Staking is also a form of investment right?
I think the correct question would be staking or just holding it on your wallet.
And for me it is better to stake it to your money grow rather than just letting it sit on your wallet.
But you should be careful what alt-coin would you use on staking.

When you enter in this industry the first thing that you will do is to learn the basic about crypto, also on how you can generate profit. Staking can gives you profit but just a small percent offer of the platform that you choose. In investing in crypto it needs to research which project is good. Both has risks between staking and investing, staking is also a form of investment. So you have to gain knowledge between these two so you can choose your preference that can lead to profit.

Staking is essentially an investment. Investing with an interest rate like in a bank.
Those who came up with this are great fellows, because the cryptocurrency depends on how much of it is in the hands of the holders.
The less people sell, the higher the potential price. Staking allows you to keep the price of a coin and generate income.

I have made a profit from staking and investing, when compared to the profit generated from investing, it is much greater than staking.
That is a reality that I have experienced myself, so I will without doubt choose investing over staking. But the risks faced are bigger investing,
therefore knowledge is needed to be successful in investing. So don't be lazy to learn all things related to investment, so you have good
knowledge, and can read the movement of coins in the market.

Staking only gives a percentage of profit. And it takes months before you reach ROI.
While if you invested, though it has higher risks. There is a chance that it can double or take back your capital at an earlier time.
Both needs knowledge, you can't just join some staking program not knowing how you will earn. Same as investment, you must analyze the risks first before getting involved in such schemes.
With what you two stated, which is better between staking or investing depends on the person's preference. If a person wants a high-risk, high reward, it is better to go with an investment but if a person wants a less risky investment that could still make a profit but low he should go for staking.

choose investing because when you invest this is the way to increase the amount of money or property you have invested .just make sure the investment is correct and legal.

Stakes are a hazardous route for making a profit since they rely upon the projects and the vast majority of activities are trick and Ponzi.
I lost heaps of cash their so I can not prescribe anybody to consider the stake.

I think it should be less risky to stake on deflationary/scarce coins with potential for steady growth.
I would avoid coins that aren't very useful, secure, decentralized, viable, easy-to-use, have committed/talented developers, have good strategies to keep attracting users etc

if you avoid that then you can use bitcoin instead because until now only bitcoin is very good for investment, even though it can't be used for staking but the results of investing from bitcoin have been very high. so I don't think there is any need to participate in staking projects that aren't necessarily safe.

I would prefer for investing because I can earn bigger profit than staking. I already tried staking and it's just a small percentage of profit for a long period of time. But of course in investing you need to do a research and study about the project that you want to invest and you also need enough knowledge about it.
Completely agree here and one can take the example how Bitcoin investors made profits and compare how much they would have earned had they bought a token and earned staking rewards on that, surely Bitcoin investment profits are way higher than any staking rewards so it all depends on which coin one wants to stake or invest and based on that the decision can be taken.

I also avoid staking because you have to lose control over your coins during staking and that is not a safe option no matter how trusted the exchange is and even if it is Binance, I would still prefer to hold my keys with myself.

We all have our point and we have the right to make our own decision, actually staking is not bad, just know the risk and don't put everything to have in one exchange, just learn to minimize the risk, this is what we do. Exchange like Binance won't offer that to us if it does not give benefits for both parties and Binance is by far one of the most legit exchange in the market, they are not likely going to scam investors.

I would say that both got their own advantages, but in the long run investing is what would bring you bigger profits. In staking your coins are kept in place, basically forozen until you choose to decide what you want to with it. Although it's easier said than done. With investing you can broaden your portfolio by investing into multiple assets with the same amount of money you can use to stake. So for me, if you're looking for quick bucks, staking is the answer, but if you want long-term profits, investing is what you should go for.

I think before making investment for the staking of earning profits we should need to know about the project in detail, if the team and the project is fine and having some good market reputation then go ahead and make some good handsome amount to you can earn better profits on your staking. I have an investment in one project presently which is good and sufficient for me.

To me, Staking for projects with a low market cap or outside the top 20 CMC is gambling. Smiley
Such projects do not have strong financial funds behind support so ONE's price will also be very vulnerable. When the price is lower, your staking ratio will also decrease in the same direction. Sometimes you incur a loss when the price of ONE falls more than the profit you receive. So be careful when staking in such projects, the risk is very high.

True, staking is similar to gambling to some extent, if the coin price rises, you will get a lot of profits, but if the opposite happens and the price drops, then your loss will certainly be great.
I tried my luck once with a staking in the Atomic Wallet token (AWC) and I was lucky that the price of the token increased nearly three times and my profits tripled, but then the opposite happened and the token price decreased.

Staking and investing can be used interchangeably, when you are staking, you are investing. You can now look at various types of investment that are available in crypto space to know the one that really worth it for a long time.

The open blockchain platform Harmony has announced that it will start supporting staking from now, in an effort to create a blockchain-based infrastructure.

Of course, as I know, there are many exchanges that support staking.
I want to fully understand what is staking and what are the best coins and platforms that we can do staking and give good profits?

My most important question: Which is better, staking or investing?

equally important, because they have their respective benefits. if I choose clearly I will focus on investing, just minimizing. but staking is also good, for a fairly long period. As for investing, yes because I can control the price at any time and take advantage at that time.
back again depending on your taste. that's just my opinion.

this time staking is much better than investing but that depends on how much your coins. Remember staking use proof of stake, the more coins you stake the more reward you got. I have been seeing some people were also complaining about very low ROI that they got it from investing in the IEO recently.

On very few cases that you will see that staking make ROI more than investing. The staking is slow in return or accumulation but investment is more profitable. Imagine the increase with bitcoin since 2moths ago. Investing at a right timing can really see your account growing in profit.

From the point of view of reliability or security - I would not stake my coins on third-party resources or incomprehensible smart contracts! Not your keys - not your coins! Wink
But if you buy a node with the POS algorithm is a good solution, especially if you believe in the project...
