Poverty , Lack of knowledge so they couldn't find other jobs,

I think prostitution is one of the worst occupation i have ever seen. Some people go in this profession in the name of back luck. I think prostitution is the most easy profession for all and thats why people come to this profession.
This is the oldest profession in the world it have been here many year before us and will stay after us, but how and why it appear idk. All of you have point and very good arguments. But probably we must make research and ask 100 girls/women who work in this area.
Lots of prostitutes (probably you can call these one’s escorts) earn a lot of money so for them it’s money. What I would class as an actual prostitute is a cheap priced hooker, you never know what pushed them to do the job. They could have been an orphan, they could have been abused as a child. They could he doing it to fund addictions, who knows. I prefer not to judge them negatively though.
there are many reasons why people approach prostitution in my opinion the main ones are these: poverty, desire to make easy money without working, difficult family situations, or even coercion by other people, but none of these reasons justify selling their body there are always other ways, in the case of obligation, compulsion they must always report
Drunk n drugs is one of the answer, but i think their economy the best answer, because they need money a lot but they don't know what suposssed to do so they are use shortcut in life to make money with sell body
Not really poverty. The root cause is sin or satan power over a person. Prostitutes don't necessarily have to be only those whose main business involves prostitution. Many people usually have sex with people they are not married to for reward or for money. By the way, the one giving the money and the one collecting for sex are involved.

Agreed totally,i forgot to mention this recently but yeah Drug addiction is also one of the reason why people got into prostitution.But also many of them only learn how to use drugs when they entered the prostitution because of Money matter,and eventually as they move on,Drugs and Alcohol and also cigarettes get into the system so they become addicted in vices.

I think it is not because of the poverty, i believe going into prostitution is a choice, there are so many solution that is in a poverty stage but they dont even think about entering in to prostitution there are so many ways to make a profit so i think it is not about poverty it is a choice.
And that's their choice because they are experiencing poverty.We're in a world that's full of choices and those people that you think that are not even thinking, it's their choice and only last resort to get out of it or at least have something to eat.
As per my point of view the biggest reason behind it is poverty. When people are not able to fulfil their basic needs and they have no source of earning. Then they went to do anything for their child for their self for fulfil their needs.
Poverty is the major reason as nobody would like to fall in this zone even women themself. But the conditions or situations at times forces them because they require money to live their livelihood and this is how they earn it. AT times also human trafficking results into them being getting pushed.
Yes many people do not enter here due to poverty they have high aspirations if there is a physical disability in the case of sexual intercourse between a man and a woman in a family then the minds of the men and women of that world have an evil intention to commit adultery in their minds. In a world where both of them do not give importance to each other neglect underestimate do not give proper status the men and women of that world may get involved in strangers without knowing it many are involved in greed for money.

We have our own situation and chances,and also availability's so please don't judge them base on your own ideas.Many of them hated their position but life leaves them no choice but to enter prostitution .

Logically, no explanation is justifiable going into prostitution apart from the same reason that makes people seek white collar jobs - money. A lot of those who go into it adduce poverty or rejection as their reasons just so they won't be frowned at but in the actual sense they go into it because they see it as a real job. What other job satisfaction does a kleptomaniac need? Yep, I know not all kleptomaniacs love that cloak of prostitution. But those who don't indulge it as a profession, will find flirtatious ways to express that carnal craving. Well, apart from the morality question (I am a moralist) on such a profession, I think people won't see it differently as not a job. So, those who go into it should quit excuses.

Its really tough situation and as said most people don't get into the prostitution with happy face and really they are sacrificing their life for their family and it happens mostly on the developing countries.

I believe the main factor why people go into prostitution is financial constraints. Mind you, males going into prostitution is on the Increase nowadays.
The common reason is poverty. Some women can only think of prostitution as the solution to their problem to have an easy money specially those uneducated. One of the prostitute I know is a single parent and a breadwinner of her family. So its all about money, I dont think women enter prostitustion for other selfish reason.
I don't know if this is really the reason why woman go into prositution. There are so many other ways to earn money without selling your body. I my country it's very common that the woman is forced into prostitution by their husband or boyfriend. You will see a lot of guys standing outside of the brothel where their woman is working and drinking coffee. It's a clear form of exploitation because I am pretty sure they will take all the money away. I would wish for the government to step in and protect the woman.
But there's an agency (called dswd here in our country) who protect the rights of women if they really want to file a complaint and be protected. There's an option so they dont need to live with fear and prostitution.
