There are currently no coins to become the new king. Bitcoin is still the strongest coin, and no coin can surpass it.
There will be no new king, Bitcoin is too strong and too much in demand to allow itself to be dismissed. Technically, only a few improvements would be enough for Bitcoin to be out of competition.
While I do not see such a challenger. But it is possible that after the correction and the full recovery of the market. I radically change my opinion. So, you just have to be patient and wait.

I don't think that the king will change! I am sure that btc and maybe etc will remain the leading coins in the market. We will see as the market isn't always predictable. I think that this will be btc

It is too early to predict. Now such a hype on the market. So much change and recession. What to say for sure now who will be king sooner. And will there be such a coin this year? I don't think Bitcoin will move anyone.
I watch opinions are divided. As for me it is ethereum. Yes, I agree that it is not the best time for etririum. you just have to understand that this is all temporary
I think that the best options have only ethereum - it is a very good project and I don't have doubts that we are doing the right this by trust in it!
