Even though some people will argue that Bitcoin was not created primarily as a means of investment, it has become obvious that Bitcoin presents a good investment opportunity. Many people even use Bitcoin as a hedge against fiat is plagued by inflation. One aspect that have created much argument is real estate with many saying it is more reliable than Bitcoin that they claim is risky.

I know several threads have been made in this regards with most of them moribund. I created this post because I feel so bad regarding what happened in my country. As you can see in this post and the video in it, the state government demolished an entire estate with several buildings and properties inside. This is peoples investment that just got destroyed. This was a property approved by previous administration but demolished by new government...another risk many people do not put into consideration in real estate and some other physical investments.  This is a confirmation that Bitcoin is safer and better than many conventional investment portfolios.

Anyone still doubting the freedom, comfort and peace that Bitcoin offers is probably yet to embrace reality.

Estate business is also a good business and is true that Government tends to demolish an estate and claim the lamd is for the government. That happens a lot here in my country.

That's why Bitcoin is so different from this, it makes you the owner and also lead to a safer earning means as well either by participating different events like snowball or trade to add more to what you already have. You see that's one sweet thing about owning a Bitcoin and also doubling the money by adding more units to it.

Comparing real estate and Bitcoin isnt easy. You made key ideas, but we need to dive deeper. Real estate is the tried-and-true investment. Its worth comes from its tangibility, age-old appeal, and economic stability. Real estate goes beyond plots and constructions to socioeconomic factors.

Bitcoin is the outlier, dark horse, and mystery. The benefits? perhaps astronomical. The risks? There might be a little, perhaps. Its more than just protecting your digital money or learning the technology. Managing digital currency in a changing environment is difficult. Real estate may be safe, but Bitcoin? For those who can embrace the future.

Not everyone has the capability of learning everything. Some people will focus on real estate while others will focus on Bitcoin. Or some people will pursue both. But in the end they will stick to one that they are more comfortable with. Bitcoin and real estate are both different but they are investments after all. Those who are confident enough to take risks, they can choose Bitcoin as the main investment. And those who want to stay on the safe side they can go for real estate investment.

Knowledge is also a factor when it comes to investment. People cannot achieve success in something that they don't know about. If you don't know how things works then how are you going to use it in your advantage? Bitcoin is for the future I agree with that, but people are still making good use of it in present. The future will bring more to Bitcoin but we can still use to our advantage in present. And if you are capable enough, then why not both?

Traditional real estate investment and Bitcoin investment, they both got their pros and cons. They both shine in their own way, also they carry risks that are sometimes unavoidable. Those risks can only be maintained by proper strategies and knowledge. For instance, The thing about real estate investment that you are talking in the OP could happen to anyone. But things like that does not happen more often. Real estate investment is still on the safer side compared to Bitcoin investment. Demand and supply dictates value. As the demand of lands are increasing so as their value. And it will continue to grow with the growing population.
Bitcoin investment on the other hand carries risks that are unexpected and good happened to anyone at any time. If a person is unable to protect their privacy and asset and then they could fall into scams or in hands of hackers. Securing your wallet and asset is the way to keep your Bitcoin safe. There are other complicated stuff that I don't think need to be explained here as we already know. Also, Bitcoin is still volatile, and the price does not keep on growing indefinitely.

As I said, they are both good investment plan on their respected position. If one can use them properly they can surely make profit out of both of them. Just to be on the safer side you can choose real estate investment. But if you want something related to technology and the future and you have better understanding of that then you can choose Bitcoin. Both are good option.

I understand your perspective and the unfortunate situation in your Country certainly highlights the risks associated with physical investments like real estate. However, it's important to remember that all forms of investment come with their own set of risks and potential rewards. While Bitcoin does offer a degree of freedom and can act as a hedge against inflation, it's also subject to extreme volatility and regulatory risks.

the value of Bitcoin is largely speculative and can be influenced by a variety of factors, including technological changes, market demand and even the opinions of influential individuals. In contrast, real estate tends to be a more stable investment with value often tied to tangible factors like location, property condition, and market trends.

