it's very simple. there is nowhere risk free to invest your bitcoins.

there are ways to capitalise on your bitcoin holdings for free with alts.

bitcore, stellar and byteball all give you free coins based on your bitcoin balance based on certain dates the blockchain is recorded. sign a message with your addresses and you get free coins you can keep or dump.

with 40 btc you should get about over 1 btc worth of alts with those coins.

way better return than any bullshit investment.

All you will offer it will be associated with risk. When it comes to such money will always be willing to take the money from you. I think the best solution is to buy a hardware for mining coins and mine them at home. It will bring you even more income than you want.

I have been buying bitcoin when the price was around 400$-450$.Most of my bitcoins are bought at that price around 40 BTC and remaining at less then 600$ price.i have been holding btc in paper wallet since then and already my stash in usd is 6 times.
here is one of my tx

what i want to know is please suggest some ways to invest my bitcoin at zero risk to earn some profit.Even 0.8% to 1% profit per month is good for me but it should be risk free.i don't mind the profit percentage but risk should not be there.if you have some suggestions please post that too,if i should keep holding for more years and if yes how long should i hold?
I guess you can invest and more profitable in eth and litecoins today bitcoin i guess is still a grest investment but i guess its having a hard time increasing its price in the market so better to also invest in other cryptocurrency like eth that is just starting in the line and linr up 2nd to bitcoin.

...  [I would like] ways to invest my bitcoin at zero risk to earn some profit ...

Put them on a Trezor.io or keep them in paper.

Make sure you have a 12 to 24 word phrase memorized and stored securely should happen something to you.

Hold until 2028. There are not and will not be enough Bitcoin for every millionaire to have one entire BTC.  You've got many.  Good on you!

If you must spend ... Adam Meister has a great YouTube channel about the "21 Bitcoin Club" as a "guaranteed road to elitism".   It's good stuff.

I am new here but even I know that nothing is risk free in this world. Bitcoin holders believe in bitcoin future and in price increase, by them just holding is the safest way to make profit, but like other
members above me said even that is not risk free. 45 BTC is $115k and that is a lot now, just with holding that can worth double for one year or less.
I must agree here and probably repeat what is said many times on this forum, it is best to split the money into several parts and if something goes wrong with one investment you will still have back up
plan, safety first is one of my rules.

Yes, and just like what old timers says here: Diversify. It is still not a risk free, nothing is risk free specially in investment, but I think not putting all your eggs in one basket will help you mitigate the risk of a lost. And yes, I think you have the patience to hold into it. So if I were at your position, holding is still the best option and the safest for now.

That is what I do... I don't have a lot of money, but does't matter, it's always good to split the investment among some sites. FreeBitco.in is a good option, Casino bankrolls are a good option, to just hold a part of these Bitcoins is good too.

If any of the investments go wrong, you will have all the others still working and able to let you recover your losses. However, investing in Bitcoins you can never avoid to have losses if the BTC price decreases, what I don't believe that will happen, but the possibility exists.
and through this way we can minimize the risk of losing money, because there is more risk if you have invested your money in one play as compare to investing your money in different places. I think a lot of altcoin with low price but high potential are there, you just need to identify them and then invest money there without any doubt and hesitation.

That is a nice return for sure! its great that you got into bitcoin a couple of years ago
now you are seeing massive growth!

Assuming you want to invest in ANYTHING would precious metals be something to consider?

Im not experienced in investing so I am curious to know what the plan of action would be.

I do know that diversifying is a very positive element to investing ant that high reward comes
with high risk and low rewards are made with low risk.

There are no investment that are risk free, all investment does carries certain risk and that is how some people got richer or lost everything they have, maybe you could take a look into crypto-currency trading, using a small portion of your bitcoins to trade into other altcoins might be profitable in the long term with good trades executed, ethereum might be a good alternative to look into.
i know trading can be highly profitable with my current bitcoin stash but that is a very high risk as i do not know basics of trading or how to trade so trading is not for me.I want to know if investing with bitcoin or investing with fiat which is less risky?

Op, why do you care about petty0.8% when you just by holding your coins you have earned something like 160% since last year?
Holding is the safest option for everyone - considered volatile nature of bitcoin and instability of Bitcoin related services.
Would you risk depositing your coins to some online 'bank' and as result lose access to your coins?

it's actually 600% since late 2015.anyway who doesn't like to earn more and more?that's why with holding i am looking for some ways where i can invest some bitcoins with 0.001% risk and earn 1% which is 0.45 BTC per month that i will spend.isn't it good to hold bitcoins and even get to spend 0.45 btc per month?

Am afraid you'll not get any risk free method to invest bitcoins right now. Everybody is looking forward to the segwit integration and hopefully we will have a better future with the transaction delay and fees problem. Till then it's best to hold your bitcoins, keep them in a wallet or a cold storage.

Risk free how about donating some coins, you will get risk free blessings. Good thing is you have it in paper wallet and Bitcoin is itself a investment I would advise you not to invest anywhere hold the coins. But if you insist then put it in freebitco.in they give yearly interest of 4.08%. So For 40BTC DAILY INTEREST 0.00438356 BTC MONTHLY INTEREST (30d) 0.13171598 BTC YEARLY INTEREST (365d) 1.63220235 BTC that's the best and safest way. Investment subject to site being active.
I can't take risk so i guess for me holding is the best bet as i don't want to sell at the current price but holding bitcoin is boring as hell.i am not the person who sell some to cashout some profit and regret later when price rises.whenever i will sell i will sell all the coins.what do you consider a good long term hold from now 5 years? 10 years?
