For the beginners, they won't be easy with the price swings. All they care about is the profit and will eventually forget that there's a lot of risk that they're taking.

They'll be worried upon buying and will ask if it's going to go up or not and that's what they have to remember when they've bought any of those cryptos for long term. But to be safe, they should buy bitcoin as a beginner.

I agree and crypto trading is so popular because it's volatile and hence risky. I like the list but some coins like Litecoin are really old and I don't see much value for investors in such coins because these coins are sort of saturated, the price doesn't change much and there is nothing really happening behind the project that adds any sort of value either.

Polygon is rated very high by many investors and I have not heard foul about the project from anyone although I haven't done any deep research on it yet so not sure about the future of the coin but if word of mouth is anything to go by, it seems pretty solid.

And hey I always say and will repeat again, BTC is still among the best investment options even though it might look the chances of profit are gone with BTC, in 2024 we might see some big things happen.

All the list from numbers 1 to 5 are good long term investment. ETH, BTC, Cardano, DOT and BNB this projects are no doubt will survive the market in the long run. BNB is one of the best chains out there and considered as one of the competitors of ETH. Same as ADA and DOT who got massive attention from investors previous bull market.

that depends on what you consider long term investment. Someone got 1000x return while hodling what some call shitcoins for just six months. There is no perfect cryptocurrency for long term investment. Choosing from top 50 is a good decision while diversifying your assets into low market cap tokens that are just starting up. Hodling btc for long term is not same as it used to be five years ago, it's not going to get you to the moon with your investment unless you buy large chunk..what you get with btc is less volatility as we've seen in past several weeks.

maybe bitcoin or ethereum be the first choice in this case. however, not everyone has a lot of money to have 1 coin between the two coins. So, I might prefer BNB for coins that have the potential to be thousands of dollars, but still have a low price. well, next, you just need to do some research on that

A lot of factors that could affect the growth of ETH in the future, market competition is going stronger, and now we are adopting the new platform. If we saw that the ETH price is at $2k, maybe soon it was that half of it. But of course, ETH will still survive as ERC20 tokens still exist but with the massive growth of BSC projects, we can expect a different trend in the coming days.
Thus, if we aim for a long-term investment, I'd choose BTC and BNB considering the current situation, ETH will be another option.

Like most other people, I also always consider bitcoin alone the only cryptocurrency we need for long term investments which means we may invest into any other coin as well but those coins or tokens only good for short term investments and may not perform well or last for longer duration. With bitcoin, we can remain calm and cool as bitcoin performed well in the past ten years hence why not for another 10 or 20 or 50 years?

Yes, that's right as one might think, but Binance and ethereum are not serious issues at the moment, and it will all go down if there is a new asset market in crypto that is developing, and who wants to invest long term or future, should watch as deep as it used to be, before the things that didn't want to happen were all.

Just take a look at bitcoin's history and successful run over the years, you will see right away why many people and huge organizations are choosing it for long term investments. Nevertheless, diversifying can still be effective specially if lots of crypto or altcoins are doing well. Just be careful on picking which altcoins you will invest to other than bitcoin, you can get some hint on what are the best at the moment through suggestions of other investors.
