It is actually very difficult to say which cryptocurrency is the best for an investment or best to buy.It is wise not to only invest in one cryptocurrency, but to diversify so your winnings can make up for your loses.You need to diversify and do your homework researching the team behind the cryptocurrency and what is special about it. You certainly don’t want to invest in something that is just there to speculate and don’t offer something different like technical improvements over another coin.In my opinion aside from bitcoin and ethereum,you should consider investing or buy Litecoin,NEM and ripple.That most likely I can suggest for you.

Currently Etherum,Ripple,waves,monero are best option for long term investment or trading.If you want to hold for long term do not invest at one place diversify the investment it will allow you minimize the risk.

and now ethereum classic is increased although the increase is not too high, I am sure that we can make a profit from this. and I guess ethereum classic will make a new highest price and maybe it will follow with the ethereum. and I see Stratis will make a new highest price too but we cannot see this if bitcoin price is a rally to make a new price.

I just thinking before the ethereum is exploded and I am discussing with my friend and we agree that ethereum classic is the real ethereum but for now, I think the ethereum classic needs to wait for a while because the ethereum wants to increase again. but I still have a hope that the ethereum classic will increase too and maybe will follow the ethereum in the future.

I would choose only bitcoin for the beginning. And according to trend of bitcoin price during this week i would decide to buy some altcoins or not. because altcoins will follow bitcoin for sure.
A person that is currently inexperienced to how the market moves should only buy bitcoin at the beginning and take it slow, there are always going to be opportunities to make a fortune later but if you do not develop strategies and study how to trade then it is going to be impossible to get those kind of results, this is what happened in December when people bought bitcoin at 20k and sold for a loss at 6k.
Today almost all the market is red and it's a good opportunity to buy coins. I also want to buy a few coins XEM, ripple, 1st. It seems to me that they have great potential.
