I don't think its appeared already, may be in the future we will see new project with huge invention or technology, I don't see any thing like this on the current market

I do not think there are any coins going through bitcoin. Particularly for ethereum, it is very difficult to have any coins to pass, if any, also in the very far future.
but if for ethereum indeed I think have a chance to get past bitcoin,
but if for now it is still difficult and certainly may take a long time
BTC or ETH, kudos to them, they have done a great job. It will be hard for a new or existing coin to over take this two coins but it is not impossible. To overtake these two coins, the new coins has to be up to the standard of BTC or ETH and even exceed it, once that is achieved, then we have a new King.
I think they are still the kings of all coin but for me theres an existing altcoin that will definitely become popular also aside from ethereum. I'm thinking and researching about eos that it could possibly the next hype and will have a mass adoption in the community because if eos main net already launched it has also a ability to create token like ethereum blockchain.

I do not think we need a new king, what does not suit you Bitcoin? If Bitcoin falls to 2 place, then all exchanges, trading floors and ordinary traders will have to adjust to something else. I think that it is not necessary for anyone and can bring many negative consequences for the whole market.
I think for at least 4-5 years, Bitcoin will continue to be the king of the crypto market. Ethereum will also continue to be the second best coin. After 4-5 years maybe some coins can overtake Bitcoin and Ethereum.

In my humble opinion, there will be no king and no coin can overtake bitcoin because I do believe that bitcoin is such a excellent coins who has the capacity to recover so easily after so many failures. I think that bitcoin will remain the leader forever. This is a very strong and promising coin. People are used to the fact that Bitcoin is the king. I think that this will always be so.
I think bitcoin will remain king in the crypto world, it will be very difficult if altcoin replaces bitcoin, but there is nothing impossible, there can be somebody who can replace bitcoin as coin number 1, but it will likely take so long that it can happen, and any altcoin can replace it
None of he current coins can replace BTC or ETH. May be in future we have some coin with some unique features capable of doing that.

There are a lot of cryptocurrency which have a potential, but i dont think anyone of them can overtake bitcoin. Bitcoin will always be the king of cryptocurrency.
