One rule of thumb as regards investing is to never invest in what you do not have sufficient knowledge about, thus since you claim to have only a minimal knowledge, and you have proved so by asking the community what coin you should invest in, you might want to forget about putting your money into any project for now, and just focus on garnering knowledge about crypto generally.

Having said that, whilst Bitcoin is the best crypto to invest in for the long time, i wouldn't advice you to buy it because it basically doesn't just end at buying it, you'd have to store it safely, and that is something you can't do with zero knowledge; so focus on learning right now, so later on you can put your money into it, at least by then you have confidence in what you are doing.

You can hear a lot of people uplift their status through investing in crypto but don't even think that all who invest in here have the same results because many had also failed and lost their money which might also happen to you then. I don't get you being a enthusiast and asking for a suggestion here and declaring that you have a minimal knowledge. Enthusiast should even have at least the common knowledge on how things work and don't really ask question like this. I believe that you are just trying to learn crypto for some time now just because you know people living a good life because they do well on crypto. I think you should be more determined first on learning it since I think you will lose motivation at the moment you lose some money into crypto, I believe that it is a bad way to start your journey. Consistency is the key since crypto just keep evolving over the time, Market trend is different 5 years ago remember that.

There are new ones you can invest but it is not guaranteed that you will earn profit if you invested in an altcoin that are newly launched.

Start by studying cryptocurrencies and the crypto market. You will always have time to lose your money. You rush to invest in something you have no idea about and ask for advice to dispose your money from people who do not risk anything. This completely depends on how overall weather on markets is. Sometimes its the best to invest in Bitcoin, sometimes not. If we consider this, for example, when Bitcoin does sudden raise and stop, Ethereum and BNB become the best altcoins to invest. Why? Many people lives change due to cryptocurrency investment but you shouldn't only count the success of those people since for sure they also struggle before reaching their current status.

Maybe you should learn first the hardship on startup because you can learn a lot of things especially on investment scams using cryptos since its so rampant here and you need to be careful on that. Also focus on realistic things and if the platform offer to good to be true like investing without doing anything which is commonly offer and give you huge profit then declare it as scam to save your money from scams. I think there are many coins with good potential, but I'll never think their is any coin can be compare to Bitcoin, so if I had to give you advice based on my own research, I'd say go with Bitcoin. However, it would be advantageous if you could conduct your own research as well, as each investor has a different motivation for buying coins. For example, I've heard some people claim that Bitcoin doesn't generate as much profit as other forms of coins investment. Some altcoins are also worthwhile, but I won't ever advise anyone to invest in one because I don't.

If you mean in house and those fund manager who offers a monthly fixed income on crypto then leave it. They are trying to scam money from you. Why not learn on crypto on your own. Use the time and dont rely on people with your hard earned money. At least if you loss then its you who used your money than random anyone who just gonna screw it.

But if you are really wanted without much knowledge only buy bitcoin. At least this is far more safer than any altcoins out there.

Investing into altcoins without zero knowledge is just wasting your money. C'mon, I'm myself with quite decent experience in crypto, I struggle with altcoin investments, how can suggest something. It's your money, you should make your own research and take responsibilitt, instead of asking financial advices from random strangers.
And when it comes to investing into Bitcoin, you also shouldn't do it blindly. You have to know what you're doing.
