I have been buying bitcoin when the price was around 400$-450$.Most of my bitcoins are bought at that price around 40 BTC and remaining at less then 600$ price.i have been holding btc in paper wallet since then and already my stash in usd is 6 times.
here is one of my tx

what i want to know is please suggest some ways to invest my bitcoin at zero risk to earn some profit.Even 0.8% to 1% profit per month is good for me but it should be risk free.i don't mind the profit percentage but risk should not be there.if you have some suggestions please post that too,if i should keep holding for more years and if yes how long should i hold?

You want to earn more? Well, do what you did in the past! Just hold it. Eventually the price might rise more. Also, there is NO zero risk in any kind of investment whatsoever. If there was zero risk then everyone would just dive in to bitcoin and be rich in the future.

P.S. Stay away from cloud mining and investment sites

Risk free investments do not exist.

The closest thing you can get is government bonds, but those are in fiat and the returns are very little.

As Bitcoin is an investment in itself as well as being a currency, all Bitcoin investments would have to avoid switching to fiat for any of the work involved.  If you invested your coins during the time, they would have to grow the investment by several hundred percent in terms of purchase power to give you any returns in Bitcoin at all.

The risks of investing in anything Bitcoin related far outweigh the returns in my view.  I would just hold your coins.

There's no risk free if you want to invest. All of them has their very own risk even holding, if you are still not satisfied with the profit that you got already, much better to store that on offline wallets so that after August 1 you will have a safe place for your bitcoins. But others are saying that sell it and then just buy it again.

Nothing that gives a return is entirely risk free, that's the nature of investing. Freebitco.in pays 4% annual interest (paid daily giving 4.08% APR).
It's been around since 2013 and is highly trusted in the Bitcoin community so I'd say it's probably the safest return you are likely to find. Obviously not as safe as keeping hold of it in a paper wallet but that gives not interest.

Is holding bitcoin long term risk free?
No. Holding any bitcoin has risk to it...it's not risk free.

like if i hold for 5 years more then isn't there a high chance that i will earn a good profit?
Yes, there's a chance that the value of the bitcoin will increase. There's also a chance that bitcoin fails and becomes worth pennies.

The fact that we've been able to earn so much appreciation attests for the risk we've been bearing. The more risk you take on the greater chance you have an high gains (or high losses)

If you believe in bitcoin long term keep your bitcoin in its paper wallet and ride out the Segwit storm. That's the LEAST risky thing to do...if you do in fact want to own bitcoin. (Technically the least risky thing to do is to not own any bitcoin...but what's the fun in that?!)

Considering we have to worry about a fork in August you should keep those bitcoin in cold storage where you control the private keys. Wait until the dust settles before investing.
i already have them in paper wallet from the start.so you are suggesting to hold.is that a good idea to hold this amount of bitcoin considering price may fall too much after August 1st? should i sell and wait it out the soft fork?

The best option for now is hold Bitcoin.  However it sis also can't be called toally risk free.
If you want something risk free, then buy some commodity that will cost more in the long-time future.

Wow, the 500% gain you have isn't enough? Crazy. There is risk in owning bitcoin, so theres no such thing as a risk free bitcoin investment.

I think you should leave your bitcoin in that paper wallet until segwit and the gork talk have passed. Segwit2x is scheduled to occur on August 1. And then the nodes and miners have 6 months to fully adopt the new code, so a fork is possible for 6 months past that Aug 1 date.

Just hunker down and enjoy the ride!
are you saying that if bip 148 is successful then also there will a chain split within 6 months?
