I have heard that NEO is one of them but I'm curious to know who else could challenge them in that regard.

You have heard it right,NEO is the only competitor of ethereum because NEO also offers smartcontracts and d-apps like what ethereum has,NEO as the chinese ethereum has more advance technology than ethereum,NEP5 based tokens are slowly getting more popular today and it could replace ETH's platform because msot of the investors wants a future proof platform,which is NEO.

Ethereum is hard to compete against so only great coins can be compared to Ethereum. For instance i am expecting waves to be one of Ethereum’s main competitors when it reaches its true potential. Eos is also very important coin and it will be a great alternative to Ethereum.

There are quite a number of ETH competitors. The major ones I can think of are Neo, waves, and EOS. IMO, Neo is the stronger and the development team is strong.

I think EOS, NEO, ICON, Waves, Wanchain, Boscoin, Tezo, and Qtum are some of the projects that comes to mind, it will be interesting how these projects competitive successfully with Ethereum because in my opinion Ethereum is far ahead of all these projects on my list

Until the end of time

Well in my opinion I think it is credits if they can do what they promised to do. It's process over a million transaction per second according to what they said. They recently lunch their alpha and have announced over hundred users already. They just finished having their ICO and yet to hit exchanges. So I see them as a potential competitors.

I think ethereum got lot of compitetor but the common are
Bitcoin and litecoin and the other the altcoin token. I think there are thousands of token in altcoin. They all want to pass on ethereum but ethereum got big investor and more popularity than them.

many coins comes with strong project. but i think neo coin is very strong Competitor.neo is a peer to peer decentralised cryptocurrency.and neo allows smart contract creation similar to ethereum.we know many upcoming coins use neo platform .in 2017 one neo price is only $2 and today $116. so neo rise very fast.and we hope neo price hit $500 in near future.

I think NEM will be a good competitor of Eth one day. The number of ICOs using NEM as platform is slowly growing and the price of the token is growing as well. Some ICO under NEM was a success as well, I think that is a good indication that it well be a good competitor someday.

At the moment, it's probably no one can compete with eth. It has a very strong position on the market. Most projects are based on eth. Maybe in the future, neo will be able to compete with eth.

At ETH a lot of competitors, but I think the worst competitor EOS. Because children have more perspective and perfect technology. EOS will definitely reach at a cost of ETH after a year or 2 years.
