$5k is a serious amount for a first investment. Do you already have an experience of cryptocurrency investment or it will be your first investment? I suggest to not invest whole sum in the beginning, but to invest only a part. Lets says $1k in Bitcoin and $1k in other altcoins and see how things are going and are you satisfied with the result.
I suggest to you invest some to ethereum, more on ripple and some of binance because that three coin is my choice if we are talking about the three possible choices for your money. Your capital is big and if you invested to the right project they have chances your money to turn into hundred thousands dollars but if you invested to the wrong coin possible your money will lost or become less than 5k dollars.
I agree with you that would be have chances to earn more profit form those three mention etherium, ripple and binance.Actually I just read some thread in here that have a good news about binance that would be having burn in this coming april 15 I dont if is true or not but I believe that person posted.
This is one of the biggest mistakes everyone makes. It is very wrong to ask people for investment advice. Everyone analyzes and determines their own risks. not everyone has the same risk ratio. and therefore your chances of losing it are very high.
That was a good amount of capital when it comes to trading or investment. If i am the one to invest, I will take it all in bitcoin. If I were you, I will not hesitate to buy and hodl btc. Bitcoin can hit much profits than altcoins, especially these recent days that many people or organizations which bought massive amount of bitcoins. I think it will hit up to 100k usd in this year 2021.
Bitcoin is a good suggestion indeed, and taking all in might work if you have the guts to handle the risk.
But, if you are not that type of investor you always have options, you can divide your money and choose solid projects, aside from Bitcoin try looking for asset within top 10 cryptos.
Do some good research and sort it out, that huge amount of capital you have is very likely enough to earned decent if you find the
project/s to invest, be wise not to step inside without solid knowledge, your money can easily be wiped of and burned this high
risk venue of investment needs extra effort and time.

Uniswap? Personally I will not risk like this new things because the main profit I have gotten this year came from Bitcoin. My investment has gotten to more than four times this year and still increasing, although I have sold about sixty percent of the investment when the price got to 42,000 dollars, the remaining money there in my wallet has been going up and price is over 50,000 dollars right now.Do you think about UNISWAP? i see it have a top rank in DEFI.

With amount of 5k dollars, of a course this is a very large capital, I recommend that you buy BTC, ETH BNB and Litecoin, because this coin is the most popular coin today and can has very positive impact on the future development of the crypto, and I am sure if you hold these coins you will get very large profit.

5k $ is a pretty big amount and quite a big risk to invest all 5k $ in a currency.
I think you should split the $ 5k and invest in a few big projects in the current market.
50% invested in BTC
25% invested in ETH
25% invested in BNB

I dont think that the question is correct, the question should be completed by saying how much % of your weatlh or financial portfolio is 5000USD. If it is all of your hard earned money, I would suggest going with quality NFT projects , with relatively high cap. If it is only 5% of your portfolio, i would say divide it and go for smaller cap coins .
If I had seen your post 5-6 days ago. I would have suggested you to buy Cur. Cur 55 cents in the last 2-3 days is now it 5 dollars. It has many updates in April. AMA will be on YouTube in a few days.

Everyone knows that this year started awesome, no year has started this awesome before, usually the ends are good and starts are bad but last year ended awesomely and this year became even more awesome, the price when the year started was 29k, that is right we were literally under 30k when the year started, if we go back evne more, it was under 20k just early December months, and right now we are fighting over 50k in the end. That is why I think we are not going to be like any other year seen before, we are going to make as much money as we can and that is why I am very much in love with bitcoin as well, it is an awesome situation and everyone should invest into high level crypto currencies. Fiat world is designed to make you lose money, there is no way you could make any money from that, but if you are lucky and smart enough to invest into right crypto, you could make serious money from it here.

in my opinion apart from bitcoin, the top 5 altcoins are good to choose from.

Yes, you mentioned dogecoin well. Buying Ethereum is good advice it'll still be a good action after the purchase to transfer your ethers to ETH 2.0 and receive 30% per annum in ethereum. It's worth understanding if you do this then ethereums won't be available to you for some time... But to be serious etherium is a good choise, but all altcoins are more risky than btc. At this point in time, I would choose DASH. If you compare it with the market, it has not even grown yet. So he is the most promising for me at the moment.
