Whether you like him or not, Recep Tayyip Erdogan - Turkish President- is one of the most powerful politician in the world. He has great impact on his society. He can manipulate them easily by manipulating mass media and social media. By the way, i hate him but this is the brutal reality.
For me the most powerful politician is also Vladimir Putin and after him are Donald Trump and after him is Viktor Orban ,after him is Angela Merkel and after her is Erdogan.
Viktor Orban? Perhaps you are from Hungary. Do you think that Orban is more powerful than Xi Jinping or Narendra Modi? And another thing. Merkel can't be more powerful than Erdogan. She is quite dependent on Erdogan and the latter has been successful in imposing his views and policies on Merkel. So I'd say that Erdogan comes before Merkel.
You are both wrong because Kim Jung Un is the most powerful politician. Imagine that he is the only politician that totally control his underlings even his fancy haircut was a mandatory for all men on their country. There is no powerful politician can do that thing except for him. My vote goes to him.

Strange people. How can Putin and Duterte considered influential people. They are both dictators and have power only over drugged by the propaganda of their countries. Even Trump might not be the most influential because he's in the country too many enemies that constantly block his initiatives.
On my pick of worlds powerful politicians are Trump, Putin, Jinping and Duterte. I think their influence nowadays are very strong and their political powers are recognized all over the world. Their connections to different countries are strong and wide, sometimes being admired by some leaders.
I agree with the list you have there with the exception of Duterte, he has no global impact at all, his power is only in the Philippines, he has no power outside the country, Jinping is rather very powerful, the same goes for Putin they can do things with disregard to what the Senate or parliament says, Trump however has to answer to the Senate at all times, he has about 40% power thay the entire USA has.

Perhaps I will also agree with the fact that you named the most influential politicians. At least now they have a great influence on the world economy and politics. Some of them are very cruel, but their policy is aimed at establishing well-being in the country

Vladimir Putin is a powerful politician since he had lift up Russia from being drowned in debt and placed it up on the pedestal of the economy. Without Putin Russia would probably be like Greece right now. But second to him I consider Rodrigo Duterte as a powerful politician since he is also the ASEAN president. Duterte had make a big impact on the world and is on the hotspot by the UN.
Still feeling butt hurt because the Russians kicked your asses in Donbass? It doesn't matter whether these two rulers are dictators or not. Putin stopped the looting of Russian national resources by the oligarchs. Duterte ended the drug menace in the Philippines. Both have done more to the people than any other elected leader.

I think it is Duterte, because he just does what he has to do, he doesn't care if some would say something bad about him.
And also he speaks his mind honestly.
He may sound rude and unethical but I admire him because of his honesty. He is very straight forward and honest which because of that he is loved by Filipinos. He is not even afraid to rich people and rich country because he has high beliefs in the Philippines. So for me, it would be putin and duterte.
