Something I want to mention for those who haven't invested yet. Look at the time graph, if we were invested before the running time. I think after the two months, we could feel the same bad. For now, a 5K investment isn't a huge amount of money, but you could earn a huge amount of money from it. At least select 10 different altcoins, then there will be zero chances to lose money.

I don't agree with this strategy. You need to do thorough research before investing in any altcoin. I would recommend investing in not more than three different altcoins. If you go for a higher number, then in all probability you will be investing in at least some of the shitcoins. Also, following a large number of coins can be cumbersome, especially if you are not a full-time cryptocurrency traders. And you need to follow them frequently, since altcoins are much more volatile when compared to BTC.

With 5$ you should invest into ethereum. Because ethereum is a trusted altcoin and investing in such coins has little risk.

It was a good idea but somehow the price as of today is really high and the risk of losing is quite possible as the dumps will come next. If we are going to invest now, expect for a long wait before we gain from our investment coz we can not be sure that everything will be fine next days and see the market still increasing. We can't ignore the volatility and at any time, the price may decline.
If we can spare time to wait for some corrections, that be a smart thing to do.

When it comes to altcoins i suggest to invest in ethereum. It's the safest investment that I can think of. Imagine it's been the 2nd best cryptocurrency out there for who knows how many years and it hasnt been topped by any other altcoin since then. But there are other great altcoins other than that. You can try to invest in Litecoin if you want which is the 3rd best cryptocurrency (for me).

If you split your money 50/50 between bitcoins and ETH then you are in a real good position for the next rallies. Even though both coins are fairly expensive at the moment there are a lot of indications that they are going to rise even more. There is no real upside cap for these coins.

what type of investment do you want? is it a long term or a short term investment?
$ 5k is a lot of value, if you have the desire to invest you should invest in Altcoins that have potential and are likely to be better in the future than now, for example Cardano, Ethereum, BTT, Aurora and BNB. I think these Altcoins are a good choice to invest right now.

You can try to find a project that will do an IDO (Initial Dex Offering) on Polkastarter. However, you have to compete with other people to get their Whitelist spot. Investing in a project on Polkastarter only requires a small amount maybe around $300 per person. You can also buy some coins on Binance that have a low cap like $CELR, $ONE, $REEF, or $ PERL.

It was a really good decision you made at that time but did you really buy it? Uniswap performed well over these two months. Although 5k is not very much it could give you a nice profit for such short time.

Top 5.
An investment firm would be interested in getting coins that are at least on the top 5-10. They have been looking into its volume and liquidity but about the use case, I don't have anything to add with that.
Grayscale is investing a lot in cryptocurrencies and after buying a lot of bitcoin, they're diversifying in alts. Other than ADA, BNB is another good coin that I see with the increase that I've seen in bitcoin. It didn't go back to $300.
