Hello, I had an account here with a few 100 posts about 2 years ago but lost it forever. Not sure I remember what "total time logged in" is necessary to post on the actual forum. Could anyone enlighten me? tks

Could it be remotely possible that 5 posts and 4 hours logged in are really required to post? The OP is quite unclear on what hoops through which one must jump in order to be allowed in this pseudo-elite club.  If the hoops are not really so nearly out of reach to a reasonable person who has other things to do besides jumping through hoops what are they in fact and why is 5 posts and four hours what is stated?  Angry

Just trying to figure out the hoops you have to jump through to get the privilege of posting questions here.  What nonsense.

First sorry for my English.
I would like to introduce you my idea for new kind virtual currency.
I like bitcoin, ish, because there is one deficiency - only people who can buy ASIC divice can mine it.
I think that everyone should be able to mine.
Such are supposed to be the world money. So all people will be equal each others.
So, instead computer power, we can use our brains.
The p2p system will produce CAPTCHA images and people have to recognize them and so the will receive coins
(randomly).

A CAPTCHA (an acronym for "Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart"),
is a type of challenge-response test used in computing to
determine whether or not the user is human.

This why I want to get whitelisted, to share and discuss my idea with this community.

Hi, I am a newbie. I am working together with a friend (that has some
BTC development experience) on a project. At this point (Until I'll
learn the math) I bring to the project mainly HTML5 and usability
skills. As many other BTC sites do, we also present transactions data in
a table. As I am working on the "graphical language" of the web
application, I would like to ask what are best looking / most usable BTC
sites you know. I'll appreciate Links + short explanations on what is so
great in the sites.

welcome Smiley
let's take you out of the newbie jail ...

Yes, please take me out of the jail, as I would like to participate in the contest:

and need the option to contribute to:

Hello, we are La esencia del Bitcoin (http://esenciabitcoin.com) and we will bring news and articles to Spanish people about exciting things going on in the Bitcoin world. Our first post introduced the first three restaurants and bars that accept Bitcoin in Spain. Yep, sadly there are only three right now, but as we are collaborators in Café Bitcoin (http://cafebitcoin.com), since rdymac suggested us to start this site, we will help to make the bitcoin adoption faster and without hassle for the merchants and users in Spain!

Requesting whitelist for this account, it is currently being transitioned for ASICMiner purposes. friedcat and John K (Admin) can vouch.

Thanks
