Poloniex still my favorite, i've moved all my funds there.

you may want to take a look here http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2b46iq/psa_poloniex_2fa_is_worthless/
never keep your funds on exchanges if realy dont have to (for trading), i know its seams like a better idea than to keep sending here and there, but its safer, and safety should come first.
i thought mt.gox educated people about this, you dont want to end up like this:

cheers

After the fall of Mt. Gox ...I think this is very important Q to all Bitcoin newbies like me.

I trade on BTC-E but only ever transfer on there what i can afford to lose as it is pretty anonymous but it has lasted the test of time so far, so maybe that is a good thing and it will be around for awhile to come. It is cheap and it has a fun environment if you have over $100 in your bankroll Smiley

I've only used an exchange once, but signed up with like 4 before I found what I wanted. I wanted to use my own wallet, not an online one, low fee, and wanted to pay with a card or easy cash transfer. I ended up using BitQuick because it met my parameters. It was a smooth transaction and I will use them again.

I use in person transactions on localbitcoins, then do a personal quote on the spot after the 1st transaction to get a better deal.

I use Coinbase for the most part.

Sometimes use BTC-e to flop some coins back and forth but would never
risk trying to send/receive fiat because of all the horror stories I've read on the forums.

The sooner people stop using Exchangers to hold their Bitcoins for long term , the sooner exchangers stop getting hacked .
don't get it to be honest , also for users who provide their ID and passport .. like where is the whole purpose of BTC here ? I don't see it .

im using vip.bitcoin.co.id

best exchange at my country

but minimum fee Rp.25,000 Cry

it's too high

lol.... 25,000 Indonesian Rupiah is equivalent to 1.94 US Dollars. Hmm... I agree... the fees is a bit high. But when compared to the bank transaction fee in the European Union and the United States, it is tolerable.

One more aspect, when talking about the exchanges is the deposit insurance.
So far, any of the bitcoin exchanges was daring to take that risk (correct me, if I am wrong on that one).
The exchange I am using, Bitcoin.de (together with Fidor bank) seems to be the first to do so, at least within German statutory rights (up to 100k€):

you can use 3rd party exchanger to minimize that fee
just sell VIP voucher to them

yes i always use the voucher and then sold to a third party, it is cost effective, although we withdrawals above $ 250, do not take the amount of expenses that are not too big.

and most of my happy, sold to 3rd parties, very fast money go to our atm no more than two minutes

So far I've used LocalBitcoins, Cryptsy, BTC-E, and Coinbase to exchange Crypto into another crypto, fiat into BTC, or BTC into Fiat.  Not day trading though.

For that, I'll eagerly await Gemini's launch.

I don't use any , since they exchangers are online and they will eventually gets hacked . and crying won't help us out when that time comes.
the only one that could be safe to use in my opinion is LocalBitcoins which is Decentralized just like Bitcoin .

Let's don't confuse two things: one is to change your fiat to or out of BTC, the other is to store your BTC. Exchanges should be used for the solely purpose of exchanging the coins, as the name says, and as soon as the coins are exchanged they should be moved to a safer storage.

No one is asking you to store your coins in exchanges. Exchanges are meant for trading, and should be used as such.
