They are both good investment i have both eth on bitcoin on my wallet and just keep it there till i gained good profit.. Ether now is good to hold while its cheap same as bitcoin for once bitcoin pump ether do too.

I agree, there are so many other coins that could give you good returns more than Bitcoin or Ethereum. However, since the premise of the question is the comparison of the two. I would side with Bitcoin because of the many characteristics going for it. It's value, popularity, marketability and usage rate are all reasons that makes it better as an investment compared to other coins. However, I am not discrediting Ethereum, for it also has it's perks going for it.

Both are very good to invest. Bitcoin and Ethereum are both the best cryptocurrencies but they are very different. Although Ethereum does have some nice features that give it more potential than its parent in some key factors. Ethereum often decreased dramatically compared to bitcoin. So having some Ether may not be the same as having a bit of bitcoin. But if viewed in theory bitcoin is the best crypto than Ethereum.
