I just exchanged Ubuntu for Linux Mint MATE. So far it's looking okay: simple desktop that has everything I need and works quite well.
Only weird thing: it has Yahoo and other forgotten search engines as default, I had to manually add Google to my browsers!

That's because MATE cares about privacy and Google makes its money by turning you into the product it sells, which is counter to privacy.

I use windows 10 on desktop and it is fine.
I prefer to use android on mobile cause I like to customize and fully operate my device.

Linux on all my laptop computers. I see no better way than light waight OS with multimedia support.
Linux gives my old computers better battery time and lover temperatures than Windows.
Desktop however needs windows as for gaming and some rare cases where linux just cant do.

I am using various operating systems on my machines. My laptop uses windows 10 while the iPad of course uses ios and my smartphone uses android.
