Like I get the markets move but is this big wallets, ancient wallets? Who is actually selling? Normie noobs who just got in the market and are spooked by comments?

I dream of the day when alt coins are not tied to the price of bitcoin. Uhg...

I don't get exactly get what you are trying to emphasize here, but there is one thing I am pretty sure that altcoins has a big
help to me for a couple years already now into my life, without this I cannot support all the expenses I have now, but that's not what happen
instead, through altcoins I can support my own family because I can sell anytime I want.

Those who were selling now are the day traders who've been waiting for small spikes, but they're not actually helping because the market was still recovering from slight falls.
I believe there are different kind of people who are selling right now for their day to day requirements and this way we need to include bitcoin miners as the first one in this list. People who have bought below $30k by the times of earlier days of this year also, might be selling bitcoins by this time and the last significant amount of people who bought around 50k and 60k and to cut their losses might be selling right now even for losses to avoid big losses in the case of bitcoin face another round of sudden chaos.

But overall, after Elon Musk's recent tweet, we are seeing bitcoin prices trading above $40k levels which means there are less number of people who are continuously selling and more people started again to buy and hold which is the scenario I have been expecting for last 2 to 3 weeks and that finally arrived to take place.

The ability not to be triggered by floating comment from people who have no expertise or authority to talk about cryptocurrency  prospect, growth and it's development is the sign that you have become stable, mature and confident about your skill and knowledge about cryptocurrency! Now you are rooted, not wavering from every wind of hearsays and conjuctures!

No, it's not possible that altcoins will live alone without the help of bitcoin to be like lifted up of its current trading pairs. Though some of them relied through usdt coin, but not that efficient as with btc pairs. Those who were selling now are the day traders who've been waiting for small spikes, but they're not actually helping because the market was still recovering from slight falls.

Yes, that's actually what is expected when altcoins are not affected by the price of bitcoin, it's time for altcoins to stand alone. However, that is not entirely possible, even now altcoins are still dependent on the price of bitcoin. And they came down together. When will altcoins become independent, and that's a question that doesn't need an answer

Well it's no longer a dream because there are already lots of cryptocurrencies that doesn't correlate with bitcoin, although most of the coins we have today in the cryptocurrency market correlates with bitcoin.

So, if you're looking for coins that doesn't correlate with bitcoin, then you should know by now that there are coins that doesn't correlate with bitcoin. If you're making use of coinbase wallet you are able to see this as the app shows you which coins correlates with bitcoin and which ones doesn't correlate and it also shows you the level of correlation.

Good enough to assess and start sorting which coin to invest your money, there are many coins / projects that exist who are moving or

who can stand alone, not minding what are happening behind Bitcoin, you need to sort it and not to blindly invest in any project/assets that you
will place your money.

Very important to have a better  outlook and not just to rely everything with Bitcoin.

Bitcoin- in bullish time

Yes, I think a lot of traders sell to make a profit,
even so it is not easy to do because of the fact that many traders are also experiencing losses,
What is clear is that trading requires a strategy and analysis because both are very important
Nobody wants to miss the pump, it was the best choice to sell our shitcoins and keep those reliable. Such an opportunity won't last long and I think everybody is enjoying the bullish season.

Some say they just hold until now, well, it finds ridiculous for me, I don't know what he is thinking or they just want to pretend.
EVERYONE is selling, that is the reality.

With that reference, always all Alts  are born and with that relation until his death ... as a projects, I think they should appreciate it.

Who is selling? It is the supply and the demand, both are needed is pure economy, it works with any type of asset or thing that has value.

Even the market is at bearish season some point and another there will be traders who will sell, maybe in need of money or still in profit . We don’t know unless they will say their reason. I only sell when I’m in profit or just want to stop some losses. It will all depend on our determination on how long where able to analyze and keep our investment.

In my opinion, the people who dumped bitcoins are those who are not determined. They are always sincere and fearful, afraid that they will suffer losses. Without a firm belief in Bitcoin, it is easy to follow the trend.

No, not all surfer losses, that they didn't partake in the future gains bitcoin produces doesn't mean they surfer losses. Every investors should have a strategy, some strategy could have involved them securing profit now and unfortunately the market is in a bearish trend.

Actually you can never know as some who dump now might likely buyback if the market dumps further. Some are only securing their profits in anticipation of re-entering the market incase of further market correction as I have earlier highlighted.

It could be anyone right. About altcoins not tied to price of bitcoin i think it is impossible except it is stable coins. Because price of altcoins which is will be end in USD (fiat) will depends on bitcoin first, it caused by there are more pair of altcoin to BTC.

I guess every bitcoin trader sells and because we all are involved in the bitcoin's market as long as one transacts in using bitcoin you are selling.

I don’t hope for selling to end; we have to adapt to the way and get used to the system.

It is a normal initiative of an individual who certainly still do not fully understand crypto to have a soft hand that let them sell their cryptocurrency coins that easily because they were afraid to experience loss due to declination of the value of the crypto they were currently holding. We cannot say they are totally noobs maybe the right term is inexperienced because they were just new in the industry. That is just normal for them since they still do not certainly know how working in this industry goes on. But if they will just keep their focus into learning and acquiring knowledge and only investing and trading into decent and worthy crypto, for sure they will get along not to sell easily once they saw declination.

Who is selling? First those with weak hands and always panic when the market suddenly dump. Second are those who already gained profit and want to cash out their money and convert it into fiat money. Everyone are selling but depends on the situation and reasons why the sell. Supply and demands always present in the market, if there will be no seller definitely there's no buyer.
It's beyond supply and demand right now. There is no reason why suddenly the demand was half of the supply (considering BTC dropped by almost 50%) while a few months back the demand was 5x of the supply (considering we lifted from 10k to 50k and more) I believe that after the shitty tweet from Elon Musk that Tesla no longer accepts bitcoins, most of the large scale investors lost their faith because we as a community hold small amounts but those like Michael Saylor and others have invested humongous amounts and

they have to be mindful of the market news and Elon is a massive source they must rely on. Once big investors start selling, there is a certain domino effect and everyone starts selling and the market keeps on dumping.

It's a mixture of multiple types of traders actually. There are mainly three kinds of traders selling right now.

1- Those who invested during the start of the bull run and are now taking profits, basically the whales. They always do this, buy at cheap and later sell them to again buy at cheap once the market falls hard.

2- Traders who are new and are afraid of the market movement and panic sell. I cannot blame them but I don't think anyone who is too afraid of market movements should ever trade in the BTC or any crypto market.

3- Daytraders, those who want to play with minimum movement of the market and want to sell/buy continuously to gain small profits.

Oh better not to forget those big fat whales who loves shaking the market, they are the one who have influenced the most.

But yes, I agree with your statement, depends from how you see the situation and according to your needs. Keep in mind that this market will
always have this kind of rotations.

Selling pressures and being ride by people who understand the market and have seen golden opportunities to position their investment.

This would take years of consistent research and development. I took look out for this date where altcoin will be total autonomous without any linkage to Bitcoin so we can attest to how well it would do over a period of time.

Everyone who panics is selling.

I think it is fair to say that the big investors (who initiated the dump) have long taken their profits, and only now buying in at bargain prices. The rest is up to the individual with a few hundreds or so worth of investing now thinking it is time to sell because they can't stand any more loss. It is these guys who panic sell, playing in the hands of the manipulators.

They are actually saying that this is an accumulation period now. The market isn't dipping below $30k because the institutions are maintaining the price at this high but not also low so that only the rich are able to buy.

Those who expect the price to still go down I guess are chasing still waiting for another dip so they could get in. Their USDT could still be in limbo.
