Sit back, relax, eat some nachos and have a drink.
What do you all think about Quantum Resistant Ledger (QRL) ? It trades now only on Bittrex if I am correct, and the price just keeps rising. I hear (from those who understand it) that the tech behind it is solid. Deserves a spot in the list?

Even the announcer of the coin said it was Bitcoin but with quantum-resistant hashing. Old news. Bitcoin can EASILY update with stronger hashing functions. I've been told this many many times from people who work with Bitcoin.

Verium and Vericoin have a solid chance, Especially when Gemini comes out and merges the Mining power of Verium and the POST of Vericoin. Quite an awesome project IMO

I'd say that although Ethereum has been performing really well, ETH already has a cap of over 30 Billion $, even a 10x increase would bring it's cap to 300 Billion $, 3 times the current market cap for all altcoins + bitcoin.... in less than 6 Months left.

Although in the long run Bitcoin, Eth and other high market cap coins are more stable and represent a safer investment, if what you're looking for is the biggest profit by the end of the year, I would suggest ICO's and small marketcap altcoins, because they have the potential to grow. A 5 million $ ICO can grow 100 fold and still only be at a 500 million $ valuation, so assuming you're not being the whole flock of coins, if what you're after is ROI, then altcoins are the best bet. I think there's some very interesting projects coming up, such as Humaniq, Monaco, NVO etc

All the coin are controlled by the developer and what ever gain they achieve if once the developer things about to scam it he will sell all his coins and just run away. Every one is telling about ETH, DASH, MONERO, but no one knows that how many coins are horded by the developers and how much safe are they , i mean what if any time they sell their coins what will be the status of that coin.

Bitcoin set the foundations for digital money.
Then Dash/Monero set the foundations for financial privacy.
Ethereum set the foundations for smart contracts and digital credit (Ethereum tokens).

The next logical step, to me, seems to be either:

1) Decentralized storage (Siacoin, Shift, Maidsafe, LBRY, etc.). Decentralized internet in particular has been very popular since lately there has been increased web censorship (ex: ZeroNet project).
2) Decentralized interchain communication (Blocknet, Ark, Cosmos, NVO etc). More a long term play as this will only be really important once blockchains see steady use and you need to use the services of a different blockchain. For example, if financial privacy is of utmost importance, and you solely transact in Monero. You do not want to trust a central entity. Then decentralized interchain communication will let you use other blockchain services with minimal fees.

I'm betting mostly on Shift/Blocknet as they have very undervalued market caps in comparison to others - and have seen stable growth in the last several months.

Also, Iconomi if you were in it since the start of the year as it's already quite high ($2.90) - see my fundamental analysis I posted a few months ago when it was in the $0.50 range: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.18298220.

For top value, I think ethereum might pass BTC and hold the top spot for a while. But in total gains, I think lbry still has a long ways to go.

I think monero will.
I mean, it is anonymous and it is obviously under rated, people are just going to know about it. It looks like most of people are just ignoring it, i don't know why..

You forgot to put Bitcoin on the list. When ethereum passes it, it will be an altcoin.

Do you know what an altcoin is? Alternative to bitcoin blockchain!

Clown.

Bitcoin is not the first crypto and is only the primary as long as it is the primary. When it gets passed by ethereum or something else it will no longer be the primary, it will be an altcoin. Coin loyalists are a fucking joke.

It is not the first crypto, however it is the first DECENTRALIZED crypto! It is not he only one and I don't blindly support any currency, I own a bunch of altcoins myself, so calling me a bitcoin loyalist is wrong.
