this time staking is much better than investing but that depends on how much your coins. Remember staking use proof of stake, the more coins you stake the more reward you got. I have been seeing some people were also complaining about very low ROI that they got it from investing in the IEO recently. That means the hype for IEO has gone.
This time people were starting to get the easiest way to get passive income like staking on BSC.
Honestly, im still doing both investing and staking. If you can did both and why not? That brings you good passive income and at the same time you can get capital gain through investing in the legit coins.

Your question is really vague. It makes a huge difference what you stake or what you invest.

If you are referring strictly to altcoins, they are inherently risky. Let's be honest - the big majority of altcoins out there in the market have little to no actual utility. Their price is purely speculative.
Investing is again, very general. There are a lot of investment strategies and infinite possibilities of portfolio models. You, and only you can make the decision for yourself. Remember that it doesn't need to black or white. You can mix staking with investing.
The truth is: investors really do not care about the products because they are just focusing on price appreciation wherein they will buy at low and they will sell it at high for them to make money, I'm more in investing and not staking especially in altcoins because what you just said it is so risky. Try to study the altcoins wherein after a year they lose their value then imagine if you choose to stake and of course for sure you will incur huge losses unlike in investing you will just sell it if the price of the token reach the target profit or if your invalidation level hit. When I do investing I make sure that I have cut losses because it is part of my risk management after all, for me investing is good than staking but still that question is subjective and it is really depend in your risk tolerance.

I think investing is a process of putting something on a particular project that will earn you something good in the future. Many people are still investing despite the year is coming to an end because they believe they can still achieve something good from their investment. Bitcoin price is reducing that is causing many trader fear about what they have invested to have a good profit from it.
I prefer investing than staking which can cause you lose your profit if you don't study the market very well.many people loss their money because of staking their coins for a long time that make scammer have access to their address details.

Staking is worth than investing if you choose correct coin for your staking like BNB or TRX, every month they will sent staking reward and you have double income not only for investing but also you can get profit from staking coin, for BNB you can earn launchpad coin and some time BNB burn more higher supply and make price going up. When you have chance for selling your need waiting until the end staking time but for investing you can sell any time do you want.
Staking is quite good when we know in fact we wanted to hold that coin longer, it will be better to be at staked since we will have a chance to accumulate more coins. Better stake only on coins that we trusted in the long run so even if we stake it we know that some how sooner we will be able to earn again with additional coins given thru staking.

Gaining passive profits is really good especially if we do trust the project that we choose, it's more than investing since you are also expecting generated profits out from your hold assets.

There are always bad and good side and it's only the investors who really assess the future of his investment who can decide which is which between the two,.

The answer will be differ from each opinions of people regarding to this matter, personal experienced
are always different from each traders and investors, You have to really observed and assess properly
whatever you think is better for your investment.

which is better investing by investing in the right coins to be able to get a profit every investment must have different levels and that must be done in order to maximize staking profits, for now, is not too good because it usually takes up to months sometimes the price of the coin can dropping drastically resulting in losses because the purchase price does not match the selling price.

Personally, i prefer investing over staking. Both have their risks, but the risk is bigger in staking compared to investing.

In staking, you have to take in consideration the profit and the platform. You need to have big enough capital to make it work and at the same time, you have to pick your trusted platform just to make sure you won’t regret in the end. There’s high probability of losing rather than earning. It may seem that you’re gaining something, but over a period of time, the content of your portfolio will depreciate. It’ll cost you numerous coins to have nothing great in return.

In addition, in staking you’ll have to put your capital in certain span of time wherein you cannot move, or sell it away. You cannot withdraw that easily unlike in investing where you have the freedom to move your assets whenever you notice movement on its price and value in the market.

So if i were you, choose investing over staking. You’ll have the entire control over your assets in investing. If you feel like you’re on the losing end, you can sell it anytime and find another worth your investment money.

There are projects that you can stake specially when mainnet comes in. But I am not an investor so I never staked at any project. My ideal situation is to buy coins at specific moment and dispatch them all at a specified time as well. I am not a long-term hodler because I want an insta cash. Therefore, investments and staking does not fit to my strategy. But it is better to stake your coins if ever you trapped at the highest position.
I never tried staking because I think its not suit well for me. Also, I’m into investing some coins in my portfolio and when the price reached on my desired amount I just sell it to take profit. So everyone of us has its own preferences on which we can gains benefits about of our funds when we do its either staking or investing.

I tried my luck with staking one year ago, and the results were not good. Almost every coin which I staked went down in the next few months, and in the end I lost a part of my capital and was forced to pull out in order to limit my losses. I think it will be better to stick to the PoW coins such as Bitcoin and BCH, as their exchange rate volatility is not as high as the PoS coins.

