Bitcoin will forever be the king of cryptocurrency by being the first cryptocurrency to be created that makes it blue blood. There are many new cryptocurrencies that are created with better features than bitcoin but they are not blue blood and will never be king.
I can not believe that Bitcoin and Ethereum will give up their leading positions in the next 3-5 years. No serious competitors are visible yet, except perhaps Ripple. However, the situation may drastically change if the G-20 governments suddenly decide to create their own cryptocurrency for mutual transactions. In this case, BTC and ETH will have serious competitors.

Ethereum and Bitcoin have long won major places in the crypto market. These are the coins that should be in the wallets of every person in the crypto market, because all the other coins and tokens are bought using Bitcoins or Ethereum.
That future is a long away from now. Whatever technology is going to replace BTC and ETH right now will need to take care of the current shortcomings of these duo with some really super features as well which will also attract governments to accept it wholeheartedly
I trust ethereum will be the new king for coin because have good and best quality for trading or investing, many time ethereum could raised to higher price and always potential altcoin to buy and invest for future asset.
I don’t think so that its happening soon, in fact bitcoin have a strong hold in crypto & will be much difficult to any other coin to replace bitcoin.

In my opinion, there are very promising projects that are able to compete with the main cryptocurrencies right now. For example, the Zilliqa project recently launched a mainet, it supports sharding technology and is capable of handling thousands of transactions per second. It gives him a huge advantage over BTC and ETH.
Tron, eos, waves, xrp and grin are my top altcoins tht would be a king in the future. IMHO

Can not predict anything. Maybe the trend and technology of blockchain and cryptocurrency will change so much in the future but I think Bitcoin and Ethereum still can maintain and promote their own unique strengths
