I'll take at least one maybe two at whatever you feel is reasonable. I'm always willing to support an independent developer.

Hopefully sales of this are great, so we can get the 700 GH bitfury version in the future!
X2
I'll buy one also, my 2 pac is now losing to my gpu, cpu and burst HDD miner on my computer.  I'm more interested in the bitfury Pods,   I'm hoping you're Paypal is still working?

a 100GH machine is about $50.

Maybe you could price it something like that?

Consider that this guy will put up 2/3 the hashrate of an S1 with 1/6 the power cost. Also consider 100GH worth of chips aren't free, especially since anything ASIC now costs 2-4 times what it did a few months ago. I was hoping for a bulk price around $50 on these but now it'll come in more like $100. That's bulk price, not single complete kit price.

Yes, most miners are currently way the heck overpriced. If 2Pacs sell on eBay for $150, this thing would ask $250-300 and that's, to put it frankly, criminal.

If you don't like the price, don't buy it. Maybe wait until later in the year when I hope to have newer better things available.

Yeah, I'm pretty disappointed by some of the sellers online charging 400% markups. I've talked to my friend Laura, beneficiary of the 2Pac seconds and hacked S7 sales, about doing direct sales on commission.

That's a great idea and the boring stuff (paperwork, p&p) can be passed on to someone driven enough to get some commision.

Thanks.

Looking at prices online, most miners are ridiculously overpriced - people are selling miners which operate at a daily loss (I suspect to people who can't math well and don't understand mining). Old block erupters, for example, sell at $50 a piece and earn less than $1 per year. It's nuts.

Decent deals I've found are old S1s for around $100, things like that. A realistic price I've found that tends to balance this crazy demand with a decent roi is a machine that ends up costing about $1 per 2/GH/sec. ie, a $100 GH machine is about $50.

Maybe you could price it something like that?
One with brain, thanks, I see the world is soo crazy this days, I see the 2 pack at 200€, I think it's too high for a 2 months product that cost arround 60$

I've talked to my friend Laura, beneficiary of the 2Pac seconds and hacked S7 sales, about doing direct sales on commission. She'd be handling Terminus sales to individuals once those are launched, plus I'd be setting aside a certain number of 2Pacs every week for small orders without crazy markup. Works out for everyone because y'all won't have to pay embarassingly high prices, she gets some extra income and I can keep focusing on making stuff instead of communicating with customers all day (the primary reason small sales were closed).

I don't have any good Terminus pictures handy but I definitely will post some before/when sales open.

I'm Interested in the Pods Smiley to Spain

It's nice to see some progress on this project and especially the testing on the rpi3.

I bought a pi3 2 months ago for the 2pac or was it the moonlander but didn't get my hands on one.

the proposals of $100-125 seems alright for starters.

hopefully it gets spread in smaller amounts so that everyone gets the chance to get atleast one.
some of the bulk buyers seem to focus on high profit selling on ebay and not the mining itself.

Are there any photos somewhere from the final design?

100MHz (44GH) 660mV/node 2.64V total; 12V 1.4A for 16.8W/0.38J/GH
125MHz (55GH) 660mV/node 2.64V total; 12V 1.7A for 20.4W/0.37J/GH
150MHz (66GH) 660mV/node 2.64V total; 12V 2.0A for 24.0W/0.36J/GH
175MHz (77GH) 693mV/node 2.77V total; 12V 2.5A for 30.0W/0.39J/GH
200MHz (88GH) 715mV/node 2.86V total; 12V 3.1A for 37.2W/0.42J/GH
225MHz (99GH) 755mV/node 3.02V total; 12V 3.8A for 45.6W/0.46J/GH
250MHz (110GH) 770mV/node 3.08V total; 12V 4.4A for 52.8W/0.48J/GH
275MHz (121GH) 770mV/node 3.08V total; 12V 4.9A for 58.8W/0.49J/GH

I think 275MHz is reaching the upper limit of the main regulator.

You might be able to get stable results with a lower core voltage. The onboard controller will have an automatic reset function if it detects the chips lock up and drop out, which will help overall stability when operating near thresholds. That wasn't available for the above tests, so I'll repeat tests when everything's finalized.

Pretty much everything is being sold to raise money for future projects. I don't take in investment money or anything, so building and selling is the only way to move forward. The Terminus and 2Pac originally started as a project to raise money for Bitfury gear development. I've got newer better stuff in the R&D pipeline, and sales of current products will fund their development and manufacture.

I'm coordinating with a friend in need (see sig links) about doing small sales on commission. If that works out, y'all will have a point of contact a whole lot more patient and cheerful than I tend to be. So that's good news for everyone. We'll get pricing figured out shortly.

Sounds fun and I good place to start. Promising

Looks like $125 is the popular price point here. Is this the final verdict on what the overall hash rate on one of these will be?

Pending numerical surprises on the final product, I'd pay $125 for a set of 4. $500 seems like a reasonable deal based on what you've written so far...

I'll probably take 4-6 depending on the price.  Sidehack I'll let you decide the price you know time and hours spent on these and how many burgers you need to buy.

My vote for price would be $125, but understanding the demand for miners, I wouldn't be surprised to see them go for more.
