the king of altcoin in my opinion is still occupied by ethereum. I assume that ethereum is worthy of being the king of ico or king of altcoin because they have tremendous public trust and many companies use their platforms for project development.
I believe the ethereum is the king of altcoins the blockchain technology of ethereum is very strong and it has many investors are supporting in ethereum. Ethereum has big market capitalization in crypto currency.
I agree if the king of all altcoins is ethereum, ethereum is the second best coin after bitcoin and there are many platforms that use it, and of course ethereum will develop better for the future

I guess putting up some labels on the cryptocurrency doens't help at all? Or maybe it can create the competition to hype it up and boost the currencies to perform better than another. But if we can see, no altcoin is considered as king as they are all volatile.
The king of altcoin is ethereum because only ethereum always use by investor and have many transaction every day, almost of ICO project always use eth as their payment platform and many exchange support using eth as their peer transaction trading.

I think for now ETH is very suitable to hold the title of king of altcoin. because the ranking occupies the second place after BTC and many ICOs and tokens based on ETH ERC-20. but this does not make ETH forever a king of altcoin. because there are still XRP and EOS that have the opportunity to replace them. the market is still very open to competition.

IMHO, it is still ETH. Ethereum dominated the last weeks of the year 2018, determined to regain the second place regarding capitalization. It achieves this objective in these early hours of the European market as ETH/USD jumped nearly 80% from lows. The strength of Ethererum’s upward movement coincides with the launch of Constantinople, the Hard Fork that promises to improve the performance of the network. The market highly anticipates this implementation, due last January 16, and until then the money will continue to run to Ether. Neither Bitcoin nor Ripple has yet managed to take advantage of the upward trend of their podium companion. Both have moved away from the 2018 lows, but fail to break critical levels that allow them to evolve in search of relative highs. Just my two cents on this. Ethereum remain the king of alts. We saw theres so many alts pop out in the market but ethereum always at the top than other alts. Years from now we dont know if that litecoin going to improve and rise up the price but I don't think so if it passed the race with ethereum.

LOL. I don't know why there is anyone still wanna ask this question. Of course everyone already know that ETH is the king of altcoin. Although ETH lost its 2nd rank on Coinmarketcap few times for XRP but not for so long and at the moment ETH is standing at 2nd rank right after BTC and still be the best altcoin.

Everyone knows it will be ethereum and still it is in the top position to perform well but the value is not been good and it makes their development little by little very hard to reach a good value at the end of this year I think it may possible very soon.
