I don't think any altcoin is better than bitcoin. Not even now. The coins we may be looking up to as the ones challenging Bitcoin's hegemonic influence include ETH, Neo, Ltc, Monero and so others.
Because bitcoin has rised much than any other cryptos. So if you see in a long term, bitcoin is much better than any crypto. But if in a short term, it may less return than other.

I have no doubt that some altcoins can offer interesting investment alternatives for those who seek to obtain good returns through high-risk investments, but that in no way diminishes the great importance of bitcoin as a functional alternative for current payment systems based on the fiat money.

bitcoin is dominating the market but I think it's open means it can be used anywhere like paper money, I do not think we can compare it with it. because it is different money physical properties of bitcoin digital.
Its not correct I think bitcoin is better then altcoin because bitcoin is much better that all altcoins all together.it is a digital gold for all of crypto.altcoin have a bright future but the demand for bitcoin makes it far more superior.I believe altcoin doesn't mean altcoin can overtake bitcoin.

I believe that bitcoin will stay as it is and the strong foundation it made will never be shaken. But their are so manu ICO right now that are planning to be ahead of bitcoin which has real people behind them. So, the possibilities that altcoins will be better than bitcoin.
From that statement., it does look right because nowadays more and more people are moving in altcoins and doing various efforts that are based on ETH, Although in general., Bitcoin is still the most prioritized and remains the king of cryptocurrency
Today I believe in bitcoin more. In ICO companies I do not trust. They can be closed at any time for fraud. Here bitcoin no one can close and it will always have its price. So if I have the opportunity I invest only in bitcoin.
Bitcoin is a stable, and relatively safe coin, with the lowest volatility. But Altcoin's improvements are more significant, and have a better growth potential as well, which we can see, when the bulls are coming.
The risk of Alts are higher, and the ICO-s are even riskier. But the profit could be made by these are also much higher. We have to figure out our risk tolarence. Although diversify between the two may be the best.
I don't know why people think that there's atlcoin that better than BTC. Well, in some situations some coin can be more useful than BTC, but in general BTC is better
BTC better just because it is like cryptocurrency trendsetter, for technology side there some coin wich is better than BTC IMO. Btc domination are rise up again nowadays, it is good for btc itself but for me it is great if btc domination are not more than 30% cause honestly it is great to see Marketshare are not only dominated by just only one coin.