While the Incident in your country is tragic, it's not representative of the overall real estate market. It's crucial for investors to diversify their portfolios and not put all their eggs in one basket, whether that's Bitcoin, real estate, or any other type of investment. Ultimately, the best investment strategy will depend on an individual's financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment horizon.

Many of us are confused whether it is really worth investing in Bitcoin. Because most of them don't have much knowledge about this, so sometimes they immediately believe what others say, especially those people who lost money in crypto. That's why some people think that the real state is better because many people are getting rich from this investment because people are really looking for a house. But this investment still has risk because people choose a nice but cheap house. That's why for me it's better to invest in Bitcoin because all you have to do is wait for the price you want before you sell, and the transaction will be done easily.
It is better to ignore those people, as it is obvious that the one that earns money by selling real estate, stocks or bitcoin will praise the asset they use over anything else due to a personal bias, however what makes bitcoin different from other investments is that the amount of money needed is relatively small and there are no stringent requirements, so as long as you have a device which can access the internet and a few dollars you can become a bitcoin investor, something which is not possible with real estate, and depending where you live this may not be possible when it comes to the stock market either.
Since most exchanges have a minimum trade limit, I think it won't be wrong to say that one requires as low as $10 to become a Bitcoin investor. What you said is true, Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies, to me, seem to be the most convenient and affordable investment opportunity the world has ever witnessed. One couldn't think of making an investment of only $10 in something and then also get some profit over time with it because $10 is considered nothing these days.

Most financial and investment markets of the world would require someone to have at least a considerable amount of money to start making investments and getting profits from it, Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies have provided the world with the opportunity to start with as low as they want, starting from just $10.
The opportunity that everyone should grab. $10 is indeed an amount that is affordable for everyone, a low amount that can let anyone start investing at any time. Compared to other investment which requires a higher minimum amount of investment; however, investors should know the risk prior they start to invest. Without any knowledge, the investors might have a poor decision-making process that will lead to selling early or having more losses than making a profit out of their investment.

Starting an investment with an amount of $10 might be small for some people. However, if they learn DCA and calculate the possible profit, they will understand that this small amount of money can be worth it. A small bill that will turn into an unexpected investment.

I believe before the government action of demolishing an entire estate, the people in that place got paid and have their relocation unless these people are illegal settlers (even illegal settlers are compensated and relocated).  I don't think Bitcoin is different from other investment.  It is the same theme that people invest in Bitcoin because they want to get profit just like any other investment.  But if people wanted to use the technology behind Bitcoin, it is indeed different from others because Bitcoin offers freedom of transaction where there is no need to be approved by third party financial institution.

Thus, a question lies whether investors invested in BTC to use its technology or just to buy and sell neglecting Bitcoin function and just to profit?

Maybe the land on which the building stands, even the houses, is government property; they were demolished because they were standing on the land illegally. And it's possible that the previous administration let them build a building or house that was build in exchange for payment, and the official who approved it probably pocketed the money. In short, a corrupt official

So Bitcoin is really far from other investments because it is difficult to demolish because it is digital and it cannot be used by heavy equipment like that. Even if it is defamed with words that are full of lies and it is not easily broken, yes, it is vulnerable, or they will only get damaged but get back up to recover.

The government cannot capture your land if you have it in your name with all the valid legal documentation available because you can always file a complaint if something like that happens.
The government can still reclaim your land even if you have all the legal documents, if they really want to reclaim the land for their own purposes, you won't be able to do anything to them. But that happens very rarely and those are just rare cases. In general, any investment will have risks, including real estate or gold, and bitcoin is no exception. Maybe our bitcoins won't be unjustly robbed or confiscated by the government but we also face many different dangers. Bitcoin is also not completely safer than real estate or gold.
If you are from a third-world country that is full of corruption and there are land mafias that capture lands illegally without any notice or anything and even if you have the land in your name, you probably wouldn't have a say because the mafias would probably have more power than you and since there is corruption, the law won't help you with anything as the opposite party gives the law creators their share from what they get from their *good* deeds.