My first few attempts in staking were also not really profitable. I had to learn the hard way that just because someone was doing good on the past doesn't mean is going to keep making the same returns. At the moment I only do my own investments, so if I lose now its my own fault and I can't blame anyone else. They only form if staking I do from time to time is in poker. Most of the poker softwares these days offer a very easy and cheap way to stake good players in the big tournaments.

this i why i never do staking not because of the experience of others but because i wasnt familiar with it and i never tried staking . i got this feeling that i cant earn big if i stake the small coins that i got from someone and decided to hodl it on my own  . on gambling there are also  called staking but i wonder if they work differently from staking a coin but i think we can earn faster profits in it and the coins that will be used are mainstream coins not those tokens and altcoins . investing is the currently the best choice because there is no commitment on it ,

I think staking will be better. It is less risky. There are many things to keep in mind when investing. Such as where you are investing, whether the profit will come, whether the project is good, etc .. So, staking will be good.

Both are risk for me same with the better idea, however you still gain or lose dependes on what path you choose, whether stake or investment , the real question here is how stable your profit will be that can support you with the monthly budget's and need you'll be needing. For me coz i have a business and im running it smoothly goes with the farming, where i harvest and sell it to the market when the demands are in needs.

Staking is a great option among the many options apart from investing. if you choose the right coins, not fake coins, your crypto asset will automatically increase with the rewards added to your account as the value of the coins you hold continues to increase over a long period.

If you are asking which one is better staking or investing, then my answer is both good if you are careful in choosing coins, both are investment methods in crypto. The difference is that for the staking profit generated there is a certain period, namely after the deposit period is over or after it completes your contract. As for investing anytime you can take advantage, there is no third party who controls your investment.

The problem with staking coins is the scalability because giving out rewards for stakers is easy but you need to have a solid plan to maintain and conserve the price for the token because there will always be dumps happening by staking rewards gained by stakers.

I personally see the token before doing staking for example Tron has a solid plan and has only gone up so makes it a good coin to stake but that doesn't mean all the coins are good for staking. Be aware of their scalable model and if they have one, then it is safe to stake.

The drop in the value of the coin must be smaller than the stake rewards. Suppose a coin offers 10% stake rewards and the drop is 12% then you are actually losing out 2% every cycle.

It is better to invest in crypto is possible to get more profit in long term investment by choosing the right currency with crypto. See ratio of authorized capital to paid-up capital. staking or investing is very difficult to issue bonus and right shares if the amount of these two capitals is close. the previously approved capital must be increased. bonuses of investors are much more profitable. It is important to ensure that the profit is made at the time of purchase and not at the time of sale. In other words if you can buy shares at a good price there will be more chances of good profit. If the price falls more at the time of purchase the possibility of profit will decrease even if it is a little.

Staking is also a form of investment but I think the difference is you can't get a quick ROI on it. You bought something to let it rest for some time to generate profit for you.

Investing is a broad term, there are low and high risk investments. Some can generate a profit for you in a daily basis and there are others that takes years to reap a profit from it.

I have always preferred staking because while you are staking you are making more money in my mind. Obviously if you invest into a coin for 100 dollars and stake it and make 10 dollars but the price of that coin drops to 90 dollars you made nothing, whereas if you invest into a coin 100 dollars and the value increases 10 dollars you made 10 dollar profit hence it is not really about what you do with the currency, it is about what currency does in price.

However whenever I see a staking coin I feel like it is giving me a profit from the existence of it and that is something I just like way too much, I could recoup all of my investment to a coin purely on staking profits if I can hold it enough. Obviously it is more like 5-10% for good ones which means it would take 6-7 years to recoup it all but it is still a good idea to have passive income that way for me.

The open blockchain platform Harmony has announced that it will start supporting staking from now, in an effort to create a blockchain-based infrastructure.
source: https://www.harmony.one/
Of course, as I know, there are many exchanges that support staking.
I want to fully understand what is staking and what are the best coins and platforms that we can do staking and give good profits?

My most important question: Which is better, staking or investing?

Staking is a form of investment here in the crypto universe. The difference is that when you stake, your coins or tokens are locked for a certain period of time and you get some interest after the lock-up period expires. I do stake some coins or tokens, as well as investing and HODLing some promising assets in my own instincts (and aware of the risks as well). We just need to have risk management both time and financially.

If you just invest in a coin or token that relies on market price situation, that’s what we call “normal” investment. But if you invest and wait until the number of your tokens have increased regardless of price for a certain period of time, that’s what we call staking. Not saying the term “beyond than normal” kind of investment lol.
