This is a wellknown story:

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all"

"It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego." He continued, "The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed".

But why do we so easily succumb to feed the evil wolf? Why do we hate and feed it and react hatefull towards others?
The feelings of having a bad and good attitude was depending in the individuals of how are they're apply it by simply choosing
in between good and bad. Of course if we allow ourselves to be eaten by bad/evil things we will become a bad person but if allow good deeds or any virtues to our characteristics we are feeding ourselves to become a good person.

It ironic that most people easily hate other people than love them. It seems that it is really easier to feel hate with another individual because most of the people are hot or short tempered that whenever there's a certain thing that happened that they did not like, they will feel angry and that's the time where hate will come. Another reason is because people are more to feel insecure with others so instead of liking them, they tend to be jealous and feel inferior which lead them to hate the other person around. In other instances, people hate because they felt hurt and left out without knowing any reason why the specific someone has did it to them. Its really certain that its easier to hate than love because there's a lot of negative things that people can feel rather than being happy.

People hate because of their insecurities, selfishness, enviousness, and jealousy. The nature of man is that they will never be satisfied and contented with their life and with that, hate will arise. Most of the time, people enjoys or loves to hate other people because they can't hate themselves, or should I say they don't want to blame themselves for not being good enough.

People loves to create reasons to hate. It is like trying to understand each other takes too much effort. Such bad society.
Communication is the key. You need to communicate with yourself, too.
People hates only if He/She has a bad feeling with the person if that kind didn't do something bad to Him/her, which is cause or the beginning of his/her hating someone.

Most commonly, people hate others when they pose a threat to their own very existence. For example, take the case of Muslim immigrants in cities such as Burnley and Birmingham. They are intimidating the natives.

The good wolf wins. If society has many evil wolves , society will not be a complete society. Good things always win over evil.
We easily give in to the emotions of hate and anger to other people because it is in the nature of the people. Genetics? Can be a probable cause of it, but we cannot deny the fact that it is already imprinted within our genes. Also put into consideration that the actions of other people also triggers hate. If one person looks "good" to you, sure enough you won't feel any hate towards him/her. But if he/she doesn't, you might start feeling some hatred towards him/her. Sometimes, it's also a matter of how you put things into perspective; the more you incline in one side, the less you will feel towards the other.

It's simple really.
We are all created as divine beings, God's children.
Since human fall, we lost this sense of divine being and can't look others as God's children, our brothers and sisters, part of one universal family with common Parent, God.
So, since we are not connected any more with God's love, goodness and love almost vanished from the world, and when there is no goodness and love, the space for evil and hatred opens.
When we return to God, hate and evil will disappear.

I believe that one of the main reasons people either jump to conclusions about a person’s character or just outright hate them for no reason at all is because we see this as a defense mechanism. Whether it is done subconsciously or the individual is completely cognizant of their actions, we defend ourselves and our own personal hatred by hating others.

Im not agree with you because everyone hate for a reason.. If you hate someone, there is definitly a reason !! Most possible reason is jealousy because people has not able to see other's success... Right?

Because they just don't understand others, no one wants to understand the next guy. People are jealous to others because of their success or something they can not achieve which someone has already achieved. People are afraid of what they don't understand or for some cannot connect with, their beliefs are sometimes manipulated, some people turn that fear into hate.

Well said. I think that fear is man's greatest weakness. Turning it into hate is just pure ignorance.
Acceptable is what will make our battle inside have the good side win.

Absolute zero is as cold as things can get. All molecular motion stops at absolute zero.

Most people don't know that there is something called absolute hot. Absolute hot is supposedly the highest temperature that things can get to be. Scientists don't agree on how hot this is, but it is somewhere in at least the double digit millions of degrees.

The interesting thing about all this is, if we could make something just a tiny bit colder than absolute zero, it would instantly jump to absolute hot. Conversely, if we could make something just a little hotter than absolute hot, it would instantly jump to absolute zero.

I think that love and hate work like that. Hateful people who push their hate a little too far jump into love. But loving people who push their love too far, jump into hate.
