Never analyze about some ICOs or altcoin project before investing, many people just get recommendation from the other to invest with some altcoin or ICOs project, never check details about how trusted or ICOs project for investing, will give opportunity to earn profit or lost money with ICOs, just trust with some one ask him for investing there and never want to get reviews first with their project investment. Probably the most important reason that I find on why people get scammed on the Internet is the lack of common sense.Many individuals think of the internet as a get rich quick scheme and once they are exposed to any form of investment promising high ROI, witjout a second taught they jump onto it, you and I as well know how this will end? If you make a quick search about how to earn money on the Internet you are going to find many websites claiming to be able to make you a millionaire in a very short amount of time, but if that was true do you really think that they would be giving that information for free or for a very small cost? When you ask yourself that question is easy to see those promises are nothing but lies.
Because they are not bothering about their safety. In 90 percent of cases it is just the lack of knowledge, because a lot of people are still providing their private keys in Telegram, just because a scammer asked them to do so.
so many people lose their private keys because they try to find easy money. And when a person wants to make money fast - scammers appear close to him!
It's due to many reason, some of them are blind trust on people on other end person. Half of the people use the internet as a median for scamming, because they don't know their accurate location and all. Remaining people change their mind without paying, after their work was completed. The fact is risk in everything, but you need to be wise in all aspects.

for beginners I think it is indeed the target of fraud projects, but when they stay focused the experience will multiply and make someone smarter in managing the project they want to invest in. distrust can be the basis that makes someone want to know a project more deeply, and finally they find out about the project. then I don't think giving more trust to a project is better researching a project first for you to give trust to them
Lack of knowledge is the fruit of laziness, because if you are not lazy then you must have enough knowledge on the internet and cyber world because you will do a proper research on how internet works and what you can do in the internet. The answer to that is very easy.... FOMO and Greed.
Unfortunately some people still fall into the trap when they hear random people shilling the same project over and over again and after a while, the pressure builds and they feel they can make a fast buck with itt and sometimes it ends up badly, to avoid it, you have to DYOR and avoid greed.

OP hit the nail on the head. Greed and laziness are the banes to being scammed. Also I will add incontendness. Although someone can be scammed for the first time due to lack of adequate knowledge but he should learn a vital lesson from it and not fall victim again.

That's for sure, friend. I also think people's awareness is lacking in finding out every offer that comes to them. Not only on the internet.When there is a slightly good chance, most people will definitely take it. Regardless of whether it is really honest or fraudulent. Lamest excuse I've ever hear, stupid rather. It is your job to figure out everything that here in the world of cryptocurrency or even in the actual world, especially if you are getting some gut feeling that a certain person is a scammer, you could smell it by the way. Scammers can't provide proof of legitimacy so you better ask it first to confirm if they could really be trusted.

I have seen cases of fake crypto, scam exchanges or fake ICOs. People easily get fooled by these because crypto needs technical knowledge too to understand it. It is not easy to handle a crypto wallet or trade on exchanges specially DEX. Similarly, it is tough to differentiate between fake ICO and coins. That's why people can easily be fooled in crypto world. Crytpo education is the key.
