Vladimir Putin is a powerful politician since he had lift up Russia from being drowned in debt and placed it up on the pedestal of the economy. Without Putin Russia would probably be like Greece right now. But second to him I consider Rodrigo Duterte as a powerful politician since he is also the ASEAN president. Duterte had make a big impact on the world and is on the hotspot by the UN.
They do not plunder their country, therefore it is not profitable for them to drive their country into poverty. The world is ruled by more influential people who do not want to shine and tell the presidents what they need to do.

All the Russians put Putin's influence in the first place and I find it funny. They are all just victims of Putin's propaganda. A powerful man is the man who can change the world for the better. Putin can't even change their own country for the better. The most influential person for me has always been America's President, but Trump does not meet these requirements therefore now place the most powerful leader filled.