However, if you are living in a country that is developed, has law & order in place, and has no corruption at the government level, then if they need the land that you legally own for any purpose, they will take it from you in a legal way by paying you what the worth of the land at that moment of time is or what you demand for your land.

This is a confirmation that Bitcoin is safer and better than many conventional investment portfolios.
My friend, it is true that Bitcoin is a strong and secure thing. But the reality of the video that you have shared is not known to what extent it is true, but it seems to me that the property of these people is being demolished. I think what you have confirmed with this is that these people have suffered losses because they did not invest in something safe. If I am not wrong, and you have taken the meaning of this video in this way, then my brother, you are wrong because the government is demolishing the property of these people. Maybe someone will sell illegal property to them.

So you are wrong to say that Bitcoin is a safe investment rather than real estate, because an investment is safe when you are not a victim of fraud. Just like maybe, due to their own mistake, they bought illegal property and the government demolished it. In the same way, if you are a victim of fraud in Bitcoin, the result will be destruction, and Bitcoin is also safe only when you take complete measures to avoid fraud (scammer) in it. Every investment is safe when you take the necessary precautions to protect yourself from scammers. 95% of safety depends on the individual, and the remaining 5% depends on what you invest in.

So what you said, made it a confirmation that Bitcoin is a safe investment compared to real estate, so making every investment safe depends on your actions, what, when, and how you invest.

One advantage of real estate that we also need to mention is that it can even bring us passive income, something not all assets can do. If you own real estate, you can rent it out short or long term and you will receive a monthly income stream without losing full ownership of your land. To be fair, bitcoin and real estate are both assets worth investing in and holding for anyone. But saying that bitcoin is better than real estate in every way is a bias against bitcoin.

I do agree that Bitcoin as investment is not better than Real Estate, at least for now, because Bitcoin is extremely volatile and harder to predict compared to Real-Estate investment. But all that being said, Real Estate also has it downside, there are more risk on real estate, more of the time related to the tennant, if the tenant is bad the maintenance fee for the real estate could reduce the profit, not to mention other force majeur risk like fire and natural disaster. While Bitcoin is free of all those kind of risks.

For those who have little capital and want to become investors, bitcoin will always provide opportunities for them, but real estate is not for them with the money they have. So I would disagree when you say that investing in bitcoin is not better than real estate. Moreover, the high volatility of bitcoin is the reason why you and I and everyone choose bitcoin, why do you call it a disadvantage? That is the big advantage of bitcoin because the more volatile it is, the more opportunities we have to make profits.

Any investment has its own risks, real estate and bitcoin are no exception. Both are good assets worth investing in and holding, but it depends on each person's economic conditions to make the right choice. How will you invest in real estate when you have no money? But with bitcoin, you can start with any capital you have.
In my opinion bitcoin can reach all investor kinds not only with they are having large capital but also small capital can participants or investing in bitcoin. Can't see any small investors can investing their fund in real estate, build up business but under $500 of capital still ability for investing in bitcoin. There are not any exception to be investor in bitcoin, despite have small or large fund still can investing in bitcoin. In bitcoin we have easily way to manage with our investment, not required with hard working such as real estate investment we need well controlling.

Better position between real estate or bitcoin investment depend on personal each self, if have knowledge and much capital easily they can build up with real estate business but in bitcoin can invest with small fund.

