I don't think altcoin will be better than Bitcoin. Before compare them, I think you should distinguish between investment and speculation. These are two different concepts.
i personally believe that bitcoin is in a higher value now so if we get bitcoin we have spend more to get profits. but altcoins specially undervalued coins gives a better return of investment.
I think for me no any altcoins can surpass the greatness of bitcoin because bitcoin is the king and father of all the coins and is the first cryptocurrency being established. With the experienced of this crypto no one can be better than bitcoin.

No altcoin is better than bitcoin if Bitcoin keep that no.1 on the crypto market. Altcoins are still depend on Bitcoin too much. I'm looking forward to one day altcoins deperate from Bitcoin

The price trend of Bitcoin fixes the price of all altcoins and there is no such soin which prosper in market without the price rise of Bitcoin. If you see the market, Bitcoin price rise or fall directly reflects the price of altcoins and they cannot survive individually or rise its price without Bitcoin.
