For me, Vladimir Putin. If you have any observation on on the world politics then you realize that current world politics is getting More complex, every country is trying to raise their power but Vladimir Putin is exceptional. He is cool. Putin talk less but work more. So he is really influencing factor in the world politics.
Everyone knows this is the illuminatis, politicians are just puppets m'kay. 
I completely agree. Politicians can not make their own decisions, they are just puppets that are controlled by secret world communities.
well this can be determined by how powerful the country he leads is. it may be trump or more likely for me, putin. then there's china's xi. if only these leaders can just put aside differences and focus as one on things that are more urgent like climate change and the threat of isis, we'd all be in good hands

Yup... I somehow missed him in my list... perhaps I should replace Shinzo Abe with Kim Jong Un. North Korea is a nuclear country, while Japan is not having any nukes in their possession. Kim Jong Un should be in top 5 (Don't think that I am saying this because I don't want to end up like Kim Jong-nam). All hail the supreme leader!

most powerful politicians (you didn't specified if on Earth or if in their native countries) are the ones within corrupted governments and not necessary a president. President has no power over the government or parliament unless is a dictator or a king.
Nigeria, Brasil, Serbia, Hungary , Poland, Romania, etc have very corrupted governments with most powerful politicians over the masses.

I think the most powerful politicians is Donald Trump .
I also give it to Donald Trump as with all fakes propaganda from major media house and on social media the man is still waxing strong. Since the day he takes over he has been on most countries local news even more than they own presidents. The man is the most popular politician of this century.

The United States and Russia demonstrate strength to each other. But is the army really strong? But what if North Korea has such weapons that it will wipe Russia and the US from the face of the earth? But we do not know about it

All the president all over the world are powerful they can use their power of course to do something bad on there country but when I'm going to tell is maybe not a politician who had the powerful man in the world. For me its, vladimir putin for now. who is your powerful politicians?
Well i agree. He is recently showing prowess even in musics. What i like about presidents are they are not controlled by any government bodies. He may represent a certain party but he is in control not like our previous presidents where his moves are just obviously being dictated by the members of his party.
Normally its the USA president who is the most powerful but if Putin is truly controlling Trump that then makes him the most powerful politician at the moment.
The most powerful politicians are not politicians at all. Aside from all the conspiracy theories business and big money is what controls politics. Great leaders get elected by having their campaign funded by companies and magnates, just like Hillary's campaign was being funded by Arab sheikhs among others. That's why it's good to have a rich guy in the lead who doesn't need such financial injections and is independent.

Kim Jong Un, you may say he's a dictator but surprise, surprise, there will be an election held in North Korea every 5 years where people should vote for Kim Jong Un, or they can deny voting publicly. We all know what will happen to that guy later.

I'm Filipino and even I find that much of a stretch. All the other leaders on your list are from countries that are either global powers (US, China, Russia) or major regional players (India, Turkey).
Our country is in no way in league with the others on the list (despite whatever our president might say). We're still pretty much third world and we don't have nukes like India. And so for whatever strong language Duterte might have, his actual influence is limited by our nation's diplomatic, economic and military clout, which is pretty much quite little. The only card he would have up his sleeve would be our geographic location, if it would serve much.
Maybe we can be bumped up to at least Top 20 in a few decades but for now, I think we are still not strong enough.
