I guess it would have been fine though more easier now.
The fact is that it can still be ahead and as new world wars are predicted, it is quite possible for humanity to remain without the Internet. The only question is when this all happens.

You can all say that, but when you try to live in a place where there are no internet connection, you will feel that you need it, that you can't live without it, the same as your phone or laptop. You can just say that because it is easy to say, but man, it is so hard to do, I can't even imagine what am I doing without it.

At least we would be alive, unlike 'entertained to death' like Roger Waters sings.

Yeah we'd all still be alive and surviving but society would be a whole lot different from how it is today. The internet has affected most of people's lives today and some people even depend on it for their livelihood. It's not just a form of entertainment now or a source of information as the internet in far more than just that.

But is it not convenient now to find many answers in minutes using the Internet? Previously, it took a lot of time to spend in the library and there was no guarantee that we could find the right answer.

There is a difference from memorizing something in a long term memory and something that is short term based.

Basically neuroactivity paths change.

Our brain is learning to disregard information found online, and this connection becomes stronger every time we experience it. So the more we use Google, the less likely we are to retain what we see.

Our brains use information stored in the long-term memory to facilitate critical thinking. We need these unique memories to understand and interact with the world around us. If we rely on Google to store our knowledge, we may be losing an important part of our identity.

Yes, with the Internet we do not try to remember something important, because we always rely on the help of the Internet.

Your guess?

I think we will be more close to each other. Yet less advancement will happen. It would be hard to communicate from afar, and it will be hard to look for a job. It will also be hard to disseminate information and no bitcoin. There would be more disadvantage than advantage.

Just remember the 80's. That time when there are still no internet. People are happier and sociable. People would have to start talking to each other more, like they used to, and the whole morning chat at the post office will return. Kids would have to used the library to find stuff out instead of using Google, which will get them out of the house and learning to do things for themselves. People will receive letters instead of emails. I’m quite sure as a human race we’d adapt and persevere if Internet was not invented.

Your guess?

The early 1990's a lot more social interaction, less technology meet ups and a lot of people bowling or hanging out in real person at the arcade because there was less online hangouts.
So a good era but now some of that 90's stuff is moving into this century with immersive gaming etc. (Bowling screens still show 90 animations though lol)

Internet makes us connected to each other it's now part of our society we are going to suffer without it

Things will not be as immediate as we have now but some things will be better, with things like smart phones it is almost impossible to have a conversation with anyone with suffering interruption after interruption.

And without the Internet there used to be a lot of bad deeds, it all depends on the education of a person. Now it is simply impossible to imagine life without the Internet, it provides basic or additional income for millions of people.

Each society has its own priorities. Yes indeed, there was no Internet, but there were expansion joints. For example, we had cheap gasoline and more people traveled, there were discos where people communicated in person and many more.

The internet has actually caused as much good as bad to the human race. While it is true that the internet has given me a lot of opportunities and things to get busy with the entire day, I'd still appreciate the simple life several decades ago when people interact with real people face to face and not through some social media account.

As a matter of fact, without the internet, I should have been mingling with my friends outside.  Grin Grin

Yes, the Internet has brought benefit and harm. It all depends on what kind of hands he gets. I brought an opportunity to earn.

I told before internet is a big advantage and it's really great that all information is just click away...But isn't impossible to live without it, people would spend more time together but science and technology go and we must follow it
I think without internet we could have had more peace and happiness in the world. Social media alone as a sector of the internet is being used to create crime all over the world. Free porn, jihadists recruitment, hacker and scamming activities are all done on internet. People could have been holy, just and righteous without internet.

Wars were before and without the Internet. And now with the help of the Internet you can earn and learn something new, you just need to use it correctly.
