To be sure Bitcoin and Ethereum are very good for long-term investments. Apart from Bitcoin and Ethereum, coins like Binance Coin, Polkadot, Cardano and Polygon are also good for long-term investment coins. For me Cardano (Ada) Bsc (BNB) and (TRX) this three mentioned tokens are my best option for long time investment, I did not mention ETH not because it's not wort my investment but, I have almost seen it all. The three coins I mentioned also have their own blockchain which supports tokens to be under them. And most of them has great potential which are yet to be unleashed. Trx is a great coin with good future, it's current price is not worth the value of that blockchain, in times to come tron will do wonders and turns those who have been accumulating it little by little very rich just like doge, but it will be way more than that. Same goes with Cardano and that of Bsc.
The think the cryptocurrencies that is really best for long term are the following Ripple (XRP), Binance coin (BNB), Solana (SOL), Polkadot (DOT) and Polygon (MATIC).
Cardano and Tron are two coins worth investing in for the long term, as prices are still very low at the moment. If we invest in Bitcoin and Ethereum, the current price is high enough, if we hold it, then what price are we targeting?

Tron prices have gone up recently, but I am not witnessing a corresponding increase in either acceptability or adoption. Even Justin Sun mostly keep quiet nowadays about his invention.
If it is to investa long time then I suggest bitcoin and ethereum are the second choice given that both ethereum and bitcoin are now very high. Unlike in 2017, which means bitcoin isn't as expensive as it is now. But if wanting to get a quick profit, I might suggest ethereum
It is true that this market has a lot of options and no one can say which is best for everyone, as each of us will have different goals and access to this market. For myself, the top coins will be my long-term companion options BTC ETH BNB ... also the new coins are also very good, but I don't use too much attention for them because they are basically based on existing trends and are often difficult to sustain after the market enters a deep bearish phase.

The projects that I think will grow in the long term in terms of blockchain scale and value are blockchain platforms that allow smart contract implementation. everything you mentioned is the best coin ever in cryptocurrencies. but the best in the history of cryptocurrencies is BITCOIN. because every year Bitcoin continues to increase in price. so Bitcoin is very suitable for us to make as a long-term investment. and this has been proven by many people. and for Altcoins that we can make as a long-term investment is Ethereum and TRX. because in my opinion both have a lot of fans and have a strong platform and continue to make changes and good developments for the future

It is also the best performing asset for over a decade in the financial market. After bitcoin, we can then consider Ethereum and maybe Binance Coin.

Yes, they are right in the top 5 cryptocurrencies and you might shy away from larger potential coins but at least you know that you can't go wrong with these investments. Long-term they require little management if any and all you do is buy, wait and sell. The nature of these coins therefore makes it extremely simple.
Maybe I think in the next decade it will be more extraordinary than now, as time goes by there must be a definite moment for us to get it.
Of all the things you mentioned above, in my opinion, all have fundamentals and are proven and worth investing in. My favorite is still BTC, for the type of long-term investment I tend to prefer ETH, the reason is simple when correcting BTC or pumping, ETH is always at the forefront.

I think all crypto is best for long term investment, of course, I mean to say the ones with good project insight and mission. All the listed are good but I always be long for Bitcoin and Ethereum, those two are the real deal.

Don't really know why Litecoin is on that list but still man LTC has no smart contract yet and basically just act like all other alts and bond to have congestion issue so I don't see the need compared to other coins like Cardano DOT or ETH with crazy devs and higher competitor to each other