My point is that bitcoin is more accessible because anyone can start with it with whatever minimal capital they have. But it's hard to say which is better, it's impossible to say that bitcoin is better just because it's accessible or real estate is better because it's more secure and tangible. Good or bad will depend on each person such as preferences, initial capital, needs...there are many factors necessary to evaluate what is good for a person. We should not just take a few examples or a few bad points and say that this is better than that. Like OP, if real estate is such a bad investment then why is it still the most sought after asset?

I agree with you. But sometimes you have to try to convince them or teach them about Bitcoin because the money they make in real state or any kinds of business is not consistent, there are times that your income is very low that's why there is a tendency that if they see the potential profit we get from Bitcoin they might come in to invest. I know that many of the investors in Bitcoin are came from that, it's just a matter of time. Our art of teaching might help without forcing.

Bitcoin is an inflation Hedge which makes it a store of value, and that differentiates it from every other investment and it has become so attractive to investors. Bitcoin is not run by any central authority, Bitcoin a total freedom.

In some cases, a compensation package is given to the affected ones, and even though they are not settled that does not mean Real estate investment is a bad investment idea as every investment comes with its own risk and this is the risk aspect of real estate investment.

My personal preference reason was the fact that we do not end up with anything even remotely close to this outside of bitcoin at decentralization. Obviously that's just one part of bitcoin and you could possibly have other reasons to like it but the singular control of governments all around the world regarding everything else made me stay away from them. Do not get me wrong, they could ban bitcoin and that's somehow a governmental outreach as well, but they can't control the coin itself, all they can do is control how you approach it. For example gold could be like that if we wanted to, but since its not digital, you would have to actually own it and would be much harder to get or sell.
Actually when saying this is different too I think this depends on our own preferences because in the end it is in this case all have different opinions about what bitcoin is and the reasons why bitcoin is said to be different from other investments but in this case what makes us one unit because indeed we have the same interest in bitcoin so that what we make as a bitcoin and besides that even though many people still doubt bitcoin but with some reasons we have started from decentralization or promising progress this has indeed been proven and it is the truth. This reason will all be considered the truth because we are already convinced of bitcoin and besides that even though many people still doubt bitcoin but with some of the reasons we have starting from decentralization or promising progress this has indeed been proven and it is the truth so that regardless of what people think we will still do what we want as well as investing in bitcoin.

All business activities have risks attached to them. The only thing that is not good about other governments is that they always make it seem like there is only risk in Bitcoin or cryptocurrency; they do not generalize that all types of businesses have risks.

So at this point, many people are thinking that because the government does not think that each person has their own mind to understand what is good or right, most people do not believe in what other governments say.

Now, as you speak on this topic, what do you want to point out in this discussion?

Even though some people will argue that Bitcoin was not created primarily as a means of investment, it has become obvious that Bitcoin presents a good investment opportunity.

Actually, bitcoin is primarily created for some purposes, which include peer-2-peer transactions without intermediate boundaries (which means you can send it to someone living in another country within some minutes without a lot of stress), online purchases, investments, and also as a store for value. So with this, I can say that bitcoin was also created for investment. If not for the sake of argument, many of us know that bitcoin as an investment is a big deal and needs to be understood and practiced.

One aspect that have created much argument is real estate with many saying it is more reliable than Bitcoin that they claim is risky.

In any business investment, there will be a profit and also a risk. I know the risk in bitcoin is higher than that in real estate, but there is a saying, The"higher the risk, the higher the profit.” If we can use this saying, I will say bitcoin investments have more profit than real estate investments, which is true, but all of them are profitable, and in any investment, you have to understand the risk before you join.

There is a sentence that makes me laugh in bitcoin and is very educative, which comprises a great explanation. The sentence says, “Invest what you can afford to lose." This sentence is not applicable to bitcoin alone but to all other investments because if you invest what you can’t afford to lose, you will end up regretting it. I always encourage my friends and family that if they want to start any investment or business, they should conduct adequate research and understand the risk of that business before they invest their money in it. Also, in all investments, don’t ever let the profit brainwash you, because if you let that happen, you will end up regretting it.
