discourages me, makes the game totally uninteresting anymore, and sometimes, I even end up getting angry even though winning wasn't that really important, but just to have fun.

For those of us who played video games when we were much younger, it's exactly how we usually feel when we get to a certain level in the game, where we can't just be able to figure out a way to beat the boss and go past that level, you try and try and try, but you discover that you are never able to go past that level, you discover that over time, playing that game will become uninteresting to you and you look for another game to play where you are likely to experience new kind of winnings again.

This is exactly how it is with gambling for fun and actually not winning, over time, it makes gambling uninteresting.

It’s just that many people need to be aware of the risk they are taking on. Many, in a fit of rage and excitement, take their losses as a challenge, but this is not right, because there is no control and then many are surprised that their wallet is empty. I don’t understand what could be fun here for some, although sometimes I’ve seen streamers show their emotions to viewers, but I completely understand why they do it. Some not very smart players can imitate them without realizing it, this happens on a subconscious level. As a result, it turns out that even by and large it doesn’t matter to them that they lose, they play for the strong emotions that they lack in life. Has anyone read on this forum in the gambling section who was happy gambling because they lost OP? I just asked because the real fun is what we enjoy, right? But there are others who will appreciate the fun more when they win a large amount—at least, let's say, around $100  and up—especially when they get a jackpot. So that means it depends on the individual traders to make him happy.

When you lose big money in the gambling, that is not fun but when you lose small money I believe it will not make you feel bad at the moment that is fun because you know that you will surely recover from your loss whenever you win which is the fun we are talking about in the gambling.

Losing all the time in your gambling, you can take a break to carry out more research to know what is causing your loss and how to apply another strategy because, that is not fun and it can push you to be addicted to gambling if you are not careful.

So that we are better prepared to lose, we should bet in small amounts while enjoying betting.
Most people's mistake is to think that gambling can make money and place gambling as a way to get a steady source of income.

We all wants success, especially from gambling because many people still playing gambling and hope they can win much money from gambling. That's why many people comes to gambling and expect to make money from gambling but they don't knows that gambling is not a place to make money. They can just playing gambling to fills their spare time and have fun and not makes money. We must limits our gambling activity to prevents the big lose because many people have that but that doesn't stops them from playing gambling. We must be smart to used gambling as an entertainment and not for makes money. We don't have to pursue the losses because that can makes us getting more losses and will not realizes that we already lose much money.

I agree with you. Basically we have to think that we are paying to gamble and you have to be prepared to lose your money. Never use gambling as a source of income. You will not get pleasure from gambling if your goal is money. Gambling is a game and it will cost you money. Believe me you will not win from gambling. If you win then in the next round you will lose. So it's better not to think about getting money from gambling because you won't get fun from that mindset.

Yeah, but at the end of the day, the amount of entertainment a gambler can get will probably never cost that much.

A ticket for a concert, plus an all you can eat and drink dinner, etc, all that would be nothing compared to one night at the casino gambling away without limits.

There's just no comparison in terms of entertainment.

I am among the people who do not agree with you if your perception is that gambling is only for profit. A person's fun cannot always be measured by how much money they make after gambling, some gamblers only try to relieve fatigue after a day's work or relieve the burden of the problems they are facing. The atmosphere in a gambling place can give them pleasure and inner satisfaction that cannot be measured in money even if they lose after placing a bet.

If you assume that looking for fun in gambling places is just a waste of time, then mountain climbers or rock climbers are also wasting time and have a greater risk than the money spent in gambling places. A person's fun cannot be measured with money, mountain climbers can feel a sensation that is difficult to express in words after successfully reaching the peak, the feeling of tiredness, time spent and ignoring daily tasks is not comparable to the sensation of pleasure felt after successfully achieving their goal.

Exactly, the fun part is attached to what a person's perception about gambling is, whether they know and understand that gambling can't earn them money in the long run or they spend money on gambling with the hope that they might earn a fortune some day. Though it's possible, the odds are extremely low for someone to make a fortune through gambling and it only happens to a small percentage of gamblers out of millions of gamblers out there.

If a person understands this, then they might gamble just for fun, and when they do that, they don't care about losses because they will have a fixed budget and they will only be using that amount for their gambling activities and it would be an amount that they can easily afford to lose.

If you or anyone wants to earn back to back money, then gambling is not for them. In gambling, there is no guarantee when you will win or when you will lose. Rather most of the time, the unexpected happens. When we are confident that we will surely win we lose and we have given and think that luck is not at our side, we start to win. There is no certainty as to when and how much we win or lose in gambling.


I have tried this too, I quit for a day when i lose and then next fresh after next day and guess what, i lose again  
So this formula does not work that you quit for the day, for that time and when you start again, you will definitely win. You can start again and start the losing streak again.
The worst thing is that we never know when our good luck will start so we need to keep on trying until we find a win. And yes, the Fun part in gambling only comes when we are winning.

When a player has extra funds to finance his gambling habit, it's not much of a stress to think he'd be sad after losing out a designated amount of money he drafted out for gambling, only. Moods swings only if he changes his initial plans and plays against his will. Such is likely or unlikely going to happen depending on the personal skills of the player. Gamblers who intend to enjoy the game wouldn't get sad, but those who wish to earn more money can go home angry. When a person wishes to get something in a place where it's not available, he gets disappointed. A gambler whose intentions revolve around making money won't feel the excitement of gambling, compared to a player who focuses on enjoying his game. He'll only wager a few amounts and get relaxed watching out for the results. If more money is spent, the mood of a player could be diminished. That's where the fun disappears alongside the money. It all depends on the wagering habit of the player and how he manages his money, regardless of his financial status.

It's interesting what you say about the connection between fun and winnings, because it makes a lot of sense! The fun doesn't consist exactly on the winnings, but on the struggle we face to achieve a winning in the end. Then it's highly rewarding, not only financially, but also emotionally, because we feel the thrill!

It's like watching a movie where the hero always overcome the challenges without any effort, or doesn't face any challenges at all during his journey on the story. Movies like that aren't fun, because they are monotonous and obvious... You know exactly what is going to happen, when it's going to happen and how it's going to finish, without having to watch the entire movie. Even the action scenes in movies like that aren't fun.

The unpredictable makes movies fun, just like the randomness makes gambling fun for gamblers. That is the truth!
