Indeed, many people wants to get rich quick thats why if there's an offer promising high return like hyip they grab it without even searching further about the investment that they would like to invest their hard-earned money, then in the end they will regret everything.

There's no such thing online even in crypto. It takes a lot of patience and guts before you can achieve what you want with your investment. Most importantly knowledge and better understanding are needed to be able to comprehend whats happening.

Most of the reason why people are easily cheated, first because they want to make huge profits instantly, second because they are lack of informations and third because they are easy to trust others. I was tricked by a hyip site that promises a lot of profit, from there I began to realize that, we should not easily trust other people who provide quick profits irrationally. That incident was my reason for being the last time I was tricked, so every time there was a place that promised profit I was always looking for information.

You are right, greed is still the main thing that scammer projects continue to exist because most scanmer projects provide many existing bonuses. they don't know enough to make a profit because it's a matter of profit you just need to find a good target for your funds. and as long as you are still looking for quick profits without knowing about the project that there are losses when investing in your funds

Sometimes people make mistakes, some of them are still new to internet things and they just think there is nothing like getting scammed because everything seems legit to them and they don't know how things work they just jump on it without realizing it.

I have fallen for scam once, but I didn't lose my money. I just spent my time working for a scam project and getting people to join their project, I even got a lot of people and at the end I wasn't paid, that's when I knew that it was a scam. I was still new when this happened, I was 16 years old then lol, and I don't know much about internet jobs and investment and all that. It's after that one that I decided to start learning about all these things and how they work.

Ever since then I have never been scammed, despite coming across a lot of scam projects. You just have to know how they work and they are easy to dictate once you have learned it. I can easily tell a scam project this time around , whether in cryptocurrency or elsewhere online.

They are lacking in knowledge and they are not aware on many scam in the internet. They are being fooled by fake advertisement that saying they will be easily rich when they join but they need to invest little amount of money first to gain more. Easy money can fool many people who wants easy work to get money.

LOL.. the answer to the question raised by the OP is very much evident in this forum. Look around.. the vast majority of the users (especially the noobs) want to get rich overnight. And that is exactly the reason why they have joined this forum. They believe that Bitcoin is some magic wand or magic lotion, that can make them billionaires in a few seconds.

Now let me explain how this works. Everyone knows that Bitcoin may no longer give 100x (like what happened in 2013) returns. And these noobs are not satisfied with 5x or 10x returns. They still want 100x or 200x returns, and therefore they make investments in various shitcoins after trusting the tall claims made by the promoters of these coins. And this is how people lose money around here. Instead of 100x profit, most likely they will be getting a 100% loss.

however, all this about the projects that we are involved with. many people are victims because they have not done extensive research and excessive greed. These 2 things are often linked in this regard. however, when you find out what you are involved in, it has a small risk of becoming a scam.

Actually what most people think about in building a project is income and money, whether the project idea is able to compete in market or not, they just want to be like others, famous and a lot of income. And if their project ends up not according to plan, they easily leave without thinking about their previous promises, or refunds.

I rather think that people who do not have the courage to do their own research therefore they only look for existing references. if new investors don't dare to start in a structured way they might get caught up in a scammer project, so it is better for new investors to learn more about knowing a project with its own analysis

new investors tend to be greedy when they see a project with high return and usually they have low knowledge let alone making an analyzation which could make it even worse because you can't analyze if you have little knowledge about project. for new investors it's better to just stick to an IEO hosted by the popular exchange instead of trying a project with zero guarantee. new investors is the reason why there are so many scam project appearing because they are trying to lure the new investors' money because that is the easiest thing they can do.

because reading is the beginning in doing research on a project so that you are not fooled by the existing project. Most of the mistakes happen because of ignorance to do research and do not dare to try to research on the investments made

Poverty, laziness and greed is the main thing that I would think usually make people get scammed in the cryptocurrency market, because it is an extremely poor person that will not be patient to study the market carefully before actually thinking of making investment because they want a very fast way of making return, so they don’t make a good decision through research but just by instinct.

Like you also said, greed is one of the thing that usually destroy lots of people in this aspect also, many people are so greedy that they want to put tiny money and get very large amount of money, which is why you see that scammers are actually using this weakness against them, they promise to turn their very little amount of money to big one which eventually gets to the investor to rush into making investment.
